I don't get these reads.


I thought LC was coming around on v!Scotty over his last few observations of him, so the 50/50 threw me off. Scotty just kinda accepted the 50/50 read without batting an eye, which doesn't really match his general approach of pressure to the thread.

I have a very slight ping from Thunal's post here. Mainly the slight dig at me which is the only such post she made in the first couple pages of this game. Every other one has been a light off-topic comment, or something framing players in a more positive light (such as the townleans on nut and Scotty here).

The thing that bugs me a little is that I can see this sort of thing coming from a wolf attempting to ease into a scumlean, given that the observation itself isn't really something that would warrant a read.

But it's only a minor ping, because it could very well just be a dig, and I haven't noticed anything else from Thunal that's bothered me yet.

This post caught my eye. Marmots reasons for pulling this post as sus are pretty nuanced, and require reading into what Thunal said quite a bit. Other posts other people have made about them, more overt posts, got the equivalent of a 'meh' reaction from them. And her original remark doesn't read like a "dig", it reads like a math nerd inside joke.

This posts reads to me like one of two things to me, neither of them towny. Either they are trying to find a reason to state a sus of Thunal since she is the main other person taking thread heat at this point, or they are trying to put some distance between themself and Thunal should one of them go over. At this point, Thunal looks pretty much like she did in Sesame St early to me, where she was town, so I'm leaning the former, but I have more bad experience with her than town, so

I just skimmed so far, that ^^ is what jumped out to me. I doubt I'm in danger of even approaching 70 posts, much less going over, lol, so I'll react as I go along like normal. I especially want to read Syn v Thunal, becasue i'm not sure I got the issue there on a skim.

I noticed this conversation last night, but wanted to see where it went, since i was kinda townreading Syn in general as well, and kinda wanted to know why he thought that was unreasonable

Having read the whole thing again, I think Syn is sincere in the whole exchange, I think he really believes what he's saying. Thunal, maybe not. She feels like she's scrambling a bit. Could be becasue the basis of the suspicion is unexpected (I know I'm always taken aback a bit when someone questions my townread of them, looking at you Sean), but it feels more like she's over explaining a bit. More than a bit in some places.

I could understand how that looks a bit teamy rather than natural banter-y, but since Scottys last readslist has Thunal at the bottom of it less than 24 hours into day 1 (he would have to be the worst baddie teammate ever to bus her so hard this early), and over all I'm t/r Scotty, I don't think I agree re him, but ++ town for Syn out of this whole issue.

I came back for Anni. I didn't play Jestermania. Have I ever (recently, not back in the day) seen you bad? I'm not sure that I have.

Over all, if I had to GTH vote for either Marmot or Thunal, I'd vote Marmot. If I made rainbows, Thunal'd be orange, Marmot'd be red. I'd like to hear from Dizzy on Thunal, too.

The first few pages just reads awkward and wolfy to me. Like "haha, mafia, right? Questioning and such, am I right, fellow townies, haha". His question to Sean isn't something I see him actually wondering about. Neither is his question to Nutella. And then he agrees with Nut's read on Scotty when Nut doesn't have a read on Scotty. It's jitters. Someone said it was jitters actually.
