which leads into my next comment, which is when I went back again I only found like 1 post by long con I townread, idk what I was remembering from before. but long con also jumped onto marmot's random vote idea expeditiously, and I didnt like that. marmot has a reason to loudly exclaim "hey idk what's going on, help" right. he clearly isn't like, super caught up with the game or quite active. long con, however, seems to be caught up in thread when he posts, and yet he like... tried to act like he was just being a silly little guy for fun when he guided marmot's vote. it was irresponsible

“Somebody order a pizza?” Stanley grinned as he plopped the box down on the little tray table. Sgt. Drake was taking his turn at the screen and he didn’t bother looking up as Stanley opened the box and started tucking into a greasy piece of cheese pizza.

“Did I miss anything good?”

Drake shook his head in response, attempting to ignore the other man chewing with his mouth open. “Just more mingling and partying. I wish the sound quality was better on these things so I could hear more of their conversations.”

“Take a break, eat a slice.” Stanley had nearly finished his first huge piece already.

“Nah, I can’t. I feel like something is wrong. Like I’m missing something.”

“Something like your appetite?”

Drake ignored him, flipping idly through the cameras. “Wait a minute…” he flipped through the shots a little more quickly. “Lime Coke is missing.”

“What do you mean, missing?”

“I mean I can’t see them on any of these shots.”

“Did you see anyone leaving? Cut to the outside.”

Drake flipped a second switch, changing to the exterior set of cameras and flipping through until he came to a shot of the walkway out front. A lump in the form of a body lay halfway tucked under the bushes.

“Better call the chief,” Stanley commented, taking another bite of the pizza.
