The pair in the cramp boxed truck had fallen into silence. Drake was clearly irritable with the situation and the warmth of the truck was lulling Stanley to sleep. Every once in a while a stray snore broke the silence and Stanley woke with a start only to fall asleep again. Sgt. Drake ignored it all, instead watching the party with the headphones on. The cell phone in his pocket chimed with an incoming message. He sighed and slipped it back in his pocket after reading the message before nudging Stanley with elbow.

“Looks like they’re sending the squad car back to carry out another warrant.”

Stanley rubbed a hand over his sleep-crusted eyes. “You know what I think?”

“Not really.”

“Lizard people. The lizard people are definitely behind this.”

“Listen, I’d take being stuck in this truck with lizard people over you. I’m going to stretch my legs.”

Sgt. Drake hopped out into the fresh night air and watched as the cops showed up to cuff Porscha and cart them off.

Also, I owe an apology to Abbi (I can't figure out how to tag her). I was on an extremely short fuse last night and I'm not sure why I was so pissed off at her posts in particular.

I've cooled off now, you did give your readlist, and I get that you didn't think lurker wagons were useful. I still don't townread you, I don't scumread you either, but I will try harder to find you.

No. I was sitting stressed out at a place waiting and looked at my phone and realised I had ~10 minutes to vote and had forgot to vote so I drudged up what memory I had and put my trust in Robyn and put it forth.

Also LC not claiming in legacy is kinda wolfish tbh.

I would call it wolfy except that people got mad at me for saying lily was wolfy for leaving her legacy blank, too. Both those players knew they were likely to die, but apparently "town doesn't have to share information" or whatever the counterargument was that I do not buy whatsoever.

LC still not leaving a legacy AFTER that very public debate on it feels wolfier.

I got the feeling he hadn't backread, though.
I did see svs remind people to write legacies at EoD, though, so I do think Brad should've seen *something* that would've reminded him.

But Abbi's counterargument to me is that town doesn't have TMI so they don't owe anyone reads and also don't owe anyone their role. I disagree completely, as was evidenced by how fucking long I spent arguing with her over it, but I can't call it wolfy if I don't know whether town is also doing it. Especially the slankers. And by that, I mean, would Brad have shared the same view? If he were, say, vanilla town with no results would he write that in his legacy? I still think it's important, but it didn't seem like I was in the majority opinion.

I don't think that's quite what I said maybe it's lost in translation the thing to me is if your legacy adds nothing new why drop it. People will assume they are right on you regardless Lily proves this she was like super obv town and yet we want to play assuming she was red it's just no good imho.

Ok so anyway, I'm not entirely sure whether Brad was town or scum. Again, he didn't leave a legacy, but he did talk in the thread while trying to save himself for a while. Porscha is town for actually trying to solve Brad, I'm not rescinding that.

I got mixed signals from Brad when he was replying to Porscha and I think he could realistically be either alignment, which is unfortunately not such a valid conclusion.

The other two who died didn't place votes, and if you look at the VC, marmot didn't vote either, but a ghost vote landed on him and he didn't die. So I'm thinking it's a game mechanic that punishes people for not voting, with the random chance that if a ghost vote lands on you, you might not die.

Anyway, I don't think that's important, other than pointing out that everyone should place a vote during the day if they don't want to die.

Also, where are you getting that lily was super towny? I had mixed feelings on her when she was posting cause I thought she was towny at first but started to doubt that take during the night, so I don't really think I can make an assumption without factoring in the lack of legacy.

It did occur to me, however, that there could be a wolf role that wipes legacies, akin to a janitor. I don't think any of the earlier flips were janitored, though, but the flavor note on Porscha's legacy kind of makes me think her legacy existed but got wiped.

I do recall that she said Brad lurking is NAI for him, which, yeah, I'd agree except in the case that he's a wolf and the game is going badly for his team. Which we don't know for sure, but then it comes down to assumptions lol.

She played like town Lily I don't even know why people wanted her dead she was herself and nothing she did was that dramatically wolfy I don't see wolf motivation I see towny annoyance towny indignation purity frustration at how you were attacking her it was ALL towny. None of her play advances a wolf agenda nor does it play wolfy. She's just town... probably. I town read her early. I town read her all night phase. I know you think I'm not the greatest mafia player but my early reads are generally pretty fire.

I will agree that lily didn't do anything dramatically wolfy, but as I said earlier (I think during the night, and probably in response to Porscha iirc), I almost always think she's tonally towny on D1 but she makes her alignment apparent a bit later. I've seen her wolf once or twice, I think twice? And starting on D2 onward it sometimes becomes apparent if she's making an agenda push or reacting in a wolfy way. I don't think there was much for her to react to on D1 except maybe the boq/Porscha thing and the discussion between lily and robyn. That's really all we have to go off. She didn't have a super egregious reaction to people calling for Scotty to shoot her.

If wolves are winning, then who's the team? You think they're powerwolfing to push town, or you think they're lurking and letting town jump off a cliff on its own?

I do think pyxxy and JOH were slank kills. Neither of them voted for two days in a row, and voting is mandatory. Everyone else who didn't vote yesterday had voted D1, and the others who didn't vote on D1 like me voted on D2.
