Does anyone else feel like this is going to result in a 1-on-1 lynch?

Whose only voter died mysteriously? Cool... go for it..?
What roles could do that? The Hatter, Gollum, Voldemort... outside chance of The Doctor, but it doesn't seem like Doc's style to kill people who voted for him.

Gollum? Roxy might have had the Ring? It could be something unrelated to the lynch of course. There is a secret role.

Okay. So I've been reading the thread in spurts as I was able tonight (multitasking and whatnot). The main thing that I noticed was how many times the suspicions/majority votes seemed to change. Interesting theories on quiet/inactive players, and some nastiness along the way which was unfortunate. I am running on 2-3 hours of sleep from last night and I have been fighting the urge to fall asleep where I am all day. That being said, while I see some interesting cases, and I'd like to check the validity of this sudden popular vote on Russ, I am far too tired to do so, and I am not comfortable voting without checking. So at the risk of spreading the vote/looking like whatever, I'm going to vote LC, because my opinion on him hasn't changed. Might look at the whole changing aspect of people's opinions/votes tonight when I'm more awake, might not. Sleep will tell. Sleeeeeep.

So good night, good luck, and I hope the outcome is favorable. And I hope I made some semblance of sense above :offtobed:
Uh, at the risk of spreading the vote, you voted for the guy with 1 vote at the time (Mine) and spread the vote?

LC, don't worry. I understand if you're still super pissed at me. You're not an asshole. You're a player I incredibly respect and always will.

Everyone should totally pick me in the poll. :feb:

Elohcin wrote:Just b/c you weren't lynched doesn't mean you were an asshole. I still think MP basically outed that he is on the baddies side.
Now how did I do that?

How could I possibly be on the baddies' side? I don't know who they are. Even if my Narrator was bad, that still would only be one bad role that I would know.

timmer wrote:I'm guessing Omega Red wasn't submitting names each night, and the votes just accumulated? What an appropriately fucked up end to a fucked up lynch.
LOL, what a fitting end to the day. Seriously. No other end would have been better. I love it.

Wow, this is so brilliant. So lucky we had a non-participant, for once. I'm very glad that role is gone tbh.

But you know very well that as the members of a badie team start to get lynched, that the voting records, thread comments and everything start to build up and it becomes increasingly easier with each baddie teammate's death to find the rest of them. Thus, if DH were a suit, for instance, you would have no problem indirectly moving a lynch away from snowy, if you thought snowy was his teammate, as protecting snowy would mean protecting DH. Right?

Also, for all of those that are declaring not to trust me and that I'm the one that caused everything this past lynch, think twice. My one vote wouldn't have done anything. And plenty of people that listened to me. Honestly, I was just trying to find non-recruit baddies.

I do deny that, since he is not my recruit. I can see why you'd think that, BUT, I've said multiple times I intended on lynching DH. I changed my mind only upon realization of a certain possibility.

But since Russ denied hinting, perhaps we should have just lynched him or DH.

Also, if it helps, DH, I'm pretty sure the original Russ voters were me, zeek, Snowy, Made, and juliets, in that order, but after that it gets a bit hairy.

Also, timmer, you should reconsider your narrow-minded approach to DH and Snowy.

Didn't Rox say she was sick earlier? So how would her vote for Snowy on D6 have anything to do with that?

Are you suggesting that Roxy died of a poisoning or something?

When asked about her death comment, she replied:

"elaborate that I am sick? Ok. I have the flu and been running a high fever there was talk of the hospital but I promised my doc I would take a couple of days off which I have. "

I think Roxy was just sick, and that her vote for Snowy very well may have had something to do with her death. Call me narrow-minded if you want, but everyone knows what you're up to, my man. Snowy is bad fucking news.

Voting for me had nothing to do with Roxy's death.

And seeing the utter panic at the end stages of this vote reminds me of my feelings on the day 1 vote. This is what it's like for me often. I don't like it and it's one of the reasons I am leaving.

I may not have said much about DH, timmer, but neither have I about LC. I am avoiding that shit altogether. I thought Hedge might be The Doctor for some reason.

Of course, coming after me all game for a Day One vote is sketchy in its own right, but at least she displays some consistency in this lynch.

Omega Red was an Indy, not a baddie. :eye: You are a major suspect to me.
They're all baddies to me. Am I bothered?

Hold that thought.
I eagerly await your clarification.

And I'm sorry I've suspected you off and on all game. I'm starting to believe my fears were unfounded.
I think we need to look at ni...nij...bloo...that one.
I will be interested in what you find. I re-read her maybe a cycle ago and couldn't find anything that made me more suspicious (I originally just had a gut vibe about her but could not support it with thread evidence).

Also RIP Roxy, I was pretty sure you were civ. Hope you feel better.

Sometimes it will naturally come out, but it can be contained if we just remember that this is a game on a message board forum that 99.99% of the population of the Earth has never heard of before. No matter how successful anyone is, it means just about nothing.

He also seemed to be digging at DH's supposed "mudslinging then backing off," but I found DH's defense of himself to be sound (one can suspect something, then back off when it's proven by others or situations that that suspicion might be unfounded). Although DH can be a master of deception, from my little experience with him, he doesn't give me the baddie vibes today (he was more lighthearted and less argumentative when I played with him in Misfits). Anyway, that's what pings me the most Day 1, so I'll be going with that.

Re the first post: Sorry I forgot to thank you for your sympathies regarding the last lynch. It's true I have been focusing on myself too much, and not giving appreciation to guys like you who, despite being on opposite sides of the Mafia melee, can keep it real like that and recognize some unusual craziness.

Re the second post: Yes, I know. It's a point to think about. I went back to search her posts to see if she was actually suspecting me for just the Rey vote on Day One, and I found that defense of you interesting enough to share.

And I could be wrong, and she's a Civ, and she just legit suspects me, and you are fine with taking her down because she's not on your team. Or you're teammates, and your recent post was high-quality distancing. I am trying not to be biased with my opinion on that one, not because I'm unsure of your baddieness, but because I'm unsure of Nijuu's connection to you.

I was just tampering with a project of mine and actually said the words "this game has been designed to give participating players a distinct competitive advantage over non-participating players" and then I died a little inside.
