Didn't completely catch up, sort of skimmed cause I was in a rush to vote I'll catch up during the night

Quick thoughts are that I really need to reevaluate lily, Nook is starting to lose the towniness I thought he had before because he feels like he's just giving reads for the sake of giving reads, and I'm not really feeling like svs is town anymore, as evidenced by my vote.

I think Wilgy has been doing at least a little that sounds towny but idk his wolfrange, I just think some of his observations a re good.

???? if a multiball then tmi reads are valid, i've cleverly played a multiball and got n1ed after having a 4/6 solve. the teams know that there are mafia faking solving and are genuinely trying to solve the other team and uses their nk to strike down 1) high influence players 2) potential mafia. last on the list is conf towns especially in a flipless

I'll find out at endgame. Mafia choosing kills is based on a hell of a lot more than those two factors.

The kills so far do not indicate that mafia is trying to kill other mafia
They're just killing players that are widely townread as far as I can tell

Oh yeah, and what I was gonna say earlier was that multiball usually involves multiple teams wanting each other dead, but 1 scumteam + 3p team does not necessarily have the same dynamic. If the 3p team is survivors or something fairly benign, they're not out for blood. And if the 3p team is a serial killer team, they're more out for blood than anyone else lol.

Drake hadn’t come back into the truck since Porscha had been arrested. Stanley began to worry about where he might have gone. Finally, his concern got the better of him and he set aside the pizza and the headphones to step out into the cool night air. He could see Sgt. Drake pacing back and forth down the road.

When he finally caught up to him he asked, “You ok, partner?”

“No! Nothing about tonight is ok. People are dropping like flies, mysterious arrest warrants are coming through. Something is just plain wrong here and I can’t figure out what it is.”

“Well, maybe you should just keep you head down and let it go. That’s what I do. Follow orders and stay out of trouble.”

“That’s why you haven’t had a promotion in fifteen years too,” Sgt Drake snapped back.

“Ouch.”

There was a quiet moment of tension and Drake drew a deep breath, “I’m sorry, man. That was harsh, I know. I just have this sinking feeling that we are going to take the fall for whatever shady back room deal is going on here.”

Stanley clapped him on the shoulder, “Nah, just keep your head down, we’ll be ok.”

Just as he said those words a gun shot rang out. Drake darted for the truck, cursing under his breath the whole way. Diving for the chair he quickly tried to pull up the video feeds, only to see that S~V~S was lying bleeding in the middle of the dance floor, a single gunshot wound to the head. And no one had been in the truck monitoring the party when it happened.

Legacy Day 3: Legacy Day Three SVS: I’m town, I’m a limited parity checker. I never had this kind of role before and I was looking forward to using it, but figured the jokes on me! Parity checking in a closed set up with no flips won’t tell me much, plus I only choose one target, the second person is random. I have three shots, Night One I chose Long Con, and Random. org chose Marmot ... and they came back two different alignments! LC as Hat, Marmot as Boot. I didn't know which was which though. Night Two though, I got lucky. I checked Windward cause I was pretty sure she was town, and she came back Hat! Same as LC. Random. org picked ME!! And I came back Hat too. So WWA and LC are town, since I am, too. Marmot is NOT town. He's a boot, a bad boot. So let's see who pushes back the hardest to save the boot!

A thorough search of Marmot's body turns up no sign of any legacy.

As they say, PRs sometimes come across wolfy when they have TMI
I would say that the wagon on svs had to contain a wolf who knew that svs was pushing on their teammate, but considering marmot was on his way to getting slank killed, Im not so sure.

Because if we had gone with svs's suggestion and yeeted marmot, we would have a dead marmot and a living svs, and no legacy from svs to go with it. She could very well have been killed at night and her legacy wiped, or we could've gone another day before mislunching her.

Basically, a marmot lunch wouldve been the equivalent of a no-lunch because he would've been slank killed regardless, so I don't think his wolf team would be as keen on pushing a counterwagon as they ordinarily might.

Not like anyone was going with the suggestion to kill marmot, anyway...

I also see 3 ghost votes and only 1 nonvoter (marmot), so I guess I still don't understand the mechanic. Oh well.

I don't really know what to think of the Wilgy wagon. I don't really get the sense that Nanook has been solving so much as just slapping reads on people and moving on, but maybe I just don't understand his play because he hasn't given much explanation other than being good at reading a handful of players, and I don't have the experience to know what his reasoning could be. Idk.

Since I'm a bit lacking in scumreads right now, I'm considering going through the players on the svs wagon anyway, one by one, and figuring out which of them is most likely to be a wolf who suspects svs of having dirt on marmot.

I think it must've been "limited" in that she only picks one of her targets and the other is randomized. Not limited in function.

And also yeah, I had the same thought as you about the hat/boot thing, but if it just works like a normal parity cop with a random check, then she probably did interpret her results correctly

I wasn't sure if you wanted boq to answer before I do, but the wolf death rate I think is pretty simple. If you're not trying to save them from going over, or you're even voting them consistently, you're not a wolf. There's no need to bus in a flipless game.

Idk about marmot, that's anyone's guess since apparently none of his partners could convince him to play the game, meaning he was just cannon fodder that nobody thought was worth discussing except for svs who had a red on him.

I recently played a multiball closed setup where the player who got yeeted D1 and I who got yeeted D2 were both 3p survivors in a game where literally everyone else was on a scumteam and there were two *actual* wolves, so it was their duty to figure out that they were multiball town with 2 scum to kill.

But obviously, they killed the two survivors who had absolutely no idea about the setup whatsoever first. Lol.

However wild Rondo gets with his setups, I doubt it's like that.
