If we’re all part of a band, (all playing guitar) and some are trying to sabotage our show, I ask anyone that’s here:
-what kind of guitar do you play? What does it look like?
-are you more of a support or do you want the solos?
-what is your ideal venue?

* My friends son is trying to get this guitar for Christmas. My friends husband isn't sure the son is serious enough about it to justify the expense. It's acoustic electric which apparently amplifies the acoustic sound primarily for stage use; hubby isn't sure Sonny needs that. We'll see. My friend think she'll chip in half if her son manages to save half. But to get to the question, I'd play this. I think it's gorgeous, and since I failed at lessons, as an acoustic I wouldn't much be harrassing others when I play it.



*Support. IRL I think I'd make a fab personal assistant, I love pulling the strings and making things happen in the background. So standing in the background, mentally planning the bands next move, holding my lovely guitar without actually playing it, would be the place for me. A place where I could watch people rather than them watching me. This is what I'd like, but it seldom happens lol. I generally try pushing the front man out of the way , with varied degrees of success.

*For a band I was in? Someplace dark with a large stage I could fade back on. For a band I worked for? A place with an office with plants and a big window I could use to figure out who was trying to sabotage us by poring over concert footage.

Never got into electric. Something about the tuning felt too naked when learning. But I like the idea of getting them to half pay.

It does translate. Day one I play pretty much the same, i think. I tend to be a bit more haphazard when I'm town, say stupid shit, etc. I look for a hook when town, something that someone says that seems not right. Then I become kind of a PITA. But I need the hook. When I'm bad, I try to avoid "being" the hook. "Almost too smooth" someone called it once, and they were right. I'm never a PITA when I'm bad.

Well, hopefully they show. Normally I don't love voting low posters or no shows, but the fact that 2 of the 3 wolves in the last game I played were no/low shows makes me a bit paranoid that way.

Since I was reading Hal as you, I didn't understand his stats/probabilities re the rerandomization issue, which is NAI for you since it's a me thing, not a you thing, and I found your fixation on personal details to be very NAI for you.

it was a simple post and i'm not sure why everyone is so confused. i assert that the second rand will always be town regardless of the persons second rand. and that the first rand being town has 7/9 chance of being town + the 9/9 chance of being town on rand #2. it was just an obvious thing to me, and i mostly said it out of wanting to be right to long con than an actual opinion. because it's not even an opinion, more of a factual observation

also alting generally doesn't work for me, i'm wayyyyy too idiosyncratic and when i alt i turn into a caricature of myself which is even more impossible to read because people try to read random comments and inquisitiveness. and who knows what other insane things i'll say

I seem to have the idea that Falcon is in a band? I seem to recall having seen a picture of him here or maybe on Discord playing a guitar? And isn't Epi a kind of one man band? Roxy had one of his tapes and I believe he played all his own instruments.

I enjoy music, and think i have fairly good taste, but I am just not good at it myself.

I make precise reads on you most games, because you ask me my opinion specifically like every game, since you seem to think I read you well (I assume, to be quite honest). I would prefer you not use my reads to beat people over the head with. Whether or not anyone agrees with me about you is only important, at the end of the day, to you.

First, I think self meta is mostly pointless since anyone can say anything they want to, but I think this is pretty much something anyone who knows me well could confirm.

So, yes, I could, but it would be awkward and weird for me to do so, and anyone who knows me would have to notice it. I'm so much more careful when bad, I polish my posts, reread them a few times, try to catch all the "becasue"s. I try harder to not say anything incendiary or that will annoy people too much. It's hard to fake carelessness, and my town game is more spontaneous.

Hmm... is this something suspicious from Scotty? Roxy implies it, maybe. I feel like he has been in recent games where this has come up and been discussed. If you look at it from one angle, a Scotty that already knows the answer to a question he's asking is a Scotty that is being fake... maybe a Scotty trying to subtly put suspicion Roxy's way.

Based off the fact that it's not a bastard game and the host wouldn't lie. The math would have been that only two players rolled town 2x. Then there's the amendment that me or Long Con could be lying about our second rand which makes the odds even more likely for the 2 people online claiming Town Town rands as extremely likely.

If it's 9 players of which 2 are wolves, then a minimum of five players rolled Town-Town. Maximum of seven players, if wolves didn't change. Five to seven players.

First, I think self meta is mostly pointless since anyone can say anything they want to, but I think this is pretty much something anyone who knows me well could confirm.

So, yes, I could, but it would be awkward and weird for me to do so, and anyone who knows me would have to notice it. I'm so much more careful when bad, I polish my posts, reread them a few times, try to catch all the "becasue"s. I try harder to not say anything incendiary or that will annoy people too much. It's hard to fake carelessness, and my town game is more spontaneous.
