@Justplayingitcool this is a reads post from earlier today.S~V~S wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 1:06 pmProbably you tbh. I see Halyn is taking some sus but they are relating to me the way town Halyn usually does. jpic and Falcon jumped right in when they arrived, and Roxy is playing an open game, which I associate with her.
You seem a tad more “throwing shit and seeing what sticks” than I usually associate with town you.

What makes my head tilt is that you said you have tinfoil, proceed to directly follow falcon with a vote on me, and then here you’re noncommittal with your explanation and even willing to jump off. Re: Guitar Mafia [Day 2]
Anyway, one of the things that I like to do is build potential teams and i know i know it's not a great idea without a scum flip, but humour me:
From my perspective, I feel like the potential words atm are Scotty/Long Con vs SVS or X/X. I feel like X is either Roxy or Hal. Don't really have a read on either. Thought it was weird for roxy to show up out of the blue to say the timmer vote was bad like a few minutes before the phase ended without there being much chance to change the course. but eh, don't hard to find any mafia intent in that really as probably best for them to stay quiet

Devil’s advocate for SVs here that that is how I usually isohunt, so I wouldn’t hold that as a smoking gun.Long Con wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 4:53 pmT-T. T-W. W-T. Fine....I don't buy W-W for them. If they are, then I'll applaud politely.
Maybe. Maybe it's a telling thing to be arguing, probably better to think that way in a game like this. And you obviously didn't search for "Timmerman", Miss Read the ISO... I accused him earlier than even the evil guitar comment.S~V~S wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 1:06 pm“Lie” is extreme, overlooking an OT post was more like it.Long Con wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 10:31 amObviously saying my first mention of Timmer being bad was the list... was the lie.S~V~S wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 10:20 am
I stand corrected; THIS was your first mention of Timmer:
A "jokey" implication he was evil.
Your SECOND post you mentioned Timmer was the list, where you had him as bad, and the third was your vote for him.
Not sure what "outright lies" I'm telling here.
The "evil" guitars thing, meh, I could call that just Day One trashtalk, but seriously, go look at your own ISO.
You still don't have it right.
Open your iso, and search it for “Timmer”. The first time you yourself mentioned him was in the evil guitar post.
This is a silly thing to be arguing.
Like, maybe a silly thing to be arguing, so why is it happening? It's a silly thing altogether, but you made it a thing and then neglected due diligence on my ISO, and Y'KNOW, when I'm searching for clues in an ISO, I READ the posts because context is ESSENTIAL when trying to understand the subtleties of a wolf's deception. Typing in a search term is NOT the way that one looks through ISOs when they're doing detective work, it is how a Wolf looks for a gotcha.
You are that Wolf, and you are caught.
I thought it was kind of a 'generous to the spirit of the game' move by the baddies, and I respected that. But now I've read these alternate perspectives, and maybe they killed a non-player because they like the way the winds are blowing. They like the gamestate as it is. Which could mean quiet Wolves, or it could mean confident Wolves.Justplayingitcool wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 2:39 pm Idk seanzie kill reads to me that mafia are trying to musdy the waters as much as possible. One one hand it’s good because that’s a potential misyeet gone but the other we have about as much as info as day 1
I think she’s being slippery for other reasons tho
“But now I've read these alternate perspectives, and maybe they killed a non-player because they like the way the winds are blowing. They like the gamestate as it is. Which could mean quiet Wolves, or it could mean confident Wolves.”
This just made me laugh because I think we’ve run the gamut with possibilities: ‘it could mean constipated wolves’ ‘It could mean wolves don’t like men’ ‘it could mean wolves don’t like people associated with gen “z”’ ‘it could mean the wolves are drunk and aren’t ready to come home from the bar’

If svs is good, does that do anything to Roxy? Or is Roxy a separate read for you?
If svs is bad, does that automatically make Roxy jump to the top of the pile?
Fwiw I think my read list is pretty similar to yours
I could vote either of ham or svs at this current juncture. Hal is just asking to be scrutinized and yeeted

This is a legit tinfoil in a traditional sense because I have felt him rather towny in that he’s been so carefree and it could read as a defenseJustplayingitcool wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 7:39 pm Part of me though does feel like scotty/LC have been aligned together for most of the game and it's been mutual to each other. On the flip side, I’m not traditional (except that I *do* hold the door for a lady). I think I would be more inclined to obstruct or bus a teammate

yeah im not really super sold on long con as a baddie because i thought he was slightly townie in day 1. If Roxy is aligned with anyone, it’s much more hidden. Her main gripes have been keyed in on LC and Hal. I doubt either of those would be her partner. Literally anyone else could be partnered.
Let’s look at the d1 votes:
hal (1):
Voters: falcon45ca
Long Con (2):
Voters: S~V~S, Roxy
timmer (4):
Voters: Scotty, Long Con, Justplayingitcool, hal
We know thanks to Seanzie dying that both wolves voted on d1. That’s huge actually.
Svs and Roxy voted together. I HIGHLY doubt the timmer wagon is clean with all 4 of us mislynching.
That, to me, tells me both of svs and Roxy are not bad.
I think there’s at least 1 in the timmer wagon

Neither do I. But if this is the final break of Scotty's town streak, then he is doing a great job.

Re: Guitar Mafia [Day 2]
I find it hard to believe that, with likely 2 Maf, they were both on timmers wagon. That's just bad policy.
Hal is the best chop today IMO. They've done literally no hunting this RD, and I'd argue they did very little last RD. They were around for EOD, but it purely seemed to thread monitor for self pres.
I'd like to hear thoughts on JPIC from @Scotty @Long Con

I just read over his ISO and I feel pretty towny about him. He'd be shaded a notch more green than Roxy and hal if I remade my list.

Re: Guitar Mafia [Day 2]
Just a warning, I'm going to actually elaborate lol.Justplayingitcool wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 7:28 pmThank youS~V~S wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 7:23 pm@Justplayingitcool this is a reads post from earlier today.S~V~S wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 1:06 pmProbably you tbh.
Can you elaborate moreon the hal read?
The second game I played when i came back from break was LGM, and it's the first time I saw Robyn. They were splashy, drew alot of attention from those of us that didn't know them. Then they did one thing, made one comment, that was my hook, I KNEW they were bad. But it was like having info you can't dump; it was a hard sell to the rest of town.
In a later game when they were bad, I forget which (Holes, maybe?) , their team was them, Neon and Mac, I found out post game that Robyn wanted to kill me night one as I read them well. I watched several of their games that I didn't play, and spent time focusing on them specifically. I've played several games with them, including one as a bad teammate.
Halyn and i kinda circle each other pretty much every game. You'll notice they interact alot with my reads, and ask me questions relevant to my read on them. I like to know where they are, relative to me, and I *think* they do as well. I think I read Robyn pretty well, and I think THEY think I do, too. As a caveat, last game we played, the Landlord game, they were a bit more overtly slick than I associate with their town game, and I was thinking they could be bad, but they were town.
When i wrote that post ^^ Halyn had not done or said anything I would specifically call out as their wolf play, as I interpret it. HOWEVER, since that post, rereading them, and this is a big however, they are being too passive to really fit in what I think of as their town game either. In short (and it's with love, Robyn) they're not in here telling us what to do, lol, or being annoyed that we don't agree with them.
So while I don't have any reason to actively believe them to be wolf, I would not argue against yeeting them, since I don't have any active reason to believe them town, either. It's a nine player game, I think I've made it clear I believe the wolves to be LC and Scotty. In general, if I strongly think someone is town, I'll defend them. There are two, maybe 3, people I feel that strongly about here and Halyn isn't one of them.

Re: Guitar Mafia [Day 2]
Looking at their ISO, the majority of their posts are from the extended pregame. They were pretty engaged the first part of Day One, then they kinda fell off Saturday PM.
The first half they felt clearly town to me, or at least not bad. The one discussion they had with Rox about my reads felt clearly town Robyn to me, even if I didn't like the way they were speaking to Rox, it was a very townie Robyn discussion and tone. They seemed clearly annoyed and it didn't feel faked to me. They were actually annoyed imo.
Then they kinda fell off; if anything they read like they lost interest rather than that they are bad. The only time I recall Robyn doing an active baddie "give up", they outed themself on the way out, they didn't just fade away.
So yeah, I won't be voting there myself, but i won't argue against it either.

sorry I have had a sick dog to deal with (he ate candy when we went to the vet he was given meds so it was coming out of both ends - quite the nightmare yesterday
But it did give me time to think.
I *know* I really disliked the Timmer elim.
LC showing up and suddenly people followed him for bs reasons (imo) and elimmed him even after he had at *least* shown up and posted.
Scotty felt the worst then Hal followed closely by LC himeslf.

Re: Guitar Mafia [Day 2]
You have never read me right in any game unless you were bad and I was town.
So for that I do think you are town here.
