Re: Severance [Day Five]
it seems really strange to me that 1 watcher can see night kills and the other cannot, that really seems to me like 1 of them is just wolf hereRanmilia wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 11:10 amThe relevant claims are as such:DrWilgy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 10:47 am Now, my holdup here that is a problem this game is that I'm by no means a mechanical player.
Does anyone see or can point out to me exact points of mech contention between players and why?
I assume they exist between Ted/Alexy? Does Leetics present one as well?
Alexy claims 2 shot watcher (no additional stipulations)
- n1 PSV, saw scotty, scotty apparently confirmed going to PSV (can you/someone from work thread check the order on this though? who claimed first?)
- n2 Long Con, saw no one visiting
Ted claims 2 shot watcher that "cannot see kills"
- n1 attempted Macdougall, was roleblocked (by WWA who confirmed this and flipped)
- n2 WWA, saw no non killing visits (WWA was nightkilled)
Leetic claims 3 shot tracker (no additional stipulations)
- n1 Bereft, visited no one
- n2 attempted Ted, claims roleblocked/no feedback?
- n3 Abigail, visited no one
also relevant here is:
WWA flipped 2 shot roleblocker
- n1 confirmed in thread that she blocked ted
- n2 she died, did not claim a target in the day, allegedly also did not claim when she was in work thread with Long Con?
... which all adds up to a pile of not helpful. Nothing in any of this is confirmed except possibly alexy seeing scotty, if alexy claimed it first.
Ted/leetic have put forth various arguments for their credibility but they are based on setup spec and circumstantial evidence, nothing actually confirmable or conflicting.

Oh I missed that no seeing kills part. Hmm. Specifically that you can't see kills would be a wacky move for a wolf to pull imo so I am inclined to trust Ted's claim more but I already confbiased myself on Alexy a long time ago

Be awfully cringe if I was wrong on Alexy and tutuu/Scotty were right on Dr Wilgy, haha. Yikes
Let it be noted that tutuu very firmly believed DW was a wolf and cased him bussing a partner in a previous game in the same way he would've bussed ilario if they were partners here. Scotty also proclaimed DW was bad. Now they're both dead. Coincidence?
...I mean, behaviorally it seems like Alexy, but if you follow the night kills you can't ignore the shiftiness in that.

The thing is, at this point it feels like the night thread is a shot in the dark. There's no consensus on even what the PoE is and I haven't the foggiest who I'd pick. There's still very likely a wolf from our team, and it's either Dr. Wilgy or you unless Cape really pulled the wool over everyone's eyes. I'll take the 50/50 over the 20/80.Alexy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 8:17 pmHave you ever played with me before? If you treat me as town (of which Alexy is the only one pushing against) it's also a 50/50 on my side. Still, I agree it's confusing and nobody on that side seems willing to congregate anywhere, which is perhaps the bigger issue.potentialsheltervet wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 8:22 pmThe thing is, at this point it feels like the night thread is a shot in the dark. You've been floating when you're here and I find that curious.Alexy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 8:09 pmAt this point? You tbh. The tunnel on me for nearly the entire game is weird. You've turned my lowposting into this case against me, there's really nothing else. Last game we played together you were barely present and you were town. You've been here quite a bit more than I'm used to.potentialsheltervet wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 8:05 pmOkayAlexy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 8:04 pmWe've discussed this at least twice. No. My role says I can pick a player on two separate nights and I will be told who visited them that night. That is all.potentialsheltervet wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 8:02 pm
Was there any mention in your role card of whether you can watch kills or not?
Who do you think is wolfiest from our side of the thread?
In any case, that's fine, but I don't think it's a good enough case to vote me off today vs. someone on the night thread.

Although I guess one wolf on that side is confirmed via nightkills, whereas two wolves on our side isn't

Sounds a little like admitting you know the number of wolves left from your thread, no?

Hm, do we think RDB is coming back within an hour and a half? He's still at no vote.

RDB is also kind of reminding me of Long Con when he was deep in the POE and couldn't seem to get out. I am kinda leaning Rondo angry town atp?

Has anyone not been working under the assumption of three wolves per thread? Dizzy jumped on this too and it was just as stupid

Family's going ham so I'm distracted and in and out. Jack is a staunch believer in one of the watcher claims always being a wolf (we are not in full agreement on this) but also says his wilgy faith is shaken.
