but havent once as town and not strictly because of incorrect reads, but other players town reading wolves and then just sinking town bc of their resistance to consider they might be wrong
i mean, you can clear me bc ive extremely transparent with what ive done, and been wolf-hunting; as a wolf, i would have just taken a step back and let town self-destruct and just ridden along with a vote for you Mac when you lead the vote poll with like 3 votes

Re: Nat'l Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
"I'd have just ridden along with a vote on you." - You'd been townreading me all game and didn't have to vote me cuz town died anyway.
"If I didn't want to save Rondo I'd have just voted him." - He was green checked and both counterwagons were townies anyway.
Like thats twice now you've defended yourself with "I'd have done this as mafia" wifom arguments when no competent social deduction player would do those things.
Which is partially why I'm curious about your skill level because if you were experienced you'd also know both those arguments are whack and not use them as a defense.
So it ultimately is a wash.
If I ask why you're towny I kind of think my only answer is "I'm not sure they would post this productively and be this dogged as mafia" which isn't a great argument so you should be solved by players who have more experience than you. Especially because you've been lock townreading me all game so my perspective would be manipulated to view you positively.

DM if you had to pick 2 players in this game to read you accurately like all 3 of your lives depended on it, which 2 would you pick. You have to provide an answer even if there aren't any good ones.

I struggle to comprehend what you just said but I'm past the point of caring about getting into a back and forth with you. I've done my best to figure out your alignment but ultimately haven't been able to ergo the question of who should solve you.
I'm not sure which part of what I said was "rich coming from you" or how what I said just there has anything to do with the fact your explanations don't make sense cuz I don't feel you (being a competent social deduction player) would have done either of those things as mafia. It was a compliment.
Pretending not to see it so you could leave your vote on Rondo is a reasonable enough argument.
No I don't want a fabricated lie. Obviously. I just want patience while I try to figure out whether you're being deceptive or not.

The things you are saying you would do as mafia a good wolf wouldn't have done because it would have outed you.
A good wolf wouldn't just pivot to vote Mac after pocketing him just because he has votes on him. Miselim occurred anyway.
A good wolf wouldn't vote out Rondo after he's green checked.

Re: Nat'l Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
What a good wolf would do. Pocket Mac. Steer Mac into comfort on his bad reads. Vote lhf Serhal but in a way that doesn't risk the Rondo tie turning into a tie with a teaamate like Pyxxy. Not vote a teammate into a threatening position.
What a not good wolf would do. Pocket Mac. Throw it away to vote him despite having great positioning and no wolves feeling threatened. Vote Rondo after being green checked and outing yourself.
You are essentially saying "I'm not mafia because f I was I'd have done worse things" but in a way that implies you think those would have been the correct things lmao.
And the bizarre thing is that it's the towniest thing about you.

How have I lost you.
Your defense for "I'm not mafia" is to describe what no mafia player would do as though it is what you'd actually have done.
And now in your latest post you're describing what you actually did do re. Rondo as though that's what you didn't do.
I need 6 beers. And headache pills. Someone take over I'm dying.

Anyway with great fortune two of the players out of the three appear to be mechanically town so DM just gave @Long Con and @Scotty the job of being right about them.
Over to you gents. I've tried lol.

You say back and let Rondo fall into a tie. That's quite literally what you did by voting Serhal over Pyxxy or Scotty.

Hmmm, if voting for someone i legit scum read incorrectly is taking a seat back, i think we have diff approaches to sitting back; again, great wolf would have just let town vote you out and not step in when i didMacDougall wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 1:37 amYou said a great wolf would sit back and let town do the dirty work.DarlingMonroe wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 1:35 amwhat? how?MacDougall wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 1:34 am How have I lost you.

That's not true. I'm not even wolfreading you that much. You're just not mechanically town and I'm trying to solve you by questioning you. It's more like a cross examination than an accusation.DarlingMonroe wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 1:38 amyou have just decided to not town read me bc i town read you, which is just strangeMacDougall wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 1:36 am Anyway with great fortune two of the players out of the three appear to be mechanically town so DM just gave @Long Con and @Scotty the job of being right about them.
