What did you expect instead?
For me looks like the silence before the storm and I liked what I read.

I expected some enlightenment even on a small scale I figured I'd find a town or two

They do this every other game and it sucks quite frankly

I just ignore it, it's white noise as far as I'm concerned. Not game-related and not alignment-indicative. Lots of people come in and say they hate mafia, lots of people come in and say they love mafia. I don't really give a shit, but I think making people feel even less welcome in the game just makes it worse tbh.

Sounds like they made themselves feel less welcome and we're just agreeing with them.
