George Cukor isn't an insanifier, though. And I think it obvious that people are being silenced and votes are being blocked. We can't say for sure If an inactive is any specific civ role (and why would we want to?) as it is possible they were NKed too.

I didn't want to default to lynching an inactive. I've seen a couple people suggest that the baddies are hiding in the shadows after vomps' lynch.

It should. A fake info-drop is still an info-drop. Since real info-drops are against the rules, any info-drop should be assumed to be fake, unless addressed by the host. The circumstances tend to be messy. I've used a fake info-drop once, and I felt extremely bad for doing so, since I ruined DF's chances at winning Monopoly. I don't know if there were any hard feelings, but I think I owe DF an apology for that one.

Sorry about that. Seemed like the right choice due to behavior and past playing history, but obviously that was wrong.

I apologize for being somewhat inactive rather than just quiet in this game so far - my workload has risen exponentially since I've been given this new, unexpected class at work (and applying for other jobs) and my mafia energies were largely directed towards GoC. Now that I'm dead in GoC and I'm starting to get the hang of work again *knock on wood*, I will hopefully be better. She says this as she attempts participation in Donner Party too...le sigh

As far as the films go, I've only seen four of them, so I'll vote the three I like the most out of them. And then hopefully catch up reading-wise.

I met Michael Keaton in a bar in Montana in the 90's. He was a professional drunk (you know how you can tell that sometimes? If someone is a srs drunk, as opposed to a garden variety weekend drunk? Until I saw Birdman, I was bored by all the awards' best actor nominations, because Timothy Spall wasn't in any of them. Now I'd like Keaton to take it. His role is so meta and sort of redemptorial. I still fear Redmayne might snatch it for his (otherwise laudable) metamorphosis into Hawking, but man I'd like Keaton to take this. It won't get better than this.

Night 3: Christopher Nolan Nation

Christopher Nolan looks like a former workmate and was known for his start in cerebral, non-linear filmmaking in films like Following and Memento. Nowadays, Nolan is a bona fide blockbuster director with such colossal films as The Dark Knight, Inception and Interstellar under his belt.

Nolan has had his share of missteps. Insomnia was a critical flop despite pulling high-caliber powerhouse actor Al Pacino. It was perhaps the paradigm of ingenious concept, terrible execution.

I've always liked that he has co-written some of his films with his brother and that he owns a production company with his wife. Keepin' it in the family!

The Prestige is my favorite of his films because I like a) David Bowie as Tesla and b) a film about magicians/illusionists. That said, I actually prefer the similar film The Illusionist (this is an extreme minority opinion).

"What is your favorite film about magicians?" asked Made.

"Who needs a film about magicians when you have a real life illusionist right here?" asked Llama, thumbing at himself. "Watch me juggle!"

"I might have a magic trick, if you know what I mean," said BWT.

"I like The Wizard of Gore," said the ghost of Vompatti.

Llama opened up the box and showed the audience. Blood was everywhere. The trick had not work and BWT was sawed in two.
