It's a wonder that some of these local settlements have even lasted this long, considering the Legion's primary deterrent (the NCR) was eliminated long ago. But Novac had scraped by with a local citizen's militia, led by its duo of trained snipers nesting in a dinosaur's maw. That can't sustain the town forever though, and in due time Caesar's legionnaires were sweeping over the landscape and enslaving whoever was dumb enough to remain behind. Novac became a faint whisper, and for the foreseeable future its chief inhabitants would become irradiated geckos and mutant cazadores spreading from the north.

Another lawless frontier town is swept off of the map in the midst of the mounting violence. The only memory it leaves behind is the dilapidated roller coaster gradually crumbling on the roadside. People rarely venture within any longer, as scavengers and vultures have already picked the place clean of anything useful. The Mojave offers no mulligans to communities that fail to prepare for the worst.

You have no special abilities.

Freeside was already a slimy shithole before the NCR and the Legion showed up in the area, but their conflict was enough to rob the locals of basic sustenance. Food, water, and caps found their ways into the hands of the more powerful factions, and try as they might -- the Kings were unable to maintain any measure of peace or livability in the area. Those with the resources were able to retreat behind the walls of the Strip, and the rest slowly died out with every injection chem known to the region still buried into their forearms.

You are Mr. House, independent.

During each night phase, you may elect to either mark, detonate, or clean. If you choose to mark, you will select any player. That player will be marked. Your marks can be prevented by blocking abilities. If you choose to detonate, all living players who have been marked will be exploded (killed). This may not be prevented by any means other than commuting (your detonation cannot be blocked or protected). You may choose to detonate multiple times during the game. If you choose to clean, you will select a previously marked player. That player will no longer be marked.

Separately, once during the game during any night phase, you may elect to commute. You will be immune to all night actions targeted upon you during that phase.

To win the game, you must be the sole survivor (or reach 1:1 parity with the civilians). If you reach 1:1 parity with the mafia, any remaining mechanics will dictate a winner. If the remaining mechanics result in a draw, you will be the winner.

Two hundred years of delicate planning and survival were for nothing. Robert House knew that humanity's best and only hope to return to their former stature and ascend into a future of real promise was himself. Without his guiding hand, they would surely devour each other and succumb to the hostilities of the wasteland that his compatriots had created with the Great War. And when an invader managed to infiltrate his Lucky 38 facility and put an end to him, he finally died knowing that he had failed.

Day 5 is underway and will last 48 hours unless a unanimous vote reduces it to 24 hours.

Well okay. Buckle up time. There are 6 players alive right now which means there can only be 2 mafia remaining. Everyone who could conceivably be elimination bait has died and so now we need to figure out who has tricked us.

So yesterday there was 2 kills and today there are 3 kills.

Yesterday must have been a mafia poisoner, and today was MacDougall blowing up Creature and TSP while mafia targeted them.

I think MacDougall's reads were ultimately influenced by who he had marked - they didn't want to kill Creature or TSP for that reason. But maybe that looked threatening for mafia? Anyways, my initial suspicion today is Chelsea.

I guess I need to look at Dunn cause I look at everyone in lylo but gth she’s still town. I think I can keep those two initial townreads. This is arrogant af of me but being kinda tapped in to the wider world of internet mafia, I don’t think someone I had never heard of before this game is likely to come in and just absolutely snow the likes of myself, Mac, Lan, Scotty, and whoever else needs to hear I think they’re good at mafia. Like, it’s happened before and if it’s happening here, I’ll be the first to say gj but I still think Dunn is town.

Lan has only pinged me that one time but he’s also still alive after being townread by like everybody all game. Then again, wolves shot 3P two nights in a row and we know they have a watcher and LC and Mac are weird af nightkills if wolves are shooting 3P by mistake. Lan was pretty passive yesterday. Kinda how I expect a deepwolf to act while town and 3P eat each other.

Lime I keep thinking of Mac framing the Like/Chelsea defense pact I didn’t notice and talking about Brad’s wolf meta of starting strong and falling off. Tbh, I don’t know if I’ve ever actually seen wolf Brad, particularly past D1-D2 wolf Brad. So I got Mac making a pretty great case….that might be entirely bullshit based on the fact that Mac hadn’t set Brad to explode.

Chelsea has the aforementioned Brad team equity. We don’t jive in playstyle here. I don’t know wtf townChelsea is doing to share like no thoughts with me this game. No smoking gun but also I haven’t really dug into her iso.

TLDR: Maybe we’re all just town. I’m gonna iso everybody but Manny just in case.
