I'm not playing silly games with you, I hope that everyone sees through this after I'm gone.
sees through what? do you think that darlingmonreo is mafia?
Moreso with every post. She acts like I didn't say anything about Wilgy, and then when I correct her, she goes to cherry-pick a couple of posts where I DON'T discuss why I voted him in order to, I dunno, bust my balls? Make me jump through hoops? What's the next step, circle around to "Look how desperate he is"? Nah.
from what i can parse, this is the only reasoning you have posted to justify your vote on wilgy:

Ah, interesting only 2 pages so far.
Hello everyone. My name is DrWilgy and I'm most definitely a doctor.

Interesting impressionable data:
Falcon and Jess feel like thread movers.
Cannoticale's interaction with Falcon is interesting. It show's a distrust of Falcon's Jess read, but doesn't commit to the bit.
Sloonei's present enough and observing enough to notice irregularity in DM's statement of catching up.
Roxy and DM's information doesn't leave much of an impression and that's of note.

Pending Scotty I suppose.
Interesting. I look forward to them entering thread.
Interesting...Dr Wilgy finds a lot of things interesting it would seem
I have seen this tell yield a Wolf more than twice. "Interesting" is a really uninteresting thing to say, but it sounds like the opposite. I gotta look at the poll, but I'd vote Wilgy over this.

Wow, so Jess wants to vote for Town. Good to know, top of the list after we all [VOTE:
Roxy] aubergine. Cannoticaleis right, she's a little sketchy. Possibly trying to set me up with that "so hard to trust" comment.
What makes you town right now? I have you as firmly null, & nuttin' wrong wif votin' nulls
No, you're right, that was too much. I must have been in a mood.
do you have any thoughts about the game yet in general then?
It is quite slow. Falcon and you have been the only players to really make ripples. I have run into trouble reading Falcon early in games semi-recently. I would expect nothing less than his call-out of our pleasantries, at least.
I do have a thought that I'm about to share in a separate post though. Get ready.
it feels to me like Sloonei included the bolded section about Falcon to make his post look more substantive than it was.
it is quite a lot of words about Falcon, but it doesn't actually say anything about him
i think it's important to give Sloonei time to get into the game, but i do not see any indications that he is town yet
I’ll respond to this in a few minutes when I’m sitting in front of my laptop. Too many words to type on a phone while outside.
The short answer is I’ve simply had trouble reading Falcon in all my recent games.
that's fine, but in my mind, the exchange went like:
Me: Do you have any thoughts about the game?
Sloonei: I do not have a read on Falcon.
Me: Why did you bring up Falcon if you don't have any thoughts about him?
I was trying to share my thoughts as best I could at the time. You and falcon were the only names that had made much of an impression, but falcon is somebody I struggle to read.
acknowledged. it feels like semantics for me to push this point further.
Ok, nothing is 100% in this game. I think she's intentionally dancing around and trying to fluff up the idea that I'm a Wolf with that kind of negligence.

your push on DarlingMonreo appears to be entirely based on semantics, and if you are town, i suspect that you are barking down the wrong path

I have been in semi-retirement the last few years. I've played like maybe 5 games dating back to 2021. Falcon has been in nearly all of them. And in several of them, I have thought I correctly identified mafia falcon on Day 1. Falcon is always an aggressive pot-stirrer on Day 1. I thought I had identified an effective meta read over the course of like three games over 2 years in which I could tell the difference between Authentic Falcon Shenanigans, and Phony Falcon Shenanigans. The idea being that town Falcon should be much better at focusing his energy and sticking to a direction when he actually catches onto something. But I have been wrong about him in at least the last two games I've played, including the one which just happened a month ago (Leporidae Mafia).
All of this is to say I am currently a bit self-conscious and in my own head about how to read Falcon. His early vote for me was standard Day 1 Falcon behavior. What I have seen of him since then has also been on brand. If I had to pick a side at this point, I would call him town.

That is a mixed metaphor and I enjoyed it.
much better than the original metaphor, if you ask me

Good Morning!
I adore a tiny game <3
Hope I can make 7 posts, love the player list.
So far she's at 6.
Roxy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2024 3:33 pm
Still nothing to really comment about I'll be around. No meetings.
Comments on the dull state of affairs while doing nothing to change it. Noted.

A dozen posts since I last was here hope I can keep up lol I think I am the only one that loves low posting games.
Cannoticale vibe about Jess feels like a motherly thing - yah know like you may not have a popsicle bc dinner is 3 hours away type thing. To each their own as I say.
falcon is falconing nicely so far. Did you like October London? I am genuinely curious.

Hellooooooo....... Long Con here, to waft gently into your towniest of vibes, settling into absolute... trust...
Ahhhh....
you are so hard to trust
And this is it. This is her only real substantial post and I can do absolutely nothing with it.

i appreciate the clarification. this contextualizes your comment about falcon further to me.
i will say that i do hold some mild suspicion of the timing of your original thoughts about falcon, but i'm not interested in pushing the thought further at the moment
i do wonder what factors are influencing you to say that you would call Falcon town if you had to pick a side, thoughi

It's mostly a gun-to-head read. But I can see similarities between this version of Falcon and the version that I helped mischop on Day 1 last game.

O-Town's population was deeply troubled about the new merger. Conglom-O and The Syndicate could scarcely be trusted to bring both prosperity and good will to the city, and the vile capitalists would answer for their hubris immediately. Rocko himself, the "nervous" wallaby down the street, was the one negotiating the merger behind closed doors. So an angry mob removed him from the equation.

Nobody could blame Filburt for falling sickly and crestfallen. It's hard to cope when one of your best friends is implicated and destroyed in a capitalist scheme to control all of O-Town and the Internet Mafia landscape. He will be out of commission for a while.
