So, what, is everybody just real estate tycoons now, and don't have time for detective work? Quietest day ever.

Re: Monopoly Mafia (Day 3)
Well, to be fair, most people who bid also all came in after the night and tried to get stuff going. You, me and Roxy. LimeC also bid, but he also posted. DM is currently bidding on something, as am I.
I'm going to blame it on the weekend, and repost my last 2 posts which actually said anything from Sunday AM.

Got in a bit ago, gonna read my @'s and catch up.
I didn't get doubles so I'll prolly pay to get out of jail today. I will be in and out, but I think I need to reassess.
I did get out of jail, I moved to Community Chest, got a "Go to the cheap neighborhood" card and I'm there now.S~V~S wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 8:16 amEOD yesterday was pretty chaotic. You were bouncing off of Roxy and her reads as if you thought she had info, is the closest i could come to understanding what happened. Did you think she "knew" Falcon was bad?
I'm not shading you or Roxy; I think she looked just as confused as anyone while all that was going on, and I can see Roxy sincerity pretty well.
Reading back, I picked up on the Race car thing re Falcons ability to make a 20 space movement. I kinda wish he had come back and just said it, and said it forcefully and repeatedly. I completely missed this and I would think other people did too.

I'm also curious how a race car moved fast...
Oh wait, I figured it out
I searched the thread for race car, and other than this, Sloonei saying Falcon sleeps in a race car bad ( @Sloonei was this a joke?Spoiler: show
Wilgy also mentioned that a race car may have a board movement effect, but his vote didn't seem to have anything to do with that.
Again, I'm not trying to shade anyone for any of this. It was very chaotic and confusing, and i voted for him myself for super shitty reasons too.

Re: Monopoly Mafia (Day 3)
But yeah, we gotta eliminate someone. 6 hours left. I'm having some stress and find it sort of hard to focus on the game, but I'll do some reading back and pick someone. I think Lime Coke tried to vote DM, but didn't vote in the poll? But that would make her in the lead with 2 votes. If she is bad, well, she owns a green and blasted a $70 bid right out of the gates for Blue2. Those properties have the most power, and if she is bad, that would be scary. Do we choose kills based on potential overpowered Wolves? Are Wolves extra-hungry for power?
Who hasn't bid against who? A Wolf probably won't outbid their partner. Maybe that can be a factor to look at.

That’s an interesting perspective I hadn’t considered, game play voting strategy based on affiliation. My concerns there are more based on the last EOD.

My posts are:
acknowledgement of Falcon being a fine vote:
reasoning as to not to give falcon a pass:
and then the joking/facetious post about believing falc when their response to me is 'I'm never wolf lol'
How do you see the joke as anything other than facetious when the two posts directly prior on the subject indicate my thoughts on their slot?DrWilgy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 2:01 pmI accept this argument and will never vote you unless forced to at gunpoint.

I am assuming it has something to do with him landing on a crazy face square, same as I did. Some kind of mild yet weird curse like my banana cash one.
And re bidding, I think I've bid against most people who have been bidding? I was a bit paranoid about overspending cause jail so i skipped some.

Re: Monopoly Mafia (Day 3)
I can see LC's initial hunting as flimsy while agreeing with who they think may be scum. 'Could be a negative bias on the reading but it gave me bad vibes in light of Cape's town flip' read as a 'means to be wrong' which, yes, town do, but I think more commonly comes from a wolf justifying their push. This 'Falcon is a villain' but 'I could be wrong' made it flimsy.Roxy wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 4:54 pm Because you left out this one:

Yesterday? So someone has a vote forcing power. I
Clarity; it isn't me. I could take money from Lemon, and I can learn what a game piece within one space of me can do, but I have not checked anyone cause I either haven't been next to anyone, or jail.
Since powers are attached to game pieces, not roles, it isn't necessarily a baddie so maybe soemone willl fess up?

Re: Monopoly Mafia (Day 3)
I will honestly take what you have posted and think about it Wigly.
I want you to be town so bad that I am giving you more leeway than I would any other player.

Re: Monopoly Mafia (Day 3)
I feel pretty OK re Wilgy, null on LCoke, also null on Epi. Maybe I have Stockholm Syndrome, but I feel OK re you and LCon, being alone in here with you guys this weekend. I felt good about Sloonei before the last EOD, I don't understand why he switched his vote. He seemed to be pretty fixed on me before that.
The person who has my eye most is DM. They came in here, listed suspects, voted for someone other than those suspects cause they trusted you, which always bothers me, when someone lays their vote at someone elses feet, so they can lay the blame there, too. Those huge bids are like someone who doesn't worry about being bankrupted by baddies.
So that's where I am.

I feel the same way about Darling. Those bids!!! Crazy right? I have been actively been upping all bids bc I am not sure who to trust- total honesty there.S~V~S wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 5:26 pmI feel pretty OK re Wilgy, null on LCoke, also null on Epi. See this progression bothers me more than the bids. Although they bother me too. 9:27, DM thinks maybe Falcon is town, but they could be wrong

Then 7 minutes later, they trust Roxy enough to vote for the person they just said they thought was town. Cause Roxy said so.
This just really bothers me, so Imma [VOTE: Darling Monroe] aubergine and then spend the rest of the night waiting for them to come in here and go to town on me lol

Re: Monopoly Mafia (Day 3)
I had a busy weekend that made me want to turn my brain off and not think for a day. I’ll cast a vote somewhere before this is up. I can’t promise that a single thought will cross through my mind, though.

I will follow you for now DarlingMonroe
don't think I did not realize about them giving me credit for their falcon vote. I just wanted to play a game with them and was so hoping they are town but they are playing differently than I have become accustomed to on the other site we play together on.
