Well, I'll likely abandon the mechanism I constructed since I believe it would be technically infodumping.

We'll just have to see how this switching thing pans out and go from there, I'm thinking.

Since dom is out, I'm torn between long con, sockface, and svs. All this attack on epig doesn't sit right with me. I don't think he's bad.
Why me? I think I've been fair with my vote on Epi, but if you think I've been unfair, I'll hear you out. Now that it appears he's moved his vote off of himself, I am contemplating whether I want to switch it, but I don't know -- I'm sticking with it still for now.

Why don't you think he's bad?

I kind of want to see who LC and Rico are going to vote for.

Eh on re-read (just now) you weren't as accusatory to epi as I thought. My initial impressions were that you had been really reaching in your exchange earlier, but I must have missed this bit:
MovingPictures07 wrote: Now if you had handled the situation differently, and actually fought instead of giving up, I surely wouldn't be accusing you of not baddie hunting. And of course there are others who haven't baddie hunted either.

Which I kind of agree with. So I dunno.

As for Rob, I don't think he's bad because he seems totally in character for Rob. He might have a better than average poker-mafia making him hard to read, but this whole nonchalant smarmy thing is so him and I don't think he's hiding anything.

I'm going to be heading for bed right away and probably won't be back on before the lynch, so I'm going to go ahead and vote LC. Doesn't look like he'll be lunched anyway.

Nah, I am good. And I think you know it. We can change votes here unlike in Film. But I totally dislike her analysis on Snowman, whom I believe to be good.

So this reaction makes me feel OK about switching my vote to you. Thanks for giving me a clear reaction so quickly :)

This thread is officially wat.

First of all, why are you all rushing to vote / un-vote / re-vote, with one day left, even if the votes are changeable?

Second of all, I don't think I will vote for Epig. I have no idea what he figured out about the game or about the polls (or whatever he won), but I don't think it's a simple bluff. Maybe he's Wasatch and doesn't care about the fate of the other Forces, with the prospect of switching to a civ in the future, but I haven't seen anyone panic as if I'll they'll get lunched instead. He clearly incited a lot of votes his way fast, but this is a primary reaction I won't subcribe to. Outside this conflict, I don't have any read on him being bad.

I'll probably stick to voting for one of the infodumpers, because neither are making themselves trustworthy just by saying "Epi is not in my group and obviously not a Donner, but my group is good". One of them also revealed that infodumping was his way of working his (or his team's) way throught the game, so that'll weigh on my decision too.

Ah. Again with what I know.

So something you posted weeks ago in another game before this game began was something you were cognizant of when you voted for Zomberella in order to gauge my reaction?

Talk about skillful planning.

Not saying whether I do or not, but I want to see what everyone thinks. All I have to say is that I've never seen S~V~S vote for a newbie, EVER, without acknowledging it.

This is such a weird game. Everyone has BTSC. No one knows what team we will be on at end game. I don't think odd behavior is all that odd, given the circumstances. I doubt a baddie SVS would be so careless as to act contrary to her stated forum philosophy.

I disagree; odd behavior is certainly odd. Otherwise it would just be behavior.

But I agree with the rest.

This poll ends at 7 pm on a Friday. I have a feeling not a lot of people will be around (party!), leaving ample opportunity for deceptive last minute vote switching. Very troubling.

Now that he has self voted I am even more suspicious. *vote*

Relax, it's only a friendly advice. Looking forward to hear more from you in the game.

So between FZ and LC, I believe FZ initiated the infodumping and it was more focused on pushing for an Epig lunch, but in the end if I'm to say I simply can't trust what group she [FZ] is part of, then it's also not really fair to make the assumption she'd be in a bad one, because I don't have any other read on it. LC then joined in, but his ways of revealing the mechanisms he thought of (and, on top of that, this mechanism being just a sort of infodumping) strike me as a faux pas. Voting LC.

Alright let's use logic.

LC is civ and info dumped
LC is bad and lied but couldn't have info dumped because it wasn't real info

It can't be both. So LC, who does not regularly play his game like that, is getting voted out for a mistake. Are we just going to kill a civvie role like that? Maybe I don't get this game at all but I have never seen a lynch train for a likely civvie take so much speed.

It might work in his favor if he unvotes himself :noble:

Agreed. I thought I'd see some insight reading through the thread why he and LC are the top candidates. It seems Epi's being voted for being Epi. Let the man play, for God's sake! :P LC seems to be voted because of (possibly fake?) infodumping, even though others have seemingly done the same, and given this as a reason to vote Epi (the whole "it's probability" thing). And now LC's voted himself. So many self votes and switches. Is there something I'm missing? There's definitely some weirdness going on here. Weird game. So let's make it interesting.

Let's make it a tie and see what happens. :ponder:

No worries! :)

You're not in trouble and no one's mad, don't sweat it.

I know how a first game, especially with mechanics like this one has  , can be super intimidating and you're just not really sure what to do. But generally, what you just said above is what is typically expecting at the time of your vote, and if you're not sure of who is good and bad -- that's fine. I just was really wondering what your thought process was, and I'm sure others were as well.

We are all ok

"They arrived at what proved to be the first of the main ridge, and camped at the foot of what is now called Donner Lake, It was raining when they stopped, but before morning there was some snow on the ground, they started at daylight, but soon found that the snow increased in depth as they advanced, and after traveling about two miles, it was so deep that the cattle could not go no further and to make matters worse another storm began, so they retraced their steps to the camp of the night before at the lake."

There has been no lunch everyone was too busy preparing their camp for the snow storm.

There has been no rotation. You have 23 hours to get your PM's to me.

I don't see a lunch stop in the roles. Call me thoroughly confused.

And I'll vote #4.

Only one theory springs to mind since there is no apparent lunch stop:

Epi is either Hunger or Winter and the "secrets" that he was talking about is that one or both of them has a lunch stop.

Hence why he didn't care using it up, since he'll probably switch out anyway, and it hurts the baddie team a bit.

That's all I got.
