I don't want to battle you. I want to figure you out. I don't know shit about anything. I THINK you look bad, and I'm hoping that further posts from you either make me more sure of it, or make me realize I'm wrong. I'm trying really hard to avoid tunnel vision here.

And the idea that we simply vote at whoever started the previous wagons, over and over, like there is some scum mastermind behind them all... I hate playing that way, especially because I vote into misyeets all the time, often being the guy who leads them, and it all ends on a final 3 or final 4 where people go "welp, DDL has behind all those misyeets, must be him all along". And they misyeet too. Because turns out mafia was never being any misyeets, they bwere just coasting, letting clueless townie (like me) start misguided wagons and quietly voting the most interesting ones.

I want to stop leading misyeets. So I'm asking for other people's opinions, trying to pay attention to other wagons, and trying not to be the top poster. The later has been difficult, because this game has been kind of slow and I have a massive surplus of free time rn due to being on vacation. I'd rather have a town that leads the game, and getting to be that little chaotic agent that shows them different paths, than being the guy who creates all the paths. Because the former is what I'm good at, not the later.

This turned into a post about me instead of about Lime, but I ended up wanting to rant I guess.

gth Lime Coke is town lol. (it's just I find he hit the soft spot of ATEing - "omg my reads have sucked balls lately I've lost all my mojo" - just enough that I find it real. A bit more and I'd just vote him in oblivion but I kinda liked that string of posts)

That’s not the only reason I pushed him. I felt bad for pushing him for inactivity and low motivation but that was the catalyst that got me to look at him again. I thought it could have been town Lime with irl issues and had to think about that possibility, but I know Lime sometimes freezes up as wolf and doesn’t know what to say.

Him falling off in content was what got me to reevaluate him, and then I thought that Falcon post was wolfy.

I think Lime Coke has a good chance of being mafia and I’m not sure on Wisdom anymore. She had some stuff I thought was towny on d1 but I thought her moving off Falcon because of DADV was off.

How is Lime not under the category of DADV today?

Just playing devils advocate, I also think he’s a hit, but I didn’t believe in falcon falling in that category yesterday (even though it turned true)

I don’t really believe in DADV, I was pointing out Wisdom’s use of it feeling wolfy. I usually like to stay the course on wagons at EoD unless I have a good reason not to.

Here’s what I got out of reading the last 12 hours:

-LC/LC is probably not a team
-Syn is probably bad, my bad
-that’s two people now who have called wisdom town without any context or justification and it’s rubbing me the wrong way
-Thunal getting flak as the crossfire option to Lime Coke is spicy, and I don’t hate it
-it’s very hard to separate the AtE bubbling like lava from Lime and the actual effort he’s giving to the game. His reasoning for his lackluster performance makes sense, but they can come from either alignment.
-I don’t know what to make of LC popping out from the alley to defend him by saying this is a passionate defense he didn’t have when they were last teammates. Like my heart says corgi but my brain says wolf
-le petit has a lot of gumption upon entering and it’s also weirding me out

I reexamined him and I think his agreeableness with immediately retracting his scum vibes on Falcon is a bad look for him, especially because Falcon flipped town.

I also don't think town Brad has me in his strong towns immediately. When we turbo together he has me in his town leans at most unless I've cleared myself because he's paranoid of me.

This is like 90% false. Any time Thunal and I are in turbos together I end up townreading her on the first page and yeah... the results are as random as MU's randomizer.

I only started doing the "stop townreading Thunal for simply making reads" idea kinda recently after I miscleared her for like the 20th time.


In terms of long form, keep in mind Thunal that game in the EM subforum last month I had you town the first 24 hours, but it all changed because you had Porscha and Gira going after you, which then Alexa started jumping in and at that rate there was so much I could believe in myself above.

Like if this is a turbo then sure I'd be more hesitant but yeah... this is like not understanding the situation at all I feel.

That’s been the recent trend and I remembered you being paranoid of me a lot. You ending up voting me in Gnosia stuck in my head more than the initial townread so to me the initial townread didn’t feel very strong.

Also I don’t lie about verifiable facts regardless of my alignment. If I was wrong about how often you townread me, it was my bad memory.

Me neither, I need to do a lot to figure out the game that I don’t have energy to do. Read Lime’s recent posts and defense because for me that reversed my read on him.

But so far, there’s a spectrum of players that I think I can fit a good grouping of people into and I think that might come into play later. That Ben diagram is WELL REASONED vs PERIPHERAL

I put the following people in my well reasoned side:
-Thunal
-DDL
-Spacedaisy
-SVS

And peripheral:
-Wisdom
-Syn
-moto
-Jack
-Lime Coke

Some flit back and forth between, but that’s how I view those people.

Now it’s probably a bit too early to be conspiracy theorizing but I tend to do that without any wolf flips. I tend to find the peripheral side fishy in my hunting, but perhaps I should go back to looking at the logical, justifiable side too: mostly because wolves can operate from either, but for some reason I tend to think them messy, like I can catch them make a gaff. But I think that’s a mistake, because wolves can very well explain their processes and produce a solve just as good as any town if they’re good.

So what’s all this to say, Scotty? U might ask. I think I’m wrong about someone in the well-reasoned column and wouldn’t be against voting them. But they can’t all be bad, and we’ve got 2-3 that I figure ARE in the peripheral that I feel like I want out first so we don’t needlessly lose a potential well reasoned town voice.

-the previous 2 games before then he was indie, and it's not a good example
-Don't Starve was before that. He was bad, and THAT game has 6 full days of him alive. His suspicions and posts were very one-note and lacked any sort of real oomph or justification.

All that to say, I think based on literally 4 posts, it feels like he's closer to his last town game. Can he change between games? Yeah, totes. But there's not a lot to go on and he is a leading wagon at the moment and I feel like I need a better opinion.

I'd like to add some of my input to this. First, for the Avengers mafia where I was independent, for the first two or three days I was town before "switching" roles. So if anyone cares enough, that would be what you'd want to check out.
Second in the Don't starve game, I personally think I didn't do much of anything and the others carried me. But near the end someone solved the game putting their text in all red, but no one paid attention. So I was told to lay low, well lower than I already was.

It feels genuine, even though of course I still want more
