LC Connection has existed since long before the last game played here. That may have been the first w-w LC Connection though. And we bombed it. Fell backward into winning. This is nothing like that, and come on man. Don't be boring. I think the Jack vote is much spicier.

Why does everything have to be spicy? I ordered ice cream. I don’t want jalapeños in my ice creamLong Con wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 1:35 pm LC Connection has existed since long before the last game played here. And further, let’s just kill Jack because he made Lime angry? Why is that post more damning than the other ones that have plastered Lime?

I’m just trying to get a more concrete reasoning in differentiating why. When you have a breath, do you think he is coming from a place of purposely trying to smear you or is this more of a reactionary place of a lot of people seemingly piling on you and you can’t come up for air?

Well, that could be difficult, because I'm standing over here on the 'Less Clear" area, where the correct path just might be, but I don't see the path over where you're standing.Scotty wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 1:43 pmOk so to be clear you are just doing this on a feeling and not a particular read?Long Con wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 1:41 pmScotty wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 1:39 pmWhy does everything have to be spicy? Re: Napoleon Dynamite Mafia [Day 3]
Fwiw I really think this game isn't that hard. Only two mafia left (and possibly 3p if they're hostile). I still don't have the energy to solve like I want to or any proper scumreads. I can still make an okay PoE by trusting the people I think are town and I have enough of those names that voting outside of them has a decent chance to hit.Lime Coke wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 7:09 am Like you're gonna be seeing me say this like a shit ton of times...idk for how long for maybe when I can get good results again, but legit I don't know what to do here?
I'm not gonna check isos because I keep getting shit results out of them.
Trying to read through the game but I read the words and they hit a wall in my head and I don't fully have any feelings about them.

which notes I’m singing at any particular time, but I once had a show where I had to start with a specific note after sitting in silence on stage for 40 minutes in pre show and nailed it every time

So I’ll take having good tone thanks

This reads like a vote she knows is wrong and she's kind of trying to anticipate backlash at the same time as voting him.Wisdom wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 6:55 am If I go with my gut on page 1, Syn's the only wolf that's been online.
Mostly because I recently finished a game with him where he was obvtowning right from the get go, mainly because he seemed to have a fun time
I don't really have a good track record in reading him though, but at least he's not as towny now as he was then.

Re: Napoleon Dynamite Mafia [Day 3]
Change of pace:
Just looked into Uncle Rico as a character because I don’t remember the movie. Based on the breakdown, he really seems like more of an antagonist to Napoleon than not, and my feeling is that he’s only made into a 3p because he is Napoleon’s family. But the dude is actively despised by Napoleon. I doubt he’s a town-sided entity based on theme, and I wouldn’t assume he would ever be on town’s ’side’
Because he and Napoleon actively feud, and both of them have *secrets* I feel as though they’re linked. It would t surprise me if Rico gains something or becomes more powerful if Napoleon dies.
From the film breakdown, we know Rico is a deadbeat trying to raise cash by roping Kip in to sell breast implants. Epi’s wording here is interesting: “Now you need to raise some sweet moola. You just need something like a nametag that’ll make you look all official and what not.”
Well, he needs something, and in the movie, Deb takes the picture for the name tag. It could stand to reason that he needs something from Deb, but that seems too convoluted to also tie into Napoleon.
Makes more sense for him to need to sell X number of breast enhancements to win. It’s probably like steal a vote or something. Could be unknown to the recipient.
Eh, dunno what I gained from this, but from a design perspective, my thought would be something like:
“Every time a player votes for you, you may steal one of their votes the next day. If you successfully use those votes to get someone eliminated, you sell 1 (or 2) breast implants. You win and are removed if you sell 1 (or 2). As long as Napoleon is alive, it takes 2 (or 3) sold breast implants to win.”
I dunno; something like that.
Tl;dr Rico is probably mafia sided until Napoleon dies. Probably. And even then, I doubt it’s anything good for town

This feels kinda manipulative to me. I mean, we all know civvies can be manipulative too, but, this feels intentionally manipulative to me. Also somewhat defensive for what looks to be a quasi joke vote to me. I don't like voting early, so i won't. But I walk away from this interaction with + town for DDL, and - Town for Wisdom

Re: Napoleon Dynamite Mafia [Day 3]
ok, I’m not quoting anything here but I just did an iso of Thunal RE: Wisdom, and damnnnn is it bad.
D1:
-defending all day. Starts firm, then is ‘town-y’
-I recall you jumped down my throat for misconstruing what wisdom said- so much so that you scum read me for it. In hindsight, that feels like a distraction away from wisdom and onto a patsy
D2:
-comes in with some suspicion of wisdom, but it’s softball. Asks a few other people ‘why is wisdom towny to you?’
-has Wisdom as one of three POEs at one point
-votes there, with a caveat of ‘I may not end here’
-soon thereafter, recants and says maybe wisdom isn’t all that bad, goes back to feeling town, and all but puts out that fire on wisdom.
There’s a whole lot of compatible partner energy here, and I would also hazard to say thunal pivots away from wisdom to go onto lime coke, making me think if lime is good, it looks even WORSE for thunal.
and…well…

I just played a game where Lucchese self voted and gave up as mafia d1, and the game before that Pizza gave up and lolcatted after he was top wagon but it wasn’t set in stone and he flipped mafia.
I wasn’t sure Falcon was mafia and my thinking it was weird people didn’t think that post was outing was actually wondering if he was town and mafia had TMI so they didn’t treat it as outing. I thought it was a good guess Falcon was mafia and it upped his odds of being mafia quite a bit in my head, but it wasn’t a sure thing.
But the seeds were planted, and I have this strange feeling you and wisdom could be a duo but I can’t put into words why atm

Re: Napoleon Dynamite Mafia [Day 3]
Yeah thematically I don’t see him with killing power, but more of a scam artist that steals votes. Would be my 2cThunal33 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 2:33 pmThat's pretty interesting. He does seem like someone who gives things to other people to raise that moola. Or maybe he even offers deals to other people.Scotty wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 2:25 pm Change of pace:
At least he's not a serial killer because if he were he'd be a pretty ineffective one.

Re: Napoleon Dynamite Mafia [Day 3]
The emoji thing was distracting enough I didn't really address your question.
I don't really have an answer to it. Wisdom was a wolf. An accurate "towncore" could be
1) Wisdom didn't think they were getting that much heat (remember, she was daykilled, not yeeted)
2) An attempt to appear townie by giving accurate reads
3) Antispew
I don't necessarily believe any of that. I don't even think the formation of the towncore, accurate or not, was likely in response to any pressure Wisdom felt. It would have just been a thing that happened over time because that's how towncores work.
TLDR Jessie what are you talking about?

Re: Napoleon Dynamite Mafia [Day 3]
I think resolving lime would be helpful. Because if lime flips wolf, I think thunal looks much better, considering thunal’s main POE involved both of them and that’s bonkers for a wolf partner to push both of their partners on D2
But my current POE:
-dunya
-lime
-Thunal
My current no desire to see yeeted any time soon:
-SVS
-DDL
-Spacedaisy
-petit
-syn
My current views for potential 3ps:
-long con (I think feels the most towny, but instinct says he would absolutely give mech advice as a 3p too)
-jack
-syn (maaaaybe)
Not in the POE yet but not cleared by any means:
-Roxy (mostly after falling off, this is not helping town if she never comes back. Had her as town before but I still need more for the cauldron)
-nook (others seem to town read him, and that’s all I got. He’s just kinda..there)
-Jibay (currently a coinflip)

I feel more confident in the link of lime coke before voting her, tbh. As of right now, she is the biggest talker and ‘town voice’ of everyone I’ve mentioned, so if we’re wrong, that’s a feelsbad.jpg

Re: Napoleon Dynamite Mafia [Day 3]
DDL was talking about the likelihood of a Wolf in that Towncore, and you spoke up in favour of no Wolves in that group. This type of behaviour is what I would expect from Jack under heat or close to it. The idea that a Wolf would naturally want to shift suspicion somewhere else, therefore speaking up to shift suspicion OFF players would be part of a tactic to appear unWolfy.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 3:05 pmI gathered.
What's this about not talking about towncores? I thought you asked about Wisdom forming a towncore (that I supposed was accurate) and why.
