Well mine isn’t quite that long. But this is the 6th (non turbo) game in a row I’ve been town and I’m loving the change from 2023 where I randed non-town in half my games.

Last game I towned I got misyeeted d3 despite solving the game, got ignored and lost. So sure, yeet me before I start caring about the game, getting misyeeted when invested stings ^^

People aren't accusing each other yet and I feel like creating a crappy case on someone just to get discussion rolling but last game I did that and it was too crappy even for D1 standards, so instead if got everybody to make fun of me so I think this time I'll just shitpost until someone else does that work for me.

Mostly because I recently finished a game with him where he was obvtowning right from the get go, mainly because he seemed to have a fun time

I don't really have a good track record in reading him though, but at least he's not as towny now as he was then.

Just looked into Uncle Rico as a character because I don’t remember the movie. Based on the breakdown, he really seems like more of an antagonist to Napoleon than not, and my feeling is that he’s only made into a 3p because he is Napoleon’s family. But the dude is actively despised by Napoleon. I doubt he’s a town-sided entity based on theme, and I wouldn’t assume he would ever be on town’s ’side’

Because he and Napoleon actively feud, and both of them have *secrets* I feel as though they’re linked. It would t surprise me if Rico gains something or becomes more powerful if Napoleon dies.

From the film breakdown, we know Rico is a deadbeat trying to raise cash by roping Kip in to sell breast implants. Epi’s wording here is interesting: “Now you need to raise some sweet moola. You just need something like a nametag that’ll make you look all official and what not.”

Well, he needs something, and in the movie, Deb takes the picture for the name tag. It could stand to reason that he needs something from Deb, but that seems too convoluted to also tie into Napoleon.

Makes more sense for him to need to sell X number of breast enhancements to win. It’s probably like steal a vote or something. Could be unknown to the recipient.

Eh, dunno what I gained from this, but from a design perspective, my thought would be something like:
“Every time a player votes for you, you may steal one of their votes the next day. If you successfully use those votes to get someone eliminated, you sell 1 (or 2) breast implants. You win and are removed if you sell 1 (or 2). As long as Napoleon is alive, it takes 2 (or 3) sold breast implants to win.”
I dunno; something like that.

So I read, not much to see, RVS and some yukking up. Day 1 in a small game, imo wolves unlikely to lead, better to sit back and watch the town wave pitchforks and torches at each other. But this stuck out to me.

This feels kinda manipulative to me. I mean, we all know civvies can be manipulative too, but, this feels intentionally manipulative to me. Also somewhat defensive for what looks to be a quasi joke vote to me. I don't like voting early, so i won't. But I walk away from this interaction with + town for DDL, and - Town for Wisdom

This was early on for SVS and was an original thought that could have easily skewed the base towards voting Wisdom. Looks real towny based on context and sticking to her guns

I could see one wolf there, because statistics. Two, there is no way. The fact everyone in that core is someone I'm townreading due to the previous analysis rn contradicts that, though. Maybe it's really Thunal.

It's also possible no wolves there tbh. Statistically.

-defending all day. Starts firm, then is ‘town-y’
-I recall you jumped down my throat for misconstruing what wisdom said- so much so that you scum read me for it. In hindsight, that feels like a distraction away from wisdom and onto a patsy

D2:
-comes in with some suspicion of wisdom, but it’s softball. Asks a few other people ‘why is wisdom towny to you?’
-has Wisdom as one of three POEs at one point
-votes there, with a caveat of ‘I may not end here’
-soon thereafter, recants and says maybe wisdom isn’t all that bad, goes back to feeling town, and all but puts out that fire on wisdom.

There’s a whole lot of compatible partner energy here, and I would also hazard to say thunal pivots away from wisdom to go onto lime coke, making me think if lime is good, it looks even WORSE for thunal.

Actually, it usually has been in my experience. I just played a game where Lucchese self voted and gave up as mafia d1, and the game before that Pizza gave up and lolcatted after he was top wagon but it wasn’t set in stone and he flipped mafia.

I wasn’t sure Falcon was mafia and my thinking it was weird people didn’t think that post was outing was actually wondering if he was town and mafia had TMI so they didn’t treat it as outing. I thought it was a good guess Falcon was mafia and it upped his odds of being mafia quite a bit in my head, but it wasn’t a sure thing.

I’d like to give you benefit of the doubt, because falcon was only lead wagon by 1 vote at that time if I recall. So that’s hardly a grounds to give up.

I don't necessarily believe any of that. I don't even think the formation of the towncore, accurate or not, was likely in response to any pressure Wisdom felt. It would have just been a thing that happened over time because that's how towncores work.

DDL was talking about the likelihood of a Wolf in that Towncore, and you spoke up in favour of no Wolves in that group. This type of behaviour is what I would expect from Jack under heat or close to it. The idea that a Wolf would naturally want to shift suspicion somewhere else, therefore speaking up to shift suspicion OFF players would be part of a tactic to appear unWolfy.
