Eggs are Higher. Chicken Ain’t. Why is That?

I have studied up on this some.

Eggs are more expensive and chicken ain’t because it is that egg-layin’ hens are kept on different farms than chickens for harvesting meat.

Egg-layin’ hens are much older and more prone to illness. If a mess of ‘em gets wiped out, it takes six months to a year to get back up to snuff.

“Broiler” chickens, on the other hand, they are young and only spend about seven weeks on the farm. Younger chickens are less prone to sickness, but even if they all go to that great coup in the sky, it takes less than two months to get back in business.

That’s all probably true, sure.

But I hear tell there’s a gang of misfits out there a-totin’ every egg they can get their hands on all illegal-like, and what for? Why, so they can “bedazzle” ‘em and put rhinestones on ‘em and sequence and jewelry and I don’t know what all!

It ain’t natural.

And it sure makes breakfast mighty pricey. Just you see here what they done did:

Hi everyone! I had a dream last night that I got the role I actually have, but then I got another PM in my inbox and it said that actually I was mafia and to ignore the other role. It was also a multiball game where I was on the blue mafia team and it had 5 players, and the red mafia team had 6 players. I was annoyed I had a town role and then I suddenly got switched to mafia but I at least thought I had a better chance of winning the game because of how scumsided it was.

Dey’s uh, egg salad, egg sandwiches, egg drop soup, egg rolls. Deviled eggs, pickled eggs, Scotch eggs. There’s eggs Benedict, eggs Florentine, eggs in a basket, eggs on toast, eggs in ramen, eggs in fried rice. You got omelets, quiches, frittatas, soufflés. When I was in HS, the local dollar theater played that as a weekend midnight movie for a long time, at least a few months. My best friend was like obsessed with that movie, and dragged me to it several times. Ugh. What a horrible memory.
