I didn't think Brad was mafia because of the wincon so I can't offer the derp clear Thunal was talking about.

For someone with Cape's experience to consider that role as mafia is definitely odd.
The CFD looked like on town from mafia perspective so if Roxy is town I don't think we have more than one mafia voting Brad, if any.

Things are different if Roxy is mafia.

The poll has POE names so it looks town motivated except the one who made it should put their names on the list and even then it's kind of wifom to make a read only based on that.

Like for one instance, I don't think wolf goes out of their way to seemingly contradict their POV like this, Scotty has been really back and forth being like "i like this cape post" "i dislike cape's vibe" "i like cape over here" and the whole thing is really messy in a way that I think just comes from town

He did similarly with Thunal to a lesser extent, though I had concerns with that Thunal sig and agreeing with it that I will get into when I get around to it.

I definitely feel like it’s mafia related, maaayybbee indy. Or it’s neither and it’s just game related, but in cases of mafia or game mechanics, there’s no way all 4 people in the poll today are town

Like: it could be a mafia gamble role where they put themselves or a teammate in the pool of players, but the odds are in their favor 1:3 if not getting voted. Especially if they’re a player not under suspicion.

This could slightly change if hypothetically they could pick a teammate, but it’d have to be someone who was already likely to get voted today anyways.

Does anyone match that criteria currently?


Flipside: if it’s third party independent, then they don’t care who is in the poll today (which could really screw over town potentially so it’s not my most likely reason)

So my initial inclination is to read this as a town ability but I also don’t want to discount this as a weird af mafia ability. I’d say I’m probably 80/20 on town/mafia ability. The other question is if it’s *linked* to the no-death. Seems like a pretty powerful role to force 4 people into the grinder without some sort of caveat. One shot? Probably, as this would get annoying fast if this is how we always operate. In that case, I’d lean the player can put any 3 players of their choice, and have to include themselves.


In any case, I want to be clear: we should not rest on our laurels today and only talk about the 4 on the poll

Roxy. Not seeing why she's taking sus. Not immensely on topic, but that's fairly typical of her. I considered putting her in the null reads, but tone wise I think she feels open and townish. I personally need to see reads to feel 100% putting her in this group, but I feel OK in general.
Michelle, she has that slightly srs bsns feel I get from town Michelle. We don't seem to be on the same page alot here, but we often aren't, especially early. The only thing keeping her out of straight up town is her not wanting to tell me what bad vibes I have without looking up an iso. I recall her doing something similar when bad, avoiding a question she didn't want to answer.
pyxxy is kind of enigmatic to me in general. I think he approaches the game from a totally different place to myself, and I don't always see his perspective right away. More than anyone, he reminds me of Matahari, and even having played with her for years, I would still have to work at seeing her perspective for the most part. So while not agreeing with some things he's saying, I like the way he's saying it if that makes sense.
Thunal I was a bit worried about her yesterday, while I didn't think bad Thunal would lead with a story about dreaming she was bad, other than that she was not how I tend to think of town Thunal. Today she came in and is closer to what I think of as towny for her. But she can 100% percent fool me.

People I could vote for; I have no real reason to think they're town. These are fairly tentative, I'm seeing more town than bad as of now.

Lime for me town Lime may not he a high poster, but he's a quality poster. He comes in, throws out some off the cuff reads, leaves. Not seeing that here. Least likely of the "I could vote for him", but not towny either.

Every time I’m mentioned this game it feels like I’m more of an abstract *idea* of a person and yall are a bunch of grad students writing a brief treatise about potentialities in my programming.

I do this often but I especially do this when I know another person isn't active in the thread so I can't directly talk to them so i more end up talking about them. But anyways, Scotty followed my vote on Roxy for unrelated reasons, as my reasons weren't attached to that post, making it kind of a vanity vote in it's own right? I mean there wasn't really a consensus day 1 at all (makes sense considering the context of day 1) . So him calling out a vanity vote is i guess kind of strange, especially when he encouraged that earlier in the day?

4 mafia and a single 3p with 13 towns is questionable balancing lol. actually no not really. i can't math. not favorable for town unless they have a bit of an edge power-wise, but that's ok

brad's role is immensely neutral and he can still win even after dying, which matches up with his air of not really caring about the game

why specifically brad was the cfd and not someone like monroe, i dunno. even if roxy / whichever person was a wagon at eod was a wolf, i'm not even sure if enough people were there to really get a feel for a partner being intentionally protected. it's possible, but just sort of hard to say

Cape, he sounds *reasonable* he's making reads without seeming to be worried about ruffling people. Can anyone tell me if bad Cape does anything different? I mean, if this was my first time seeing him, I'd think town. He's evolving while he reads which is a good look.

Roxy. Not seeing why she's taking sus. Not immensely on topic, but that's fairly typical of her. I considered putting her in the null reads, but tone wise I think she feels open and townish. I personally need to see reads to feel 100% putting her in this group, but I feel OK in general.
Michelle, she has that slightly srs bsns feel I get from town Michelle. We don't seem to be on the same page alot here, but we often aren't, especially early. The only thing keeping her out of straight up town is her not wanting to tell me what bad vibes I have without looking up an iso. I recall her doing something similar when bad, avoiding a question she didn't want to answer.
pyxxy is kind of enigmatic to me in general. I think he approaches the game from a totally different place to myself, and I don't always see his perspective right away. More than anyone, he reminds me of Matahari, and even having played with her for years, I would still have to work at seeing her perspective for the most part. So while not agreeing with some things he's saying, I like the way he's saying it if that makes sense.
Thunal I was a bit worried about her yesterday, while I didn't think bad Thunal would lead with a story about dreaming she was bad, other than that she was not how I tend to think of town Thunal. Today she came in and is closer to what I think of as towny for her. But she can 100% percent fool me.

People I could vote for; I have no real reason to think they're town. These are fairly tentative, I'm seeing more town than bad as of now.

Lime for me town Lime may not he a high poster, but he's a quality poster. He comes in, throws out some off the cuff reads, leaves. Not seeing that here. Least likely of the "I could vote for him", but not towny either.
sig I had him null leaning green last list, seeing other peoples opinions led me to reread, and it feels looking for a reason to vote for a person, rather than finding something that leads to a vote.
