I just don't see how the Wolves don't simply walk away with the game with this activity level. I worked into the evening today, got home late, had dinner. I'm going to bed now, but if we're going to sleepwalk into an MR yeet today, I am not going to argue because I cast a vote last time and it ended up bad.

What made you jump off of your Radish vote and jump to Wigly? Wigly was quiet - yes but that is basically it.

Like Falcon said, ties are usually determined with a coin flip. HOWEVER, it's a pretty common role among some hosts to have either a town or a wolf tie breaker that can determine in advance who win a tie. I know Epi and iirc DDL like to use those but I don't recall Sprityo ever using one.

Wrt to TSP's flip, there's a fairly common mafia role called a janitor that prevents flips. Often, it will tell the wolf team what the dead player would have flipped as, allowing them to safely roleclaim that dead role. It's less common on the Syndicate than it is on other boards because the Syndicate used to run almost exclusively games where players weren't allowed to roleclaim. Some games still include that and the culture of not really claiming or infodumping still exists. As a result, you don't see a lot of janitors in Syndicate games. Also the N1 kill wasn't janitored. It's possible the mafia has a one shot janitor but I would lean to it being some kind of thing unique to TSP's role or some other weird role thing. Doesn't particularly matter. I think its safe to assume TSP is town. The alternative is a VERY rare nonmafia aligned janitor AND it it a wolf AND the wolfkill was blocked or doctored on the same night. Plus, TSP just seemed pretty townie. For TSP, anyway.

TSP thought gims the vig and was waiting to see if they said anything but they never did. TSP also inferred that the vig could be a mafia power. Idk if that thought is correct bc of the Stump role for Wigly and the Vanilla role for Porscha. Would the town be so underpowered? idk,idk.

Speaking of combos, I am unable to play Marvel vs Capcom 3. My little sister ordered it for me for Christmas and it never arrived so the replacement just came in last week. In the meantime, my wife used some gift cards to buy a really big TV for the living room and the XBox and N64 just look like ass on it. This has slowed my Majoras Mask and Far Cry 3 playthroughs to a halt. I moved the XBox to the bedroom and there's not enough outlets even with the power strip for all the crap I've got hooked up to the TV and also the XBox. Setup is pretty swag. Probably just need a second power strip but I'm wary.

My daughter is super excited to play Marvel vs Capcom 3 because she loooooves Phoenix Wright. I think that excitement will only last until she looses a match.

I honestly don't know what Tony was on about with his mechanical talk. I disagreed with it and didn't see where he was going with it. He did seem to have more mechanical knowledge about this setup than me, being seemingly sure that the Pyxxy kill was a one shot vigilante. Maybe that means he did have a good role, which might be why he's dead regardless of MR's alignment.

My reason for voting Wilgy was mainly that the poll was sitting at 6 votes Radishes, and no votes anywhere else. It just felt unhealthy for the game, so I put a vote on someone else that I had felt slight suspicion of, just to see if some motion would happen for future reference. Sucks that he was Town of course, maybe if Radishes is bad then gims is his teammate?

So yeah, that didn't turn out well. But Mac made me suspicious so I put a vote there, because that's how we do. Follow at your own risk, I'm not feeling especially keen or confident so far this game.
