I think youre wrong abt LC and scotty doing theatre, it looked pretty genuine from both sides, but thinking its theatre also seems to come from a town POV from where im sitting

I find myself in a familiar position where I slank, I get PoEd for it, and therefore I am the first to realise that the PoE is wrong and wolves are running this show.

I'm town, and Gims was the towniest one at EoD2 considering he was one of the only ones to sense something was off and try to find a new direction, and yet we're apparently wolves together. Long Con maybe hits this category too but I think gims felt more earnest. (LC has deepwolf potential, imo, but I don't think that's worth exploring yet because there are going to be other wolves that should be easier to find.)


I can't tell if this is a low-presence falcon/jack/roxy sort of team, or a higher effort LC/KJ/Mac sort of team. Not saying those are the exact teams - there'd probably be a mix. But assuming 3 wolves in a 13er then at least 2 will fit one or other of the groups. I can't tell which, though. The first grouping makes more sense. But then sometimes you get to the end of the game and realise you were distracted by quieter players and missed the higher effort wolves along the way.

Falcon's voting around my slot has been iffy. He doesn't seem to have any conviction w.r.t. to me, considering the vote changes are frequent, but seems to pretend he does at times. His EoD2 pings me - I get LC and Gims sensing I was town and trying to find a new wagon, but why did Falcon follow?


Jack I've not really noticed at all tbh. At a skim of his iso, he's commenting a lot but not really delving very deep. I guess the same accusation can be made of me; I don't necessarily see anything I find 'scummy'. But he's maybe worth some scrutiny because I see very little to call 'towny' either, and that sort of in-between stage is often where wolves like to hide.

atm this is what my POE looks like. I still haven't reread stuff. I remember at one point last gameday roxy says something about a NK having the feels of macdougall. I think that's important as I don't really get the sense roxy says that stuff as s^s with macdougall.

I've been townreading mac throughout for taking very hard stances in the game, in positions where maybe scum wouldn't feel the need to. especially at the beginning of the game with calling scotty/LC? 'theatre' or whatever. it might be unpaired with LC as well.

now, the way I'm looking at the game, its very hard to pick a 3 scum team. roxy isn't with mac, and LC might not be with mac either (pending a proper read). falcon's slot feels very pressured by POE here in the sense that it's probably one of the scums.

I don't get what people are seeing about Roxy to have her in townlists. She's had some nice sounding posts, yeah. But wolves can post nicely too.

I found her progression on Scotty a bit iffy.

First, she posts her readlist. In it, she says this about Scotty:

On it's own it's nothing, but she says 'I see what LC is saying' about Scotty, and later, when thinking about casting her vote, checks in with LC again before voting Scotty:

Combined, it feels like she's using town!LC to justify her read and her vote. She's looking to the thread leader to validate it. This comes after an exchange with Scotty (notably this post), and hours of discussion, yet she's only on a 'gut' read? Maybe I'm getting caught up in semantics, but a 'gut read' is something you can't quite articulate. But she *has* articulated things she finds scummy about Scotty. *And* she has gotten LC's approval for her viewpoint. So why is it just a 'gut read'? It feels like a wolf trying to keep arms length away from a miselimination she knows is likely to happen. (Scotty being 3P doesn't count - wolf!Roxy doesn't know that and is looking to get rid of a towny. And town!Roxy thinks he's a wolf.)

If I'm piling on, I also find her whole rebuttal quite nitpicky. Scotty's opinion on her readslist being filler was valid, but she starts finding every little hole in his logic to prove him wrong. Wolves love to look high effort/engaged by nitpicking holes in logic, imo. (But this is more 'one extra thing' I dislike; town can definitely get annoyed and nitpick too.)

I find Roxy's progression to voting Scotty - particularly looking to LC for validation and declaring her read only a 'gut read' despite everything that came before - indicative of a wolf trying to nudge a mischop over the line but dodge responsibility for it.

reading up roxy I feel like emotionally she is somewhat more likely to be scum. she seems to be coming at radish as if she is frustrated with someone she knows is town but is stuck in a tunnel against her. the 'fuck it' part also denounces that: she isn't scumreading radish here, and the frustration spills to the way she is phrasing the vote.

Talk to me about gims, what's behind your read?

I could easily kill Falcon too. Throw Gims and MR and him together and call it my solve. Falcon doesn't arbitrarily throw my name in his solve like this. He's also not making a read on Gims which makes me think he's only got one mafia in his maf solve.

Me struggling to get out of my "just ignore falcon at all turns because every time I yeet him, it's a miselim" stage. Cause this makes a lot of sense but I still hate it.

I think this is all going to come down to kill equity. Like there are posts from Radishes and Mac that look townie. If Radishes is town, then my reasons for suspecting Gims don't really apply.

Is there a world where Mac and Radishes are both town? It would basically mean Falcon + one of my townreads or Falcon + Gims, who trips and looks like a wolf partner to Radishes, a townie.

I don't like any of these worlds.

If Mac is the wolf, is that different partnerwise than Falcon being the wolf? Not really. Maybe my unstated view of Falcon/Mac not being the wolfteam is too hasty cause its based on nothing but Mac being like "okay lets yeet Falcon." But like now that I say it out loud, it seems silly for wolf Mac to give up on misyeeting in Radishes/Jack and bus Falcon. It does come after Radishes makes his towniest posts but those posts aren't aimed at Falcon. They're aimed at Roxy.

Porcha basically doesn't interact with Radishes and only interacts with Gims once and does it in a neutral/friendly way, suggesting he sus Mac with her.

The majority of her posts are aimed at Scotty with a side of Macdougall. That said, Mac is a good enough wolf, I don't see him being particularly threatened by Porscha. Then again, who would Mac kill instead? I mean...probably me or LC? I feel like in this player group, if you were to ask "who is most likely to catch Mac wolfing and convince people to throw him over the top rope" the answer is "Jack of LC." Idk.

Tell me why Roxy is town? What am I missing

I don't really townread much of roxy EXCEPT for the way she is going at mac particularly. I think she might have a point there because of how my POE is starting to look like.

the way I'm reading the game, I think its very possible that falcon is bait. I think you and jack are coming across as particularly very unlikely to be scum. I think mac coming around to just 'lets kill falcon' lines feels more like agreeing on the gameday's bait, rather than mac having a proper thought in the game.

I think KJQ would be easier to figure out if she cared enough about the game, but I'm coming back to a simple d1 post she makes townreading mac that felt like an actual babaloo vibes read and not KJQ faking it as scum.
