There are six people alive. Failure today means five. Then a kill makes four.

That's one mafia and three civilians.

No elimination / Sleep forces another kill, and the numbers are one mafia and two civilians.

In both of those scenarios (1-3 or 1-2), a mistake is a loss. That means it's imperative to force the mafia to remove a potential mistake from the pool.

Quick addendum: If the final 3 is to include a civilian falcon, Sleep may not be wise. It's the best option if everyone is participating, but that's clearly not the case. Just occurred to me.

And when I start rereading posts, I go back and forth like crazy and cannot make up my mind on who I think it could be.

Okay, I've taken a few minutes to think. If falcon were good, he should have been replaced by now as per the rules. And, we have several dead civ players that could have taken over his role as a civ. BUT...since he has NOT been replaced with one of our deadies, he must be an active player without posting. Active as in...still killing. All roles are vanilla, the only way he can be active without posting in the thread is if he is the one killing. Am I explaining this well?

I went to look at Mac and falcon but both their post histories were crappy. I figured if Mac was bad then he was trying to coast under the radar, so I voted for him. I picked him over falcon because he was at least present.

I guess it depends on the Host to decide what constitutes "activity" enough to keep a player in the game, maybe just sending in kills does it, maybe not. We shouldn't think this way though, I'm pretty sure it qualifies as "angleshooting", because we'd be gaming the host instead of playing the game of Mafia as intended.

I will take the point that falcon's actual presence means that he may have sent in every nightkill.
