But I would be happy with a vote for either MM or TH. I think MM was in the crosshairs yesterday, and TH pulled his Made case out of a hat, pushing all of us who had Made as a secondary suspicion over the edge, and pushing MM away from it. But totally apart from each other I don't think either of them is up to any good.

I have to do some stuff, and I am exhausted. I will finish this tomorrow, Blizzard Act 47 is coming tomorrow, so I am all time. I finished most of my reading, and will think on it and put my thoughts together.

Linki~ yeah, see? I bet alot of folks, like Bass, were looking at MM yesterday. And did not vote for him (although the thread locking kinda puts that all into the what if category). Personally, i think TH is more dangerous than MM, but I do think they both are bad.
Wrong, try again.

I would disagree with you though about people looking at me yesterday. You were the only one who seemed interested in voting me at the time. I don't know why you just accept what Bass says without question. The guy has hardly been present, and has only voiced suspicion at just me. You don't even seem interested in participating either, and continue to post your little popcorn smilies while you watch civvies get lynched over and over again. You are extremely frustrating to play with. Your reads have been nothing but counterreads of mine. Oh, MM thinks LC is bad, nope he's good. Oh, MM thinks llama is civ, that guy must be bad (absolutely wrong). Oh, MM thinks Made might be civ, Made must be bad. MM wants to lynch Roxy. She must be good. And the reason I said your reread would be interesting is the exact reason you posted, that you will 'keep in mind' various things about me in a reread. I'm sure you don't give a rat's patooty what I've been saying all game, but I hope you've found what you're looking for to put me on the chopping block. /rant

My vote isn't being forced. I went ahead and made this case entirely on my own.

And if a forced vote role was in play with me, do you really think I would be allowed to make this statement with no repercussions?

It's a real specific speculation. Considering the role says nothing to make me think it's anything but a vanilla baddie role. If I were to just speculate I would maybe say something like "maybe there is a secret part to a role that's not listed that might do that." I might even speculate in a much more tidy way than the previous example. :P

I had a minor suspicion of you at the beginning of the game that kinda fell off, now it's back full force. Even better than before. Image

Not everything, just when you make specific speculations on a baddie role that were not even hinted at in the role description. I had all but forgotten about you, it just smells like a baddie slip. In this game people have been lynched for less.

If you are a civvie and you do get lynched I am going to hang myself. :stare: I don't think you are a civvie though.

Ok, but if you look at it from my point of view, the baddies try to frame me, and it's not totally catching on, so I watch for who tries to push it. You did, and though you say what you just said, that looks like you backing off. I'm sure you can appreciate that perspective. :srsnod:

Interesting development, so far. I re-read TH the other night, as well as how a few other players related to him. I was exhausted from that and my thoughts were scattered, so I called it a night. I'm still not sure of TH, overall. Call me completely fooled, in case he'll flip bad, but I see both good and odd things to his game and, more importantly, he's been consistent in showing both sides, rather than appearing to shift or slip/crack. I don't think I've heard from others if he is usually a cunning case-maker as a baddie or not. So it leaves me undecided on which way to lean.

Anyway, here is, in brief, my thoughts:

Not incriminating:

a. his not-good voting record; it doesn't stand out that much from other not-good voting records - for instance, poor Canuck, by comparison, is having a realistically horrible record, but I don't see much jumping on her (and nor should it happen, simply because of that!). I actually approve his idea that we've come to a point where hunting down just by judging the votes isn't conclusive enough - I don't agree, of course, with his idea that we should call off on looking at votes completely and do something else, until we hook a baddie. But I do think it'll have to be a combination of a messy voting pattern and fishy gameplay, from now on: for instance, I am wary of Dom's votes, but I can't lock a read on him right now; I am wary of BR's votes and her gameplay; by contrast, TH looks bad with his BWT D1.1 vote and his Roxy D4 vote (especially because of unsubstantiated reasoning)... but otherwise, not truly, definitely damning.

b. his case making. Again, he's where I'll eat my words, if he flips bad, but his statement on Made was more convincing that any statement Llama has built this entire game. Plus, contrary to what others think, I found out that his suspicions on Made have been consistent since D2, at least. Judging by that, he again doesn't stand out from others, like BWT's hunch on me, Bass on MM, and others.

What pinges:

his grasp on theories about extra-role powers (particularly for BWT, ever since he rezzed the second time in fact, but also lately on Emmerich not being vanilla) is inconsistent with all his serious, observant case making that I just said I kinda commend; it's either a bit extreme or panicky. Also on the panic side, I have my slight doubts about him throwing in the towel and saying he's been overwhelmed by this whole game. Not really the attitude I'd see a civ who still wants to find a way to win.

I guess I'll have to decide if the pinges are enough to lean on. Other than him, I'd personally focus on BR, who is not warming me up at all, but I don't see much reaction to it happening.

Also, searching (read: ctrl+f) for "TH" in other people's posts is near impossible, because "th" shows up almost anywhere

Yes, it was to spotlight your double-use of the word "Interesting". There are some baddie tells in the language people use, and I have seen it before that a baddie will call something "interesting" without qualifying it much more, so that word has become a trigger word for my ping-o-meter, much like the overuse of adverbs.

I did qualify them, though. The first related to what has happened up to that point, votes and discussion altogether. As for my input on that, you snipped it completely. The second related to what I was quoting.

Interesting.

Thank you Rico for taking the time to read through me and sort through all of your thoughts on me, instead of just falling in line. It is much appreciated by me, though I'm not sure anything can slow this lynchtrain down.

I'm probably voting for either Dom or Metalmarsh today. Both of them struck me as disingenuous in how they've handled this incident. MM was trying to twist everything I said against me today. Dom seemed extra flippant in his vote for me: he seemed on the fence about me, then put asterisks around a single word I wrote and used it to justify a quick vote.

I don't blame anyone for voting me today but I was also hoping for a little more effort :sigh: But people love an easy lynch when they see one.

Although I do suspect you I wouldn't mind a MM lynch today. He's been falling through the cracks for much too long.

I have to agree with you. He does not:

Now, see, it seemed to me that he was actually giving you a platform to sound sincere & impassioned, while throwing in a light sprinkling of distancing :shrug2: It was a good show.

/rant
He seems to think it is just me. I am going to keep reading today, I will vote for either MM or TH.

And how does he know Llama was a civ? We know he was not a member of the Brotherhood, but we don't *know* he was civ. Also, Dude, I thought he was civ myself. I think he did drop the death knell on Blooper, but I think he did it as a civ.

I can see how it looks that way, sure. And like I said in my original post, I don't think you would be that obvious. I just think we would have been remiss without discussing the fact that you were Llama's top suspect right before he died.

She's great! Her name is Mia Wasikowska and she was the titular Alice in Wonderland, titular Jane Eyre and a star of Stoker, Albert Nobbs and The Kids Are All Right.

She's been nabbing so many delectable roles lately!

Perhaps indeed :dark: I can't make heads or tails of you this game Canuck, I'm lost as fuck, just a turnip down on his luck. But it's quite the caper you pulled with me this game. You have clung to suspicion of me from the very get go, but you haven't said why you're suspicious of me since Day 1. You've echoed your own thoughts from Day 1 re: me, but never bringing up any new points. So whether you're bad or civ, I'm positive you are relishing this opportunity to lynch your dear old pal :kadaj:
I appreciate the rhyming, but there has been no caper here. I began to be suspicious of you after the bwt lynch, your responses to my suspicions made me feel slightly better about you, and the fact that no one else agreed gave me pause. So while I've maintained at least some level of suspicion of you since day 1, I have wavered and gone back and forth and have only actually voted for you once, so to say that I've "clung" to my suspicions or pulled a "caper" is rather hyperbolic, my dear old pal. Since my suspicion of you since the bwt lynch has been almost entirely based on that vote and your tone/evasiveness, there was never really anything new for me to add :shrug2: Sometimes suspicions linger even when nothing new or drastic or different has occurred, and in this case, the fact that nothing really had happened to alleviate my suspicion is the motor that has kept the engine running to a greater or lesser extent as the days have gone on.

I have great fate in the cast, but less in del Toro these days. This movie should really revert back to the Pan's Labyrinth form in order to please me. I don't judge movies by trailers (the latest mistake being thinking Inherent Vice will be waaaaaaaaay funnier and more animated then it turned out to be), but my only gripe is that it's a bit stuffed with fantasy imagery.

Alos, TH's Emmerich comment was weird, but I think his immediate "bwt is clearly info dumping and I'm bothered by it but no worries guys 'cuz it's clearly an incorrect infodump cuz I'm totes a civ but the ony reason he would go after me is if he has info but it's wrong info I swear trust" reaction post was even weirder.

And I think the resurgence in MM suspicions as TH is on the brink of being swallowed by a lynch train are weirder still. ;)

I think lynching either of them is good. I got a teammates feel from them, even when they were being adversarial, they were being sympatico. Like I said yesterday, it felt to me like MM was giving TH a platform for expressing himself, while doing a bit of distancing at the same time. Then TH made a remark about how MM is determined to misread him, and that was not how I was reading their exchange at all. That was why I put out the "popcorn" smilie; they were putting on an excellent show, and i was enjoying watching them.

I would say I was sorry it annoyed MM, but, really, I kinda wasn't. This is how I play, and it works for me :)

I'm not bad and MM is not my partner, but I do think he's worried about how he's going to look after I get lynched. I think that's why he put so much energy into gunning for me today. He doesn't need to be worried because I'll flip civ, but he doesn't know that :p

I voted for DFaraday for reasons already stated. I'm suspicious of both TH and Metalmarsh, but I don't want to be part of another Civvie lynch if it's wrong. I'm just not willing to follow another suspicion just because it sounds good, I want to go against some instincts and try something new.
