today I spent 2 1/2 hours after work cooking. I made:
Rice, with no issue.
6 scrambled eggs, with no issue.
I prepped an entire container of mushrooms, then decided they weren't good enough to quell my foodborne illness anxiety after spending all that time preparing them, and tossed them.
I lost 1/3 trout filets from it just... sliding out of the packaging straight into the trash.
I had 2 shallots. While trying to peel them, I lost one of them three times and gave up after the 3rd time, once it fell deep into the trashcan.
When I turned around from dealing with the shallots, the cat was on the counter licking the open container of now-cooked trout. Have to throw away the few pieces on top, so now I have even less trout.
And it ends with 1/2 poblano peppers having gone bad because it was freezing in the fridge, somehow.
At least I got 1 good shallot, some old garlic done-with, and good baby broccoli and zucchini for my vegetables, I guess.

porscha did #foodtells and can flip for it
I am now going to try to convince myself that you're being like this because you're sick, and not because you're mafia and it's multiball and we're doomed
Hi fellow trainer! I saw you from across the road, and I need your help!
Pikaaachu!!!
Did you say... multi ball? The only multi ball I know are pokeballs, greatballs, ultraballs, and the super rare masterball! Are you also trying to catch them all?!?!
Wait, now you're Pokemon?
I ever since I was a kid, I've always dreamed of being a pokemon master! And now I'm on that journey with my trusty partner, Pikachu! Isn't that right, Pikachu?
Pika Pika!!!
I'm a genius, and I know I've gotten my wires crossed a time or fourteen.
But this seems wildly unusual to go from wasting food to cavorting with something that could be food (and probably cook the food too, now that I've studied the species...)
So it sounds to me as though you got something wrong early on in your instruction manual!
I will move my vote to you for now while I work on these chili dogs....
[VOTE:
Porscha] aubergine

My new system, the RE.DD.IT4000, informs me that this "Ash Ketchum" person was a total disaster in the kitchen, which would indeed... how do the kids say... JIVE... with being a total disaster in the kitchen.
I will shake my fist as I return my vote to the fake, mother-uncalling "doctor."
[VOTE:

What in the Godzilla is this progression? Throwaway joke vote for no poster > legitimate-looking vote for someone actually suspicious > throwaway joke vote

Tranq is ao actually
He can WALK
I do see a stark difference with his approach this game vs the last World Tour game, where he was a perverted tube train. It’s so stark of a difference I just want to trust it this game
ye
gotta give me something strong
gotta make sure its your best
well I think I'm down to just trusting vivax, scotty and tranq
honestly want to townread duelist but her multiball point + approach to me felt jumpy yesterday so I'm backing off from townreading her for now
her leetic vote seems fine tho
nutella is finding her footing still which is pair of the course for her towngame but its early and she becomes obvious later on so im holding onto that
still not really feeling nicole, i guess her leetic sus is okay but she is reminding me a bit of an old scumgame of hers
game too large and i dont have many townreads
push comes to shove im sheeping scotty and maybe nutella if i feel good abt it
gotta give me something strong

Apologies, my friends, for I was attending a conference with the Academy last night, and wow, many, many great ideas and presenters. You really should go! Very eye opening.
I saw that Vivax was asking for a vote from me specifically. Not sure why, I don't think he's ever come by the lab, or exchanged ideas with me and my team. Apologies again for the late response, but the NAI of course takes precedence! Let's ehhhhh power up the device and see what it -- oh! I didn't expect sparks. Must increase the bandwitch capacitor perhaps.
There was a brief readout though, I hope it wasn't proximity interference, so I will [VOTE:
vivax] aubergine at this time!
Gun to head I would vote IHNI ayyyyyy gottem
It would not be DM or Nicole I know that buuuuuuuuut at the same time I could see the angle on either of them but I don’t wanna cause they’re the only players I can actually read, and I mean that as presently in this game and not just in general

and how are you reading them in this game?

Some slots like Scotty are really tripping me up cause it’s got me like “Yeah! A new Scotty post! I think I’ll be able to help parse him.” And then I’m half way thru and snap out of a daze
This is entirely on me though. Where’s uP or Enchant to say “skill issue” when you need them?
Having time to keep up helps as well instead of catching up constantly over morning coffee and dinner lol

Hello town i am Spurs!
Hello Spurs!
Which one of these origamists are you? I'm something of an origami master myself.
Kawhi made a snowball because we were about to ship him off to Canada.
I am of course Manu in that video, as the only correct answer.
Manu?
Can it be?
After all this time?
Are you the same Manu whose testicles I rebuilt so long ago, repairing them in my laboratory with utmost deftness and care, even replacing your delicate vas deferens with spare parts?
1) Are you post-restricted? Like legit unable to post normally? Or just roleplaying and you COULD post otherwise if you wanted to?
2) You quoted all the other game-relevant posts, but are voting me for polling about video games? I didn't see you give a reaction to any of my other posts
Scotty wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2026 4:44 am
spurs need more data—-the free-ness of video game D0 polling and vote counts is helpful, but don’t know if it’s a tryharding tactic
Obligatory explanation that I do a poll on D0/D1 every game and it's NAI. But I would point out that I have a decent amount of game-relevant content--do you have any thoughts on those?

Is this townread predominantly driven by meta?
I initially found her scummy because of the focus on mech from the jump (I tend to be much more of a social solver), but it's conceivable that's actually necessary in this game.

I don't even feel like LC has said anything about the game, just roleplay stuff, so calling that his town meta feels kinda premature?
I agree on Spurs needing more, I keep seeing the posts and feels like any useful content is getting swallowed up by the voting stuff, and I've been wondering if he's gonna try to dig into any parallels between games here

Sorry for the run-on.
Yes pretty much that. But in between town reading them and not wanting to scum read them, I can see a world where they could be mafia.
It’s like they’re on a scale that’s close to being level, and it could lean towards scum, but I think (along with my previously stated bias) it leans town.

You've conflated votes with reads there
And Trekkie's position makes perfect sense to me (as someone who also will lean into this). Do you never have any players you'd expect to feel more confident in being able to read from your experience with them?
This is the sub forum (the sit down) before this topic.
under this game topic is a link that says “replies” (currently at 340). Click that and you’ll get a list of players and links to their ISOs :-) It also shows the players current post count in game

I'm a little baffled that that's being taken as a "focus on mech" when it was really basically me going "aaaa mech is useless!" and kinda expected to get called out for trying to be a discouragement

Do you expect me to dig into parallels on D1?
Well you did say you'd take it as wolfy if we don't answer your poll...

I will be honest and say I did not read that post in great detail, mostly because I figured I would be unlikely to understand it :P
Regardless I've found your solving process to seem fairly genuine and towny.
