I'm heading to bed, but as I'm old and had some adult beverages tonight, I suspect I'll wake up at some point and at least check the vc

How come?
I believe that he has brought forth legitimate topics to the thread, that come from genuine study of posts. I also feel that his perspective is sound, as evidenced when he brought up the previous game wherein he was early-voted by a, ah, pack of Wolves.
Is leetic supposed to forget things that happened to him previously if he rolls wolf, and thus be unable to bring them up?
Yes. true, it is not 100% scientifically proven that this is not the case, but in my studies, I have often found that one does not often live up to all potential ideas that could have inspired the mind at any given time. I find it more likely that a similar situation would evoke such memories, where, were he a Wolf, the memories of early voting would trigger differently.
That's funny, Michelle was trying to convince us that leetic is a capable wolf.

What specifically are these "legitimate topics" you think he brought up?

I just reviewed their iso and it’s pretty empty of content for someone who is middle of the pack in volume

I thought this one showed real interest in solving:

I love nicole but I worry she is wolf just from like the silly gif when she wasn't townread which is not a good reason but I don't have much else rn anyway lol

thought whoever i was talking to about multi ball was kinda wolfy for suggesting there may be multiball which is why I responded to that post
I didnt get my answer cuz I didn't really ask directly enough thru my roleplay but, my concern was that it was brought up cuz they thought the person who scumread me was like, wolf, but also I was wolf, but for ?? reason they didn't assume it was w/w interaction

however the other person asked more directly and I suppose the answer provided that the idear came from the stark contrast of tone difference perhaps playing into the read due to potential multiball is like. good
I guess this is a decent looking post but it's the only thing of note in the entire ISO
I thought this felt like a real lament:

WTF is this post? If I'm wolfy for making that post what does it say about you for agreeing with it? [VOTE: Scotty] aubergine

Anyway still catching up
That he has nuanced towny thoughts rather than say, perhaps trying to point out a "contradiction" in order to have something to push, like wolves are more likely to do?
What exactly is the "nuance" here?
Being able to shamelessly exist in the state where Epi's posting does not seem good but also pushing him for it does not seem good, because his alignment is unknown
Isn't everyone's alignment unknown?

Not really

This is about how much I want to vote anyone in the game, since I'm on the subject

DrWilgy - uh does he even know this game is going? Even for him this seems like a pretty noticeable absence, I'd have to go with no for now because of that
Dubz - shrug
Epignosis - shrug
Gims - I once again veto this, don't you guys dare try it at deadline again
GoSpursGo - no
Jess - no
leetic - shrug
Long Con - not really but he's being annoying now so I wouldn't tooooo annoyed
MacDougall - um that's the pink person, I feel like there was maybe some little thing I liked but shrug
Michelle - eh
NicoleandDime - not really
Nutella - no
Porscha - not really
Pyxxy - shrug
RondoDimBuckle - hopeless shrug
Scotty - no
Tranq - no
Trekkie99 - not really
Vivax - not really

You've got a bafflingly low bar if you think that displays any particular interest in solving. It's not even explaining anything about why it's a decent post! (It's a decent post most notably because of the creative thought in the line about w/w interaction)
I thought this felt like a real lament:
leetic wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2026 7:11 pm gims is apparently the third most prolific poster yet I can't remember anything from their posts
Mm

I didn't like that it's trying to undermine towncore

I suppose it would be a bit of an odd tack for a wolf, but can yet happen if they're getting boxed in (as has been known to happen when dealing with players like gims). Remember, if it's multiball, wolves are gonna be doing their own legit scumhunting for the other team, so it's even easier for them to come up with real thoughts!
And of course I felt the same as I read this post:
And this is where I remind myself of what site I'm posting on

I suppose it's possible that Epi does actually need pressure to do things that could be readable

I don't know how the hell we're actually supposed to do that with the short deadlines here though

Im pretty sure this argument is invalidated when you’re one of the wagons.

Leetic isn’t the most exciting wagon here, but what content he has produced does not mean he is a LHF, which i also think is the implication made by others (Vivax). He is doing enough to feel contributory but not out there in the middle of the intersection. He gets lost in the crowd

I don't remember much, except the skill of looking like solid town solving. It's an old game
I am familiar with him winning as SK a few years ago in a 30 person game. Let me look that one up and get back to you. (I know SK is different vibe, as it is self serving, not trying to attract attention)

Looking through that game now, and found this as his second post;
leetic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 11:12 pm [VOTE: Epignosis] aubergine for the really lame jump
made me chuckle as he’s done the same thing to the same person here. This was 3 years ago. That isn’t damning or even a gotcha, just find that funny.

From my cursory glance in the D1, it’s a bit different as his attitude is a bit more in your face. I probably shouldn’t be comparing this meta to the one here with so many years apart and not even a mafia game. He could be a grandfather and hanging out in pickleball courts now.

I’d love to be converted to a pickleball court just to feel the bounce. Too many players in the kitchen tho

i dunno, but this post from duelist from the last page vibed wolfy to me in the moment:
Duelist Mirage wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2026 3:08 pm It's sad to see that there's a new post and refresh the page and it's just a second VC in a row :(

what do you think about duelist?
Good catch tbh.
Means he was bored an in an observant state with little pressure to find a correct read. They do already know alignments.
Hmmmmmmm

Could be. Will ponder over the concurrent red lights
Why do I even play this goddamn game

I am so goddamn busy dealing with all sorts of things in my life and yet here I am, constantly squeezing this game into any free minute I can find or make, because I want something else to focus my attention on when I can, and trying to solve a mafia game fits that as nicely as anything I've found

And people are like "wow how DARE you be eager for people to post things that might help you get a better idea what's going on with the half of the players in the game who are barely or not even playing and disappointed that these things are not happening"!

it's kind of a silly thought but i noticed that he posted exactly enough times to meet the roleplay requirement and then seemed to fully disengage and i feel like he might be more motivated to do that if he was on a wolfteam
To be clear here- rondo was wolf in the last world tour and he was fully committed to his role play and I think a lot of us just shrugged and said ‘well, that’s just silly old rondo, being bombastic and mysterious with his posts’

So he is firmly in wolf range imo

I could have spent the last few hours just playing on my new Switch 2

But noooooooooo, I've gotta stay glued to a different screen because there's a mafia deadline coming up in a few hours and I've got to do what I can to try to make the best of it that I can considering that it's literally right in the middle of my sleep hours!

thought whoever i was talking to about multi ball was kinda wolfy for suggesting there may be multiball which is why I responded to that post

Yeah and as a wolf last time I saw someone point that out and figured it was reasonable enough to put my vote on him D1 on that basis

He's done this exact thing of just doing some gimmick on D1 every time I've seen him play and it is not at all helpful for figuring him out here and all I can figure to do is wait to hold his feet to the fire if it doesn't change before too much longer

Gims following me and Jess could be re-creatable as his town game we just saw last game, but I’m choosing town with lack of time and sick.
DM vetoing gims as D1 is directly in line with town DM last game too lol
