Yes, exactly. If people think you're bad from reading your posts, you can't convince them you're good by asking them to read those same posts. You have to build trust through your actions, specifically, finding and lynching baddies. Eloh's attack on you and Black Rock came across as halfhearted and desperate. I'm not buying it at all, although that doesn't mean I think you are good.FZ. wrote: linki: Good offense as in "good" not crappy, right?

Misa can be killed by Light, except if for more secrets on that or if they establish BTSC so that Light doesn't target her by accident.
Higuchi cannot be killed until receiving DN.
Mikami can be killed by anyone possessing a DN.

The shitty thing is that if- if- someone convinces others to vote elsewhere today, and that lynch yields unfavorable results, the mentality will be "See, we should have lynched Eloh." And then the eye will be on the person who convinced others to vote elsewhere.
Very little incentive for anyone to make a big push elsewhere today.

One more defense I thought of just now. Most of you know how I play Mafia. Don't you think if I were a kira sympathizer I would play it cool and quiet like so many other players are in this game? Especially since as a kira sympathizer I would at least start out with no BTSC. Why would I be so vocal if I were not a detective. Talking only puts attention onto myself.

I don't think she's bad, and even if she is, she's not a direct threat or of central importance (according to L).AceofSpaces wrote:Do you think Elohcin is innocent, Epi?
Part of her defense is literally listing how many times people have posted. That's one rank above copying into the thread what was in this morning's newspaper.

No, I meant a pissing match with everybody else in this. Nobody really cares how many times you posted. I mean, Jesus, look at Russ.Elohcin wrote:I thought you meant a pissing match with llama. Re: Death Note Mafia [DAY 5]
well...then players are just trying to pick me apart when there is nothing really there. I don't know how to come at that. Do I yell and scream and curse you all? Of course not. If I were in your situation, I would have to think long and hard. But, please people....don't call me out on things that really aren't there just because finding a reason to vote for me is what is best for you personally. Think about what is good for the whole group of detectives.

MM, why did you say that DH's theory about the Death Note being passed was surprising?

I don't think Light would give up the kill if he wasn't under pressure. Sure he would become invincible, but he loses control of achieving his win condition.Turnip Head wrote:MM, why did you say that DH's theory about the Death Note being passed was surprising?
Aside from Made or maybe FZ, I can't think of anyone who's received that kind of pressure lately.

I've sure been under that kind of pressure recently. Odd that you would leave me out of that category.

Because Light is probably sitting back and playing from the sidelines. You are not.Turnip Head wrote:Why not, if I may ask?
Can you think of a good reason why Light would want to give up the notebook (unless he had to because he was under a lot of pressure)?
