Sophie, you keep saying you've been role hinting, but I've read through your posts and can't find anything I'd consider a role hint.....just a bunch of "gee whiz, guys, why haven't you picked up my role hints?"

This sort of vagueness makes me think you're a baddie clutching at straws. No one else has role hinted in this game other than Eloh as far as I can tell. The people who I have pencilled in for roles are there because of actions and speculation, not role hints.

I honestly don't believe you HAVE been hinting. I just think you want us to believe you have so we get scared and don't lynch you. :nicenod:

I'm not sure you're a baddie, but at this moment you seem equally as good an option as bea or rabbit, and more people that I trust suspect you, so I'm willing to put your threats to the test and see what happens when we lynch you. We've still got numbers on our side, so while it will suck to draw this game out any longer, I'm not panicking quite yet.

About mp, i just dont know what role you have all linked him to, so of course im gonna have doubts.
Fs, im not sure about anyrhing! Like i said, i wish i had a 90 percent baddie feel in anyone, but i dont.

Fs, if i were a baddie, wouldnt i be trying hard to bring you another supposed baddie to lynxh ibstead of me? Wouldnt i be more adamant, more sure? Why would i be defending rabbit when a lot of people were thinking in vote for him?

I would just shut up and let the thread go it course and let people vote rabbit, what do i care if im supposedly the last baddie?

Why would i put myself in the spotlight telling people rabbit is a civ? Why would i post that much tonight abd today when i can just lay low? Why would i commit myself to answer all questions or suspicions you have against me instead of let them wash away naturally while i lay low?

Why would i want this attention on me ?

It wasnt hinting or obvious, at all. Im gone lay out abd said it: in the beggining, when golden was after me, i hinted at my role being important "you will feel really bad when my role is revealed" or so. Of course thats barely hinting, but maybe NOW, considering the roles we KNOW are alive, i thought naybe someone will put 2 and 2 together.

Also, i said more than once that i was sure that niju is bad. That could qualify as hinting

Sophie you started this with the role thing. I didn't ask you to hint at anything. I dont see what role you are claiming and baddies tend to hint with the "I'm important" vagueness

Fs, please bring light to your post about me claiming a role im not, cause that is very dangerous.

I know i will be instantly voting someone if somrone who i think is civ said they are lying about their role. Specially at this point when we are all lost. Please say somethinh about that and give me the opportunity to clarify this cause you are single handedly gonna get me lynxhed.

What role im claming that belongs to someone else?

Adding to that, its 1 42 pm here in ba and the bank closes at 3 and i really have to go pay some urgent bills that are due today.

So, i ask snyone who is thinking voting for me to be patient and wait for 1 hour- 1 hour and a half, and ilmanswer any question.

I dont know what fs thought i said, but she is not giving me the opportunity to defend myself and i gotta run now.

Could you guys hold your vote for around one hour? Ill be back and explain myself in around one hour.

Sohpie, I am not going to post the role in the thread. I'm not going to out myself and I don't want to keep drawing attention to everyones civvie abilities. Everyone can make their own conclusions based off what has been presented in the thread.
I probably shouldn't have been so impulsive, but you will understand why after the game. I probably would have voted for you no matter what. I feel more suspicious of you over rabbit even without the possible role thing

Wow, that was a weird catchup. I will admit to still being mentally and emotionally overexhausted due to recent events in my life all around (hosting Death Note, starting a new game, microeconomic theory midterm, being away from my fiance, and just other PhD work in general), so don't expect any amazing revelations from me, but nonetheless I do have some thoughts.

Here are my thoughts:

- From a behavior standpoint, only taking into account a player's behavior in THIS game and no preconceived notions attached to that player based on what I or someone else knows about them, Sophie and bea are most suspect to me.

- I think the strongest arguments made this past cycle or so are against Sophie by Lena (and they mimic concerns I had about her earlier in the game, and dropped only because people were saying her baddie game is characteristically different), but I do think bea fits a profile that Canuck was saying of the last baddie that doesn't deserve the win... and while I'm not convinced either is true, they are where I most feel comfortable putting my votes. I do think Sophie's indignant behavior strikes me as either a frustrated civilian or a frustrated baddie, and frankly I can't discern which it is, so I'm not sure I buy Canuck's argument that a baddie wouldn't act indignant, especially in these current circumstances.

- Now with that said, considering behavior, preconceived notions of knowing certain members, what other members have told me is historically indicative of other members' playstyles, and assuming no drastic meta changes in anyone's playstyles based on those assumptions, rabbit is most suspect to me. But personally, he's been reading civilian to me for the first half of the game, with the second half just me thinking ?????.

- I understand the paranoia regarding me, but I hope those who have put their trust me evaluate why they have done so and the circumstances in which they had done so, and realize that the circumstances were logical. I've been risky, although certainly I could have played this all even more risky, which I think is why there is some miscommunication among certain members, but overall I think it's paid off to the civilians' benefit. I really don't want to infodump or do anything like that, so I hope this is sufficient. I know I caught a lot of heat early on in the game, but I believe I've been trying my best all game to genuinely baddie hunt and I'm glad some of you have recognized that over time.

If I had to make one of those "propensity to lynch" (PTL) lists:
1) Sophie
2) bea
3) rabbit
4) Lena
5) Canucklehead
6) fingersplints
7) blindfaeth
8) MP

But my PTL for 5-7 is pretty low, unless I'm really getting played the long con by one of them. I really doubt it.

:sigh: I think honestly that rabbit, bea, and Sophie might all have to be lynched in turn until we get the baddie, because I cannot decide on which one is more likely bad. I think there are compelling reasons for each one of them to be civ, and circumstanial evidence for each one of them to be bad.

I think we're just going to have to lynch one of them, see what happens, hope we survive the night (which may give us more info, I would think?!), lynch the next one, then if the game STILL doesn't end, hope that Herman can finish it off for us.......providing, of course, that we haven't lynched Herman in the process.

With that said, I think I'm currently torn between bea and rabbit, while Sophie is seeming more genuine to me. I think she and fs are kinda talking about different roles....

Canuck, if its the same for you to lynch bea, rabbit or me, can you have a leap of faith and believe me in this? im not bad. rabbit is not bad. vote for bea, ill vote for bea too. we have a bigger chance to nail a baddie that way, believe me :nicenod: .

And im not like bea who thinks i dont deserve to be here, you know what? i DO deserve it, i might have not been the best civvie or nowhere near as helpful as i can be but i HAVE BEEN HELPING THE CIVVIES in one way thats not apparent in the thread but will be once im dead or this game is over. I HAVE BEEN helping, and i can continue to help if im left alive.

I swear im good.

And i said the role hinting thing cause you guys were saying that, despitethat logic indicated i was civvie, you would vote for me cause you didnt have pegged me as any role. And i thought someone would have related me to my role already, thats what i talked about the hints, you guys started it with the role pegging stuff, and i could go on and on hinting who i am but i dont wanna break the roles or anything, just telling you please believe m im civvie.

I'm sorry, Sophie, if you really are civilian, but my reasons for having you 1 on my suspect list currently are as follows:
- You have been inconsistent in your suspicions (most notably your suspicion of me and of your stance on low posters)
- Your first vote for Bass and insistence that Blooper were bad, even though it even still seems possible and likely to me, do indicate a possibility that you were trying to take advantage of the Bass slip, and I think that if anyone was trying to do so of the players that remain, that you doing so makes the most logical sense to me
- A propensity for me to trust those in the 4-7 slots of my list more than the rest of you (thereby only giving you 3 slots to fill, 1-3)
- Your aggressive behavior recently, as if to suggest that you're fighting tooth and nail because you are the last remaining baddie or the one of two last remaining baddies, and you have seemed incredibly panicked (although I recognize this behavior could just as easily be explained by civilian behavior)
- Your recent attempts to heavily hint as though everyone should know your role have been completely lost on me, and could be seen as a way to desperately divert attention elsewhere

None of that, even combined, really convinces me you are bad, so that's why I've not voted for you just yet. I really don't know. But those are possible reasons in my mind that tell me you could be a baddie this game.

I'd like to hear the opinions of what everyone else is thinking too, as a more recent update, even if they have given their feelings previously in the day, because I echo the sentiment of Canuck that we should at least mostly vote together on an option, and see where it takes us.

I'll be busy this evening, but I should have time to pop back in here within the next few hours, so I'll be out of here for now but will come back at some point to cast my vote.

Ok, fair enough mp. All i can say it that those doubts that indicate a civvie could also do all the things i did, those doubts are the truth. I really am not bad.

Mp, fs, could you tell me, if im bad, why did i said rabbit was civvie and draw all the attention to myself?

Why would a last baddie be defending another poster? After the llama lynch, rabbit was looking sudpicion, even he said that, so why on earth would i came and defend him when hes not here and draw all attention to myself?

Please think about that

I already explained why you would do that. As a baddie you would know rabbit is a civvie, therefore when he was lynched (which it looked like he might be as you just said yourself) you would look good.

The last words BR posted before she was killed were she needed to look at Sophie more:

juliets also expressed concern over Sophie the day before she was killed:

MP, I was considering Canuck for that post she posted with all the names and then the summary sentence. I thought it was very odd that she didn't offer her opinion on those people, since she obviously paid enough attention to shortly sum up. I'll try to find the post. I have got to look back at her posts since then to see if I feel the same way you do.

Sophie seems a little low for normal Sophie. The civ Sophie that I know is out in the thread whoopin' and hollerin' about her suspects. She is very animated. I have not seen that here but I wonder if that's because she's been sick. I agree that I did not expect her to vote for you last cycle.

I haven't had the same vibes about BF as you have. He looks civ to me right now.

My leading suspect is Canuck but I'm going to do a re-read now to see if that still holds.
I read Dom too, but those 4 posts told me nothing.

No, i said the rabbit thing after night ended (have my reasons) when lena was doing a case on me. My procces of thought is this one: lena (golden) will convince everyone im bad cause i know how great of a player he is. Look what happened with aces, and with llama (me and rabbit accusing him for days, and when golden finally later started going after llama, everyone followed him). I know how people follow him and i understand why. So i thought: if they lynch me theyll know who i am and wont lynch him next.

Reread the post when i started saying the rabbit thing: i was thinking I was gonna get lynched!!!

Please read those posts and youll see im not lying

It wouldn't matter when you said rabbit was a civvie. If you were bad you would have known he had to have been civvie since the only indy got lynched days ago.

Sophie wrote:Golden, you are 100 percent wrong about me. But if you guys wanna follow him and lynch me, that is ok.

But, when i die and my role is revealed, please remember this: rabbi aint bad, do not lynch him.

The bad is either bea or mp. Hell, it could be any odmf the other 3 civvies i believed to be civvies almost all game (fs, bf, canuck).

Please remember this when im lynched and do not lynch rabbit.

I know my lynch would be worth, cause you all know that you dont have to lynch rabbit and youll put two and two together and find other things as well.

Im usually are a good civvie with good insincts but havent been in this game. So, by lynching me ill achieve more than ill probably achieve alive. But i cant go down without trying to help civvies as much as i can and that is: dont lynch rabbit. Look the baddie among the others.

Hope im doing good with this, but i really dont mind dying if i can help civvies win this. And i rather be kymched so everyone know who i was :srsnod: .

Look, fs, this is the first post after nightime in where i started seriously backing up rabbit as civvie. before that i was completely lost after llama turned out civvie. look for yourself. see the underlined parts. Its CLEAR i thought i was gonna get lynched, golden was doing a big case on me full of quotes and whatever, so its clear i thought i was dying. I started backing up rabbit BECAUSE I DONT WANT THE TOWN TO LYNCH THEM ONCE IM DEAD. They have to look other places to next lynch. It must be bea or mp. I swear to god im not. Rabbit im not.

why would i have said this if i were a baddie? if im a baddie about to get lynched, how backing up another civvie will help me? think about that

but why would i say it? i would drive unnecesary attention to myself!

fingersplints, you are having HUGE tunnel vission, those posts you quote dont prove anything, br said she thought i was civvie, im gonna get her killed cause she said she was gonna look at me more? seriously? you are grasping at straws in an unbelievable way

but since you are at that, remember when dom got nkilled? right before he got nkilled, i mean MINUTES before, i was in the thread asking everyone about dom, about why dom was so quiet, i was all "what do u think about dom? do u think dom is bad? pleae people answer about dom, he only has 3 posts, etc". Intants later, he appears dead. You said i brought up his name and killed him at the moment? really? that makes sense to you?

you are trying to fit everything into the idea im bad but you dont realize that everything makes much more sense if im civvie!!!

I don't think you were about to get lynched. You are still not even about to get lynched.

I think its a little unfair to call it tunnel vision at this point too. There aren't many people left and I have considered everyone. Thats hardly tunnel vision.

You are gonna get me lynched, fs.

And if you consider what br said before dying as "evidence", would you please read what happened with dom before he died? at least read that with an open mind and see what do u think?
