Re: MacGyver Mafia: The Cheesiest :D
I am heading out of town today for a weekend in the mountains with my family. I mention this because I will not be getting online much over the next few days as a result.

Also, definitely going with Alf. He's much cheesier than any 80s pop star IMO.

Sorry LT I really had no control over myself.
llama - sorry, no, I have not been compromised. I can be wrong just like you!
As it turns out baddies CAN target me as well as the real players.
I bet you already knew that didn't you?
I noticed that Roxy, Reywas and LT all had llama as their biggest suspicion before they were NK'ed or lynched, coincidence, most likely not.
I picked Cyndi Lauper. Her music is for sure ear numbingly 80's.

I would invite you to consider the possibility that it looks suspicious because someone wants it to look suspicious. I didn't vote for LT, and given the number of votes for her, I couldn't have orchestrated that kill if I had wanted to.Snow Dog wrote:You have to admit it looks suspicious.thellama73 wrote:You really think I need to silence those who question me? I guess you make fun of my name because you are jealous

Surely not because I haven't been helpful, I have only been around a couple of days and came up with more suspicions than you have all game.

This feels like a mess now.
ALF is clearly the cheesiest! I mean, the others are cheesy, but a puppet alien of indeterminate species who interviews celebrities? Come on!

I was talking to Billy and we have decided on this we can absolutely agree!
Since its likely there was a recruit it is hard to know who you can trust still.

Re: MacGyver Mafia~It's NIGHT FIVE
He Man was walking down the ships corridor. He kept hearing steps behind him. He looked over his shoulder and saw a gracious looking whitehaired gentleman there. He kinda made him think of a weird old theme song he saw on one of those old shows his Mum liked on reruns~

But then when he looked over his shoulder again, the guy looked younger, had shiny blondish hair. He just wasn't sure just WHO was following him. Soon, however, it really did not matter. The guy following him lifted am umbrella taped to a rock which was tied to a stick, which tripped He Man, who fell and broke his neck. So sad

~~~~~~~~~~
boo was minding his own business, decided whether he liked video games or Harry Potter best.
He decided against combining them, and was trying to work out the details, when a mysterious figure snuck up behind him, and without bothering to destroy boos horcrux, just cut him down. So cruel.
He Man is Dead, so is Boo.
How the Hell did this happen?
P.S. If you have 5 or so minutes you don't mind wasting, and are fairly high, watch the MacGyver or Matlock video. It's pretty freaking awesome, lol. But only if you're high
The roles don't reveal anything about it, so there must be some secrets we aren't aware of at play.
Re: MacGyver Mafia~It's NOT Night 5
Well, I kind of hope we can get a lot of discussion today. Definitely seems like a good time to take a step back, regroup, and come up with some fresh ideas.
I know that both FH and llama have been mentioned by multiple people as possible suspicions, and though I've read both of them I'd be interested in seeing what other people's thoughts are before posting what I've got. Particularly I'd appreciate more detail on the anti-FH case.
On my readthrough I was having trouble drawing solid conclusions on Snowie, BWT, and He-Man as well, so if anyone has something to contribute on them that would be nice.
I'll be checking in later to post some of my thoughts.
Re: MacGyver Mafia~It's NOT Night 5
I'm hoping to not get into another LT 2.0 situation where we all agree on someone (almost all) and that person turns out to be civv. There's been a lot of talk about llama here in the last few (real) days so yesterday I went through the thread and found the places where llama was accused of something so I could put them all together and see what I thought. As I wrote things down I didn't evaluate whether i agreed or not or whether the accusation was factually correct or not, I just listed the item.
1. voted auger - Roxy also seemed to have a passionate belief he was bad
2. said he thought MP was good
3. brought up Roxy's name for lynch
4. MP felt llama voted Roxy quickly after MP had just brought her up as a possibility
5. MP not sure about llama
6. Posts have a different tone than MOTU
7. llama insanified
8. Voted for LT
9. Not very much to his posts
10. response to reywas about the insanification
11. suspicious of He Man but not enough evidence to back his vote
12. something feels off
13. Roxy, Reywas, LT all had llama as their last big suspicion
Then I went back and looked at the things listed and just want to comment on a few.
1. Roxy had a lot of passion around llama, more so than i saw anywhere else and seemingly more than it was worth for an auger vote. Seemed to be a lot of passion just because of the auger. Was there something else there that she couldn't share about that auger selection?
2. Said he thought MP was good - this was early on and I'm not sure we can really hold this against him. Wasn't it too early to be recruited yet?
3. MP accused llama of voting too quickly after he mentioned Roxy and MP didn't feel sure about llama. I'm not sure which way to count this evidence. Was MP trying to distance (again, was there time for llama to be recruited?) or was MP trying to cast suspicion meaning llama was not on his team.
2. Posts have a different tone than MOTO and his posts seem off. How is his tone different? I may be wrong but I don't see the difference in his tone but if those that see it could help me with this I might buy into it more.
3. llama wasn't insanified or team insanified. I don't really understand this accusation. What makes people think this was a fake? Is it because there is other evidence that makes him seem bad therefore this follows on that?
4. Voted for LT - a lot of us voted for LT but maybe this is just adding a small piece of data to what already exists.
5. Roxy, Reywas, and LT all had llama as their last big suspicion. This seems to me to be saying "three people suspected him the most and then died". That would work in the case of Roxy and Reywas because they were nightkilled but LT was lynched. Or does it mean "three people suspected him the most" and it doesn't matter if they died? I'm a little twisted up by this one, i.e., not sure I understand the accusation.
So where I come out on llama is I am uneasy. On the one hand, maybe the fact that there are a lot of different suspicions even though some of them are small add up to a baddie. On the other hand, some of the things like the insanification suspicion just don't make sense to me yet. I'm not saying I won't vote for llama but I'm hoping during the discussion today people can comment on some of these things that make me uneasy. Or, maybe i have left out some big things, big picture items that I overlooked while digging in the detail. I hope we can have a good discussion today.
Gosh I'm sorry this is so long.
Gosh I'm sorry this is so long.
Re: MacGyver Mafia~It's NOT Night 5
Great post, Juliets!
I am happy for people to evaluate the evidence and will gladly answer any questions. One thing you forgot to mention is that I was the only person besides LT, boo and Flyin' High (all of whom voted for me) NOT to vote for LT 2.0.
Once again, I will say I think it is a mistake to vote llama. We can not afford to lynch another civ.
This lynch is a difficult decision. I am definitely reading Kate, Snow Dog, juliets and russ as civvie. I suspected BWT for a while, but I think he has satisfactorily answered all my objections. By process of elimination, that leaves Flyin' High. I can't quite put my finger on it, but her posts have struck me as a bit off. Also, the chemistry book suspected her twice. If it were only once, I would put it down to false information, but twice is pretty compelling. Right now she is the most likely to get my vote today.
Re: MacGyver Mafia: The Cheesiest :D
How about this post? After pushing for LT to be lynched, she waited until the last minute when it was too late and voted llama. Then after LT flipped civ, which I think fh knew would happen, she said let's get llama next...thats what LT wanted. She neglects to mention that LT had someone else in mind...fh.Flyin' High wrote:RIP LT. I really couldn't get past that no u, but you made me worry with how you were posting after you had enough votes to be lynched. I think llama is definitely where we should be looking next since that's what LT wanted.
Llama seems to have had heat from the very beginning. Reading everything I am not sure why. I don't know his game well but he seems to behave alright to me.
NOT a winner of...
Re: MacGyver Mafia~It's NOT Night 5
I've spent a large part of the morning thus far going over each of the incidents that Juliets has referred to. The one that really confuses me is the whole insanifying him being fake. Even after going over quotes related to it, it doesn't make any sense to me at all that it could have been faked. I feel like that was just thrown in to add to the suspicion that was currently surrounding him. But I'm not even sure why someone would do that. It seems too circumstantial and I don't see if changing a lot of minds one way or the other. So I would say my current stance on llama is unsure.
As for FH on the other hand, I feel like she's ignored a lot of suspicion that has fallen on her by trying to pass the buck on to someone else. As Kate's quote pointed out, LT expressed her feelings about BOTH FH and llama, and FH completely ignored the bit about her while saying that llama was "definitely where we should be looking next". That doesn't strike me as very civvie behavior. So I will be looking at FH for today's lynch unless something else changes my mind.
