You, my dear, would have a hard time making that list.
*Relieved* I also hate all those things. Except I'm not a big beer drinker.
Dom wrote:Why are you being so defensive?
Because I thought Golden was trying to twist my words. But you're right, I could calm down some.

I usually say it as a funny way to spell "what".

Epi, do you hate me? I hope not, I'm really not a terrible person but this is a game and players gotta play. But I'm seeing a lot of "well Epi might be bad but I'm not sure yet". Feels like deflection from voting him.
Defection onto what?
Deflection
from voting Epi. Maybe avoidance is a better word.

Thank you!
Juliet's, in response to those links you posted my responses to the questions I see are: I remember some people who I was suspicious of in the Zelda game, but not all the requotes. It was a misguided thought I had at the time that maybe mafia was just trying to gum up the works. I was mostly frustrated.
By "easy lynch" I meant someone who seemed an easy target to try and get lynched. I did make a post about Vompatti and pointed out that her posts were not helpful in the least. And I didn't trust LC at the time because I don't recall I was really looking at Epi at the time and from the way they were posting they didn't appear to be on the same team. I came back and posted 24 hours later that I was going back and forth on LC but it was late and I would be posting those posts I said I would make the next day. I did come back and post about Rabbit and Vompatti but by that time I wasn't feeling good about Epi so I didn't see much point in doing one on Long Con. I supposed that does sound suspect but it's the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I'd say "hand on the bible" but I'm agnostic so that wouldn't help.
juliets wrote:LC, I just noticed that one of your issues with Epi is he looks as if he had a curse on him to answer questions with a "yes" which you think is possible he made up. I think I can prove he didn't make it up. I chose a rare book as an item and the book had the power to make people say "yes" to questions asked of them. I really didn't see how that was useful because I thought people would see through it but anyway it got stolen from me. I believe it was used on Epi.
I do agree with LC that this is an odd thing to say after MM said it was he who caused Epi's affirmative answers. And your explanations aren't really making sense to me.
juliets wrote:You're right LC, I didn't think of it that way. I double checked my spreadsheet and it was stolen night one. I double checked the pm on the item and it was definitely that the receiver has to say yes to every action. But maybe this is relevant - when I asked about it I was told it didn't do anything right now (back then). I don't understand really what that meant, not that I wanted to use it then. Maybe it had to be stolen to activate? Anyway, the fact that it left me night one appears to be a stumbling block to it having been used on Epi. Which I guess means its still out there to be used by someone else.
So it wouldn't work for you when you had it but it gets stolen and works?
The only civvie possibility I see here is: Casimer Jech - The Antique Dealer - Can trade his items for others each night. If the item is usable, both parties can immediately gain the benefit.
But then you would have gained from the rare book as well, right?

Juliets, I don't think you're reading the thread closely enough. I just told you that MEtalmarsh claimed responsibility for Epig's Affirmative Curse on Day Two. Your rare book is not directly relevant to Epig's curse, as far as I can see.
I read that he said that and I read that you repeated it. I didn't think he was telling the truth when he said it but since he was good I guess he was. I'm not sure why you are saying I didn't. This post was to close out our discussion on the rare book.
He had no reason to lie. You "guess" he was? Sounds like you're trying to cover up your own slips.

Why didn't you think Metalmarsh was telling the truth? He explained Epig's weird responses and claimed responsibility for it with his Item, the Bottle. I thought it was pretty cut-and-dry.
I thought it was likely one of his jokey posts, especially since i thought I knew that the rare book was the item that caused the "yes" curse, not a bottle.
Aren't you contradicting yourself here? I don't think LC is twisting your words, I think you are.
Black Rock had the two-headed elephant charm, she was killed night 1, now Disgruntled Porcupine has it. Hmmm..
RIP Golden. I'm sorry, I really did think you were trying to twist my words.
I don't know what to make of this masquerade hoax. Welcome back MM but I am really getting confused with these replacements.

I honestly don't know why we would want to or why we wouldn't. I am on the fence about him.
These are the type of non-committal posts about Epi I'm talking about.
I haven't changed my mind about SVS from Day 2, but I wouldn't appreciate people trying to lynch me if I couldn't defend myself and if all she can do is post nice things about Epi than she's not able to.
