This makes me nervous. You're acting like bullz was a main contender for lynch day 1,which isn't true. It was between epi and llama.FZ. wrote:Just to add, the fact that people keep saying: "let's lynch Bullz already" just reminds me of last game I played here where llama and Epig kept pushing like crazy day after day for my lynch...and were wrong. llama suspected Bullz, that's great. He didn't have information on him, so while I respect llama's opinions, I didn't see his case as any less "crappy" than the case on him (as people called it). It doesn't mean Bullz can't be bad, and I am not as sure of his alignment as before, but I'm still not feeling what you allegedly are. So be incredulous as you wish, and I'll vote as I see fit.
It was a reply to MM who was "incredulous". I didn't say that. I just hate it when people say "let's lynch someone already" like it's obvious that person is bad, which is what MM did. It's not obvious to me, and just because people say it like that, doesn't make it true (and that's why I brought the example from Death Note game).blindfaeth wrote:This makes me nervous. To be fair, I'm hardly responsible for the Bass lynch being a success. I was just personally correct, which is an achievement for myself. Several others seemed to think he was bad.Spacedaisy wrote:Well done DH!
Same thing happened to me, except it was Rabbit that was trying to discredit the case.DharmaHelper wrote:If it were me, I'd go back and look at SVS and FZ since they both practically jumped down my throat after I voted Bass.
Oh I get it, you're being facetious.Long Con wrote:Yeah, great job, DH! Really sharp baddie hunting, you caught him red-handed.

Yeah, FZ. I would like to see what he's talking about.

Damn, I need to make up my mind
linki: DH, what's his baddie game?? How is this like his baddie game?
Do you rally think that's so odd for Day 2?Turnip Head wrote:Bass you mentioned the 6 outsider votes but I don't see you pursuing that lead any further with specific suspects. That's why it feels like you're just casting a wide net and letting other players do the dirty work.
I am not sure on Bullz, and I don't think BF is bad. I am not seeing the case on Bass, either. Especially the way this lynch is forming up, this feels awful, lol.
Linki ~ last time we lynched Sophie for being too quiet, she was just a busy civ. So maybe that's it.
Linki~ why, LC?
Linki~ Thank DH. At least I can understand that, although I am not sure I agree.
I feel like there is a decent chance that Bass is Double Down, cursed himself, and is using it as a shout out to Blacksmith
Oh so Timmer can brag and take all the credit but I can't I see how it is.timmer wrote:I feel like there is a decent chance that Bass is Double Down, cursed himself, and is using it as a shout out to Blacksmith
To be fair, Timmer called the exact situation. That's gotta deserve some shout-outs.DharmaHelper wrote:Oh so Timmer can brag and take all the credit but I can't I see how it is.timmer wrote:I feel like there is a decent chance that Bass is Double Down, cursed himself, and is using it as a shout out to Blacksmith
Nah, that would be pointless.DharmaHelper wrote:If it were me, I'd go back and look at SVS and FZ since they both practically jumped down my throat after I voted Bass.
Your enthusiasm in the matter was noted, and notably suspect, given the results of the lynch.S~V~S wrote:Nah, that would be pointless.DharmaHelper wrote:If it were me, I'd go back and look at SVS and FZ since they both practically jumped down my throat after I voted Bass.
And I thought your vote was vague (and it WAS). Then when you explained it, I said, "Thank You DH" and never brought it up again.

It's anti-Turnip Head, which makes sense, because it's a vote post on him. You specifically mention two different things that I read as a Bass-saving attempt: "I'm not feeling any of the B-Boy votes" obviously includes Bass, but in a not-directly-referring-to-Bass kind of way, and then mentioning a short time later that TH's reasons for voting Bass are weak.S~V~S wrote:I am not feeling any of the B-Boy votes.
I am going to vote for Turnip Head. I think his reasons for voting Llama were weak, I think his reasons for voting Bass are weak, too. TH takes voting seriously, and puts lots of thought into his votes when he's a civ, even if he does not post every thought. Todays vote i can get, he is working, he's is playing the Champs game, he's stretched thin. But his Llama vote was weaker than I expect from TH, even for Day 1.
I don't expect him to get lynched, but I want him to know I'm paying attention
All of those posts of yours I quoted wherein you jump down my throat regarding my Bass vote occur in a very short window of time, thats what I mean when I say you enthusiastically (uh oh LC, Those adwhatevers are back) defended Bass/attacked my vote.S~V~S wrote:What enthusiasm? "Enthusiastically" in this context is appropriate. It maintains a function critical to the understanding of the independent clause. Carry on.DharmaHelper wrote:All of those posts of yours I quoted wherein you jump down my throat regarding my Bass vote occur in a very short window of time, thats what I mean when I say you enthusiastically (uh oh LC, Those adwhatevers are back) defended Bass/attacked my vote.S~V~S wrote:What enthusiasm? Agreed. And if I haven't said it before, I do believe in the adverb theory.Epignosis wrote:"Enthusiastically" in this context is appropriate. Long Con wrote:That's true, S~V~S, and I don't find your questioning of DH to be suspicious. It's easy to drop "oh, that's his baddie game", but it's more of a test to get some details... I think you approached it the right way.
On the flip side, even though you were satisfied with DH, your vote post is more pro-Bass than any other player.

I would like the answer to this. He's fighting pretty hard not to be cheated () which feels pretty civvie-ish to me.
Why the? How is this like his baddie game?

I was pointing out to LC other instances of your being Pro-Bass. Not just in your lynch vote post.S~V~S wrote:EBWOP~ just because a person is proven correct about a suspicion, does not make suspicions leading up to that point invalid. Yes, DH, then when you FINALLY explained it, I said, "Thank You, DH" and backed off.
I understand, I realize now that I wasn't really looking for a defense, because it's easy to read as you portray it. It's probably that way, and it has a chance of being less than innocent.S~V~S wrote:LC, I did not see the case on any of the three, really. So since the votes were so close, I chose not to vote for any of them. I did not feel any of them were bad strongly enough to commit to it in a tight vote. Two, not three, really, since BF was never as serious lynch contender as Bullz or Bass.
I also said that THs reasons for voting Lllama were weak. I thought I was seeing a pattern of weak suspicions, that, for me, characterize bad TH. So 50/50 for me this game, since he was right on Bass, wrong on llama.
Linki, yes, DH, and as soon as you replied, I sais "Thank You" and never mentioned it again. I thought you were being vague. I have no info, so while hindsight is 20/20, at that time, your vagueness caught my eye.
Yes, there are some undeniably pro-Bass sentiments in those posts, which don't simply pertain to getting a clarification on your Bass suspicion.DharmaHelper wrote:I was pointing out to LC other instances of your being Pro-Bass. Calling him a civvie for one thing.S~V~S wrote:What specifically is "pro Bass" as opposed to "not particularly suspicious of Bass" about these posts?
Calling the lynch against him and I quote "awful, lol".S~V~S wrote:I said his fighting felt civvie-ish to me. It did. That isn't calling him a civvie.
You are stretching here.
There's a big difference between being fooled and actively, aggressively defending someone.S~V~S wrote:Ask me if Bass has fooled me in the past. Ask LC; he saw Bass totally schnocker me in The Island game.
I don't even think Rabbit knows Bass.Long Con wrote:Would S~V~S, FZ, or Rabbit check Bass on Night 1, if they were Blacksmith?
Dangerously close to the realm of conjecture, to the point where it would take considerable convincing for me to think it was relevant, sure.Long Con wrote:Difficult enough to be irrelevant?
