Epig, who are you looking at, now? I saw Timmer say he's not as suspicious of you. What are your thoughts on him? Do you still think he's worth lynching?

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 2)
In the event I am unable to continue to press my SVS suspicion for whatever reason, here it is as bare-bones yet comprehensive as I can make it:
1. SVS (to borrow a phrase) "glomped" onto FZ's questioning of my vote, which felt odd to me. Taken by itself it is not damning evidence however; SVS is 90% likely to jump down my throat at any given game for any given reason. When I looked into it, that cracked the suspicion wide open for me.
2. SVS Made several Pro-Bass posts. She tried to downplay these as instead "not particularly suspicious of Bass" posts. As I pointed out, she called him "civvie-ish", called the lynch against him sketchy several times (awful, not feeling it, etc), and outright advocated on his behalf with regards to TH. These are not the actions of someone who considers Bass "not particularly suspect". Her downplaying of these remarks rings untrue to me. For example, she would have us believe that calling Bass's actions "civvie-ish" wasn't meant to imply that she thought he was a civ. Well, that's just plain susp-ish.
I've pulled several quotes already, and highlighted a lot of what I've talked about in this post, so I encourage you to go back and look at those if you have any questions regarding what it is SVS did and did not say.
In closing, There are two scenarios I can see that account for SVS's behavior.
1. She is Blacksmith and either recruited Bass N1 or planned to recruit him after seeing what Timmer pointed out
2. She is bad and wanted to keep Bass alive, so that they could get recruited together down the line.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Night 2)
Night 2: A Curious Case
For most of the night, the Central City precinct was silent. Detective Singh wondered if the city's problems had sorted themselves out. One of the notorious new criminals in town had been taken care of, maybe the rest had fallen victim to similar fates?
Just then, Singh was startled by a lud thud. He walked over to the department's front door, where the noise had come from. Residue from a snowball plastered the glass. Outside, a figure was standing still. The detective wandered closer, surprised to see the man standing there had not thrown the snowball. He was frozen solid.
At Absolute Zero degrees, all kinetic energy halts. Muscles freeze and heartbeats cease. Detective Singh understood what had happened the second he tried to throw a blanket around Epignosis, when his body shattered into pebble-sized pieces.
This was definitely the work of Captain Cold's infamous weaponry. But why was he leaving a body for the police to find? It wasn't like him to kill unprovoked. Then again, lately it seemed like the Rogues, whose honorable code David had grown up hearing about, were not all who they seemed.
Epignosis has been killed.
It is now Day 3. You have 48 hours to vote and PM movements to me!

I've not been ableto get 2 replies for replacements, so effective as of now, Bass shall be replacing birdwithteeth.
Take this as no indication of current alignment! Bass is a big Flash fan and has been begging me to let him sub in. I'm normally against subbing former players back in, but made a 1-time exception.

Shame epig is gone, I was beginning to trust him.
I think you will have a hard time selling that bass 1.0 had made contact with his team since the host allowed him to sub in DH.
I'm suspicious of DH tbh,he based that entire case on that small possibility.
Anyway, I still don't feel good about LC. Bullz either but you let me know when y'all are ready, since we will lynch people for saying "cheat" but not for blatantly refusing to help the civs, trying to push an obvious agenda that I was a detective so his pals could off me, etc
Now that I mention it, maybe I can get DH lynched for using "non air quote" air quotes, since our last two lynches have been hectic, unpredictable and for lack of a better word, dumb.

None, not like it matters, for all I know you feigned suspicion of bass and were severely disappointed when you realized you painted a target on your teammates backDharmaHelper wrote:How many baddies have you lynched btw :Pblindfaeth wrote:"I'm DH and I like to use air quotes and jump to hasty conclusions"

timmer don't think timmer deserves a ton of credit or anything for the previous lynch, but that doesn't make timmer bad at all. Would timmer still be looking at timmer if timmer wasn't lynched?blindfaeth wrote:"I'm DH and I like to use air quotes and jump to hasty conclusions"

BF, your attitude about the Bass lynch is surprising. You seem frustrated.
And it looks like MM has to replace all his pronouns with "timmer". I haven't seen that one before.

MM must be cursed. I'll answer you in the morning I'm trying to get off to bed because boogs is waiting.
I'll just say before I go that it makes me uneasy that DH is trying to push the whole "oh how many baddies have you caught" routine, when in this game since they didn't start with BTSC and don't know each other, it doesn't matter. He's used that theory in his case against SVS and now he's using it again tonight and can't seem to grasp this concept. Sorry, but your lynch of bass = absolutely no civ cred, as much as you want it to, not happening, so don't act like it should.
Linki, I am frustrated with the bass lynch lol. Because we lynch someone who says cheat but not the elephant in the room who's using wifom to the extreme

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 3)
Sometimes I feel like playing mafia is somewhat akin to talking to a wall for me anymore. In death note I didn't comment on the fact things I said were largely ignored because I was bad and did t want to draw attention to myself unnecessarily, but here it is just plain annoying. Does anyone want to discuss LC? Or am I the only one who feels bad about him?

Rabbit would probably be happy to discuss me with you, and BF has stated that he suspects me as well.Spacedaisy wrote:Sometimes I feel like playing mafia is somewhat akin to talking to a wall for me anymore. Maybe you should make a case if you want people to respond to it. It's not easy to respond to "I don't feel good about him".
