Rabbit is still playing. I had map BTSC with him a few nights ago, and he said then that he was going to shape up, catch up, and start posting more content. It appears that he was unable to achieve that goal.Sophie wrote:lc, why do you think bass is dr alchemy? if thats what you are saying
bass, i ve been suspish of rabbit of a long time and the fact he didnt appear in quite a while confirm this (unless he was replaced, wich i totally missed), im not sure i trust all of timmer claims, and i think br might be right and TH might be tops.
im more sure about people i trust than to people i dont, and this lynch is gonna go bad if mm gets lynched. i wish i could have changed my vote to timmer.
On that note, I didn't get much of a sense of his alignment or role in that chat. We talked about some Day Three current events, and that's about it.
But he's still playing. He was on the poll.

Day 7 - We Didn't Start the Fire
The crowd in Keystone City had gathered around the homes of 2 neighbors, both suspected in the case of Spacedaisy's death the previous night.
The mob's solution was to light each house on fire. If either resident slept through the fire, it could mean they were awake and up to no good all night.
They poured the gasoline and lit their matches. However, the flames were snuffed out when thrown at the homes.
Someone had filled the gas cans with water, how strange!
With their plan out of commission, the crowd quickly lost interest and dissipated. Their revenge would have to wait until they bought some more fuel...
No players have been lynched.
It is now Night 7. You have 24 hours to send me your PMs.

Does anyone have Heat Wave all decoded? Is there any objection to decoding it, with him being a Civ role? He starts fires at locations, but I can't really decipher what they do yet, and I'm curious.

Too bad effigies doesn't fit there. That would be intense :o
SVS, I did not have that in my role PM. I'm very curious by yours, though.
Well, I'm sticking to my guns in trusting MM. I will likely vote Timmer again the next Day. I may even consider moving to TH. I think BR has a very interesting point there. I also think it's interesting that MM's mind control was entirely based around saying Timmer's name, and TH has been vouching for Timmer this whole time. Set up for civ cred? I wonder.
I agree with LC regarding Bass. It's pretty obvious now who he is and I don't think he should be lynched, especially since he seems to have good intentions.

I see what you're saying regarding Bass, and I agree he shouldn't be voted. Sorry about that Bass.
Some of my questions are dumb, like the one about how many players are still alive when it's on the poll
so I apologize in advance if some of my new ones will be as stupid. Honestly, I'm struggling to keep up with the game.
How many New Rogues do you think are still out there?
Did we solve all the tidles of the new rogues?
Is Zoom still alive?
Are the only people really defending TImmer and TH are Timmer and TH? I was defending them earlier, but am starting to wonder
Bass and SVS, why did you vote MM? If the vote was on TH, would you still vote MM or would you move it to TH?

If Zoom protects Wally, one of Wally’s teammates will randomly die. ?????????
Then I think he is not alive, or at least not active. I can't think of a dead player who could be Zoom though.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 7)
I am not the Top or any other baddie. I realize that me defending Timmer has been most directly opposed to some of the Top's objectives, which has inadvertently made me a Top suspect, but I've had good reasons to defend Timmer and it has nothing to do with my role. BR, if I had that power I would honestly never target you with it, because I would know that you specifically would find a way to trace it back to me given our history. I don't know who's behind it but it's a clever gambit if they saw it working out exactly this way.
I still don't understand the Timmer votes, or especially the Bass votes. MM you asked me if I thought Bass was playing a civ-friendly game, my answer is yes because how else do you make sense of Bass' play? He is playing much differently than he did when we caught him as Bass 1.0. Then there's Sophie who hasn't said much this game but is strongly defending MM, which gives me pause. Sophie, why do you have so much trust in MM?
And as the player list whittles down I grow more concerned that rabbit and Soneji are inactive New Rogues rather than inactive Indies. I don't believe we've had a Murmur silence in quite some time, and Girder is almost assuredly still out there. Professor Zoom is either dead or inactive.

I mean there are 7 New Rogues. 1 of them is obviously dead, and another is presumed dead (but we have not narrowed down who Plunder could have been). Actually, I'm starting to think that DH was Plunder. It's the only thing that seems to fit.
There are other roles that have not been active. Zoom does not appear to be active. Magenta does not appear to be active. Abra Kadabra hasn't done anything since the rezz of llama, if that was indeed caused by him.
Also, Professor Zoom was lynched already. I believe it was Aces.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 7)
I need some help with the Blacksmith's role secrets. This is what I have, but it is not grammatically correct.
Blacksmith – Searches to build her own group of Rogues. Every night she may search a player. If that player is a New Rogue, she will gain BTSC with them. However, if she searches and finds the Secret Role, that player will take over her power a BTSC and she will die.
If this is a true power, this could change some things.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 7)
It's not really that interesting. I was naming the ones that would have a noticeable impact on events we could see. Girder can't be night killed so he's still alive because we haven't lynched him. Murmur is either dead or inactive because of a lack of silences. The other roles aren't worth mentioning because it's impossible to tell whether they are active/alive or not. Magenta could be saving her pardon. Blacksmith only impacts New Rogues, we have no way to tell what she's up to. Nobody has brought forward any stories of Tar Pit-related incidents, but that doesn't necessarily mean he isn't active.Metalmarsh89 wrote:It's interesting that you don't mention Tar Pit or Blacksmith at all.Turnip Head wrote:I am not the Top or any other baddie. But inactivity is still a cause for concern to me. Made never posted, and we lynched his replacement, and Made turned out to be a completely apathetic serial killer. I don't think rabbit would play this way as a baddie, tbh, I think he would try to get replaced. Soneji I'm not so sure about.

I don't actively distrust TH at this time. And just as his points re Roxy made sense Bass' points re MM made a lot of sense to me. I think MM could have cursed himself with that Timmer thing, he seemed pretty annoyed about it when people tried to think of ways for him to get around it. I am getting an Indy vibe from TH moreso than a New Rogue/baddie vibe from TH. Why did you vote for Bass?FZ. wrote:I see what you're saying regarding Bass, and I agree he shouldn't be voted. I wonder.
I tend to agree with what you say here, devin

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 7)
Night 7 - And the Beat Drones On...
After the calm that overtook the city during the seventh day of chaos in Kansas, it came as no surprise to anyone when mayhem erupted again later that night.
Bullets flew everywhere, Speedsters rushed to intercept them, a birthday cake with a magnet was delivered to one lucky recipient. As Wally West made his move, the metallic earpieces on his costume yanked him face-first into the cake. By the time he recovered, the vagrant he was after disappeared into the night.
Elsewhere, Keystone's new serial killer would find their exploits unfruitful again. They picked an innocent-looking bystander, rushed him at full speed, and pushed him onto the railorad tracks nearby, right as a train was arriving.
The sound of crunching steel pierced the night. The killer walked away satisfied. But minutes later, the victim wandered out from under the carriage of the locomotive, brushed himself off, and continued on his walk, albeit moderately bewildered.
In all the chaos, Llama believed he was safe hiding away with his new, close friends at an undisclosed location. They reminisced about the good old days of Keystone City, and what it was like before Professor Zoom saved the world and made them all wanted men. It was almost as if he didn't remember that he died just a week ago.
As Llama sat and played poker in the abandoned building, a whirring sound approached him. He turned around and his eyes grew wide. A small drone had been piloted into the warehouse, probably through an open ventilation shaft. The drone itself wasn't what Llama became terrified of; it was the harpoon gun attached to it that captured his attention. He had no time to react, all he had time to do was feel the cold, metal spear pierce his heart.
The drone powered down and dropped to the ground with a thud. Llama's former road trip buddies.gasped and hurried out of the building before it self-distructed, leaving no trail back to it's pilot.
Llama has been killed by an attack drone.
It is now Day 8. You have 48 hours to lynch a baddie!

Question for you. You are voting for me because I would self-target as the Top right? What about all the other players that would self-target, and/or would potentially use the announced curse tactics?

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 8)
I'd just like to say, so that the host knows I'm paying attention... ever since the storm that moved everyone, we've been living in an alternate reality where Professor Zoom is the hero. I hope this hasn't flipped the win conditions or something drastic like that. I mean, MP's point was sound from a creative point of view, what does it matter to any role if they are now cast as hero or villain? I'd imagine that the win conditions would flip as well, and we'd be in a perfect antimatter balance, and it wouldn't affect the actual game at all.
But what if it does affect the game somehow? Does anyone know how it happened, and can we go to that square (?) and reverse it?
Or is this just a fun storyline that MR is putting out there to intrigue us and keep things interesting?
This is definitely Flashpoint Paradox-esque.

You're missing my point; it isn't that you would self target or not. While you were Timmered you seemed to be going out of your way to be as confusing as possible and were visibly annoyed that people were trying to find a way for you to post normally. It got my eye at the time but we were more or less on the same page, and I did not see the point of acting in a way you might interpret as antagonistic when I felt fairly good about you st that point.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 8)
I don't really see why The Top would get upset if people were trying to help him get around a self-curse. Perhaps a real supervillain would get frustrated at someone messing with his Grand Scheme due to egomaniacal issues, but there's no reason for it to cause The Top emotional distress in the game. The point is to be seen as targeted, what happens from there is "do what a Civvie would do" or probably more "do whatever it is I'd normally do".

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 8)
So if that got your eye at the time, but you still generally agreed with what I was saying, why are you now (as of Day 6 I guess) accusing me of being the Top and self-targeting, when there have been no new developments since then to change your opinion?S~V~S wrote:You're missing my point; it isn't that you would self target or not. And what do you plan to do now? Do you plan on voting for me again? Do you think that will accomplish anything? Does timmer tying for a lynch twice and surviving both times not concern you at all? I do find it strange that MovingPictures07 took the lynch when timmer tied with him on Day 5, and nothing happened this time around, but I don't know what to say.
Another note, even if I was the Top, I would probably not be the only baddie left. But you don't seem interested in lynching anyone else. You won't even entertain the notion.
And nobody mentioned it before, but I think the night post shows more then has been brought to light so far. It appeared to me that Wally West tried to kill someone, but the kill backfired. That can only mean two things, and I am more inclined to believe one of them, that Wally West attempted to kill the Top, and the kill was reversed back at Wally. The other possibility is that a trap was laid on Wally's target, but the flavor in the post does not seem to indicate that.
