Rock climbing...Fun! I used to go a lot in high school, but that (sadly) was 15 years ago. My daughter wants to go so bad, she asks often. But kids have to be 7 or 8 before they can be harnessed. If I took her, she'd only be able to do the little kids walls that aren't very high. Poor girl has a few years.

That's interesting.

The climbing gym I work at, kids can be as young as 4 or 5 to harness up. We have special little full-body harnesses for them, so they don't slip out of the normal ones. But the safety reasons are certainly something to consider.
