Absalom- looking back at the first five or six days of votes, who do you think is looking worse after Belsh flipped Horseman?

It's a difficult question, because answering it requires a lot of assumptions about things we don't know.

Did the mafia know he was Death or vice versa?
Were they working together?
Do the Horsemen know each other's roles and do they have an incentive to protect each other?
What is his win condition?
What was his night power?

Without knowing any of these answers, a vote analysis is impossible. I still think Rahab is looking pretty bad, and I think we should lynch Ruth today. Even if she was reincarnated as Belshazzar, as Balaam suggests (and I have no reason to believe this is any more than a wild guess), that would still make her Death and I doubt it's a good thing to keep him around. Aso, given that Belsh was not a Heathen, I am going to look into his Rebecca suspicion further, as it is (slightly) more likely to be a real one than otherwise.

I always suspected Judas secret was that he'd be a heathen recruit. The most obvious choice. In which case, for the first time this game, I feel doomed. Especially since I lost my buddy Balaam. Oh who am I kidding, he was an ass.

As backwards as this sounds, I'd actually advocate not lynching Ruth today. At worst she seems likely to be chaos. At best, she has been deliberately put in the thread so we'll waste a lynch on her when she actually only survives for a short period of time or something. We can deal with her later, I think.

I'd sooner be looking at Isaac or Lazarus today.

Bathsheba - it's nice to have you back, but could you please give a brief synopsis of what has been happening to you this game? It's difficult to read a post like your last one which suggests you've been reading and keeping up when other factors don't appear that way.

Lot, I have been skimming the game to see if i could figure out who is behind the socks. Then, Epi asked me to sub in so I did. (I asked his permission to tell that I am a sub.)

There are chunks of info I will be missing because when I was skimming I sometimes skipped over things. Like for example, I see you have Lazarus at the top of your list. The last time I can remember reading about Lazarus people seemed to think he was the one who got more votes as time went on (a civ role). What happened to that suspicion? Also, regarding Isaac, can you just give me a brief reason why you think he deserves to be at the top of your suspicions? I will read both he and Lazarus but if you would tell me those two things it would help me out.

Well, on Isaac I've always felt his voting patterns look terrible and there has never really been anything he has yet done to persuade me he is civilian. I note, for instance, that there are STILL no new apostle activations, despite Isaac claiming to be a vanilla one. It seems to me at this point that the odds of him being heathen are strong.

On Lazarus, I see two possibilities. One is that he is Simon the Zealot, in which case within a couple of days I will be lynched. He will then be a confirmed civ, but I will be dead. The other possibility is that Martha is Simon the Zealot and Neb knows this so that Lazarus could fake it. If that is true, I wouldn't be lynched by leaving him alive, but he would be heathen.

Basically, on Lazarus, it's either:

He's bad and I survive; or
He's good and I die

So for me, I see merit in lynching him either way.

Also, Lazarus is the way I'm going to vote - see previous votes for why.

Why do you think there's a trap? Why do you think Ruth is not exactly as she appears to be? It has to be based on one of three things. Empiraical evidence, either in or out of the thread, logical inference, based on what we already know, or random guessing. Which is it?

Why do you think it's game over four the civs? If you're right about Ruth, there's only two Heathens left. If I'm right and we lynch her, there will be only two left after that. That seems like we're in a pretty good position to me.

I'm sorry you're annoyed at me leading the thread, but I am trying to find bad guys and, not to toot my own horn, doing a fairly good job of it. Who wanted to lynch Samson? Not me. Who wanted to lynch Geoff? Not me. Who anted to lynch Mary Magdalane? Not me. I didn't lead those lynches. I don't think Lot is a Heathen. I think Lazarus would have been NKed if Lot were a Heathen. But he wanted to protect Belshazzar and now he wants to protect Ruth, both of which are irrational in my opinion. It's very strange.

I misspoke on the Belshazzar thing. I misremembered. I was thinking of you pushing Isaac over Mordecai, which I found suspicious at the time, but looking back, you didn't push that hard against Mordecai.

I didn't push at all against Mordecai. I did push hard against Isaac because I caught him in a boldfaced lie - something most people didn't bother to read. I just find this game too tiring right now. It's pointless being in the thread because neither my words nor my vote have value.

And because no-one believes me that Lazarus is bad, which (if they are all right) means they are not at all interested in having me here either. Why should I put in a whole lot of effort when people right now are basically saying 'yes, you are going to be lynched. We don't want to help. Bye!
