I tried to tell them all that you weren't being mind controlled. But apparently the insanity plea doesn't work that well hereMovingPictures07 wrote:WHERE'S MY RAINBOW REZZ?

I would have recruited you immediately, btw.

I am also intrigued for the post-game and will contribute my thoughts more properly at that time.

Meanwhile, we need 14 more players for Dom's full game, which will take place next. Anyone who's played The Flash and needs a game to play should absolutely sign up.

If you change your mind, that'd be awesome. But I understand the desire for a break.

Haha, no, I will not be on my computer or phone or anything the entire honeymoon. As much as I love being on the computer, I'm on it all day every day, so I will much appreciate that break. I'm sure Annie will as well. :P
I need just one week away from everything, considering I don't get any built in vacation in my PhD program at all this year except that one week and Christmas.

Yeah, too bad. But I'm burnt out. I screw up too much in games and I'm not playing like I'd like to. Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 12)
I can relate 100%. A break will likely serve you well. No worries, we have plenty of amazing upcoming games in the new queue, so I'm sure we'll get to play together soon enough.FZ. wrote:Yeah, too bad. But I'm burnt out. If you change your mind, that'd be awesome. But I understand the desire for a break. So maybe if I stay away a little and miss the game, it will help. In addition, like you I'm obsessed when I play, and I neglect other more important things, It will give me some time for that as well. No idea when I'll come back. Can be in 2 weeks or less, or could be a few months. I'm hoping for the latter, but knowing me, it won't stick.
Anyway, congrats and have a great wedding and honeymoon!!!

Thank you very much!

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 12)
And I know that my 'breaks' don't stick well either, so I'll likely end up playing Frisky Dingo as long as it doesn't land me in late July/early August. :P
We shall see though. My "official" stance is that I told myself I need a break after the game on RYM and Dom's game here.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 12)
Night 12- 7 More Years
Sun set on the city of Keystone one last time for MetalMarsh. As Marsh and Sophie ran from the new villains that had slowly taken over their beloved cities, a strange sight caused them to stop in their tracks. Across the bridge was a glassy wall, their very own reflections on the other side. A giant image appeared, spanning across the horizon. It was DFaraday, and his boss, Black Rock. They looked down upon the heroic duo. Black Rock cackled a sly laugh as she spotted them. DFaraday said nothing as his surrounded the fake world that Marsh and Sophie had found themselves trapped in.
In the real world, the New Rogues gathered to celebrate at Granite Peak, reuniting after FZ's retribution. All except one. In a field south of Keystone, Murmur was sprawled out in the grass with a boomerang wedged between his ribs. "Dmn", he muttered through his stitched together lips.
It was no matter, Girder gave the order to Plunder, slamming his fist on the picnic table in front of them and shaking the ground in the process. Dr. Alchemy revealed his role in the diabolical scheme as he phased into the meeting from the trees nearby. Plunder nodded, and crushed the small mirror he held in the palm of his hand. Wally West and the Pied Piper were no more.
Sophie awoke to see pitch black around her. There was no sign of MetalMarsh in the darkness. She was trapped in a destroyed dimension, and would remain there until she could figure out a way to get loose and seek revenge on the New Rogues.
In time, Central City forgot the Flashes even existed. People chose to embrace the Reverse Flash and the mystifying Dr. Alchemy, who turned the economy of the gem cities around, converting their sparse resources into gold with his Alchemist's Stone. Keeping the attention on his good deeds also kept his partnership with Central's criminal circuit under wraps, as long as he saved some of the profits for Black Smith and her gang of New Rogues, of course.
MetalMarsh has been killed by Plunder. Long Con did not survive a tornado and rogue boomerang.
But The New Rogues have won! Congratulations to Black Rock, Devin the Omniscient, and DFaraday! Posthumous congratulations to Long Con!
Bass 2.0 has also won! Congrats!

We knew DF was Plunder: llama had checked him and he showed as the Trickster. But on Night 6, the Trickster showed he was still alive, so DF was obviously a seemer.Long Con wrote:I respect the analysis and recap , it's good to have that at game end.Metalmarsh89 wrote:And I wasted 2 hours yesterday doing a "catchup" post for DF and a complete role analysis on everyone, all for naught.![]()

Despite being imprisoned for 90% of this game, I'm so happy for all the hard work my team did! They really gave their all. As did the civvies, it would seem.
Anyway, who decided to kill me on Night 1? I'm not even a threat most of the time.

That weather messed me up too. I had mind controlled Llama that night to vote for Timmer (naturally), with the caveat that he wasn't allowed to tell anyone he was being mind controlled (something I foolishly had left off of all previous MC's).

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 12)
Two funniest moments in the game were MM having to call everyone timmer, that was definitely worth it, especially when it ended up lasting for two lynches. And MP self destructing like a madman is the other one. I just couldn't stop laughing.

I had fun with it. I don't think Roxy did though.Turnip Head wrote:Two funniest moments in the game were MM having to call everyone timmer, that was definitely worth it, especially when it ended up lasting for two lynches. I never planned on talking about it after the fact. But then rabbit and BR started talking about their mind controls, so I followed suit, assuming it was okay.

The answer: all of them, if you are a marmot.

I knew this game was not as it seemed, I figured the Old Rogues were screwed (though it seems my assessment was severely uninformed), I was bored of everyone saying "I'm so civ", and I knew my real life would only allow me to be super active for a cycle... so I decided to overexaggerate, shake things up, and go nuts. Totally worth it.

That said, I was going to switch my vote at the last minute to someone other than me, but only if it was anyone other than timmer, since I felt people were latching onto him to save me, and I thought he was probably an Old Rogue.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 12)
Alson sorry to whoever was upset after I died and said GoOld Rogues -r but honestly it was like saying Go Civvies as MR said in the very beginning that the Old Rogues were as close to civvies as possible this game. So sorry to whoevers game I ruined by posting that.
