As amazing as mafia is, RL always > Mafia, so I figured that's probably why those players said No, but it's worth trying to see if we can get any of them nonetheless. I had to miss out on Recruitment III due to an incredibly hectic RL (teaching, tax season, PhD applications, among other things), so I'm extra pumped for this one.

HOLY MAGILACUTTY! I just looked up what the shit I'm getting into and damn, this is an involved game. Just reading through the last one, I've learned that that LongCon guy and that BlackRock gal sure know how to make a complex game! This might be the precipice of my mafia experience so far, and I hope I don't get overwhelmed. But with ~40 roles with secret agendas, recruiting people left-right-and-four-days-south-of-Sunday, I feel like playing this game will be like pinning the tail on the donkey.

If this starts this week, I have to apologize if I'm not fully on it, but I'll be coming back into swing in time!

Pleased to be playing again! I just did a LOST rewatch and it made my nostalgic for the old mafia crew.

On a sadder note my father in law just passed away so tomorrow I have an 8 hour drive ahead of me as I travel to Michigan. I'll be there through the weekend and while I *will* be participating during that time i just want everyone aware incase my participation seems lacking a bit.
