For the future, in case, if you aren't using your power let us know. Otherwise it's a missing PM, we don't like that. LC is writing the night post and it's going to be good!

Hey awesome hosts!!!!!!
If the night polls aren't going to have an end time - could you please bold in the day post when night ends? Just for nub Bea. I thought I had time and missed it by linki - I'm not particularly cranky about missing a night poll as it seems the option I was going to vote for seemed to have the lead anyway. But I worry because I'm nub Bea and I NEED reminders and I work crazy hours and I on principle don't like to miss votes. And more particularly, I don't want punished for missing votes.
linki- yes - Blackened seasoning is a staple in my spice rack.I agree with epi here. Salmon. Blackend with lots of dill sauce.

The problem we're having is the poll goes by days and not hours. We'll try to keep everyone informed.bea wrote:Hey awesome hosts!!!!!!

It is the poll that came with the software. It's the one we have been using and we have been able to set end times. I am not sure what the problem is?

Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Night 1 End)
Sorcerous Intentions
Azura Nokomis ascended to the highest room in Harrow's Peak, a mountain that she and the Sorcerers had hollowed out magically with a multitude of twisting hallways and rooms. Open to the night sky, but magically concealed from outside view, she stood before a triad of demonic statues, each holding a thick metal staff with a large iron ball on top.
Azura raised her arms, concentrating, and willed the elements to surge forth with power. Forked lightning arced from the sky, striking the three staffs and remaining there, flowing between them, trapped. She cried out the name of her target, and the statues' eyes glowed brightly as the lightning was drawn into the centre of the triangle, into a bright ball of pulsing light. Another word, and the ball of light flew straight up into the sky, and away.
* * * * *
Epignosis was carrying an important package through the streets of Hadri, his home town, when he saw a strange sight. From around the corner a flashing light shone, bright and vivid, and Epignosis peeked around the corner to investigate.
What he saw was a bright ball of pulsing light hovering a few feet above the street. It flickered a few times, and several small electrical flares burst out of it. Epignosis decided to get away from the strange phenomenon, but the light shook and wavered, and shot out in several directions. One piece of it blew a hole right through the building that Epi was behind, and struck him, killing him instantly.
* * * * *
Elsewhere, at a busy crossroad, a crowd had gathered around an awful sight. A body had been strung up to a signpost, headless, with its torso cut from gut to collarbone, entrails pulled out and pinned to other nearby signs in a careful, almost artistic display of gore.
"Ugh... so Brutal!" Murmurs from the gathered throng could be heard. "He was executed..." "How Brutal!" "I've never seen something so Brutal!" "Who was it?" "Where's his head??"
Eventually, the head was found, tossed like trash into a nearby bush. A despairing cry went out when they realized who it was.
"No... No! Not Typhoony! He had only just returned from his long journey! DAMN YOU! DAMN THIS CONFLICT!"
Many tears were shed for Typhoony, a great man whose time was far too short.
Typhoony and Epignosis have been killed. It is now Day 2.
Position 5 is active for Day 2 and Night 2

Oh ho ho ho!!! What a juicy night!! juicy juicy night indeed!! *Does a twirl*
MM, Unfurl! Let us pull our thoughts together to fully analyze this situation! Let us figure why these two!
...
Or not...
I will return eventually though! My work schedule does not allow me to analyze this fully currently... ALSO!!! it is past night 1 and you may look at me in all my beauty! I am DrWilgy, and I am most definitely a doctor!
*Grabs a nearby tablecloth, and pulls it knocking everything down that was on the table. Wilgy wraps the cloth around himself like a cape and jumps through the nearest window laughing.
He then pokes head back through the window he just left through, looks around, and then looks towards Ricochet*
Also @Rico, don't worry too much about me. Everything I have said has purpose, but there is nothing that I am currently hiding.

No you are not. This game, however, will not end without a resurrection or two. So these awesome dudes do have some chance of returning, if the fates and rez-controlling players end up feeling the same way.bea wrote:what the fucking fuck?? epi and typh??? really??? Epig, I am sorry to see him go because he doesn't half-ass his games, and he's always a factor in the thread... but Typhoony... whether or not you end up back in the game, I hope you will be here for A World Reborn in a few months.

I was not directly responsible for killing epi. I was intentionally baiting people into setting me up, though. I suspected that if I made enough of my intention to kill epi, someone else would do it.
I am very sad to see Typhoony die already, I agree with SVS it's a lame kill

You baited the baddies into killing Epignosis because he suspected you? Since you think HE was a baddie, how did you know that the baddie team he WASN'T on was the one who killed tonight? If he was on the other baddie team, this strategy would have only resulted in more days of derailment, far from the result you wanted.
That was a messed up thing to say, Golden.

Yeah, but if he was baiting them to kill Epi ASAP, how did he know that the team Epi wasn't on was the one who killed night one? I was one of the people who thought Golden sounded genuine, but that post was messed up.DharmaHelper wrote:Although in fairness, whoever killed Epi obviously did so to make Golden a pillar of discussion.S~V~S wrote:You baited the baddies into killing Epignosis because he suspected you? Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Day 2)
Oh I see what you mean. You're saying that if he actually thought Epi was bad, he'd have to know that Epi was not on the team that killed. There are also neutral killers, aren't there?S~V~S wrote:Yeah, but if he was baiting them to kill Epi ASAP, how did he know that the team Epi wasn't on was the one who killed night one? I was one of the people who thought Golden sounded genuine, but that post was messed up.DharmaHelper wrote:Although in fairness, whoever killed Epi obviously did so to make Golden a pillar of discussion.S~V~S wrote:You baited the baddies into killing Epignosis because he suspected you? Since you think HE was a baddie, how did you know that the baddie team he WASN'T on was the one who killed tonight? If he was on the other baddie team, this strategy would have only resulted in more days of derailment, far from the result you wanted.
That was a messed up thing to say, Golden.
Point well taken, though.

Yes, although the story sounds like baddies killed Epi. But he said he was baiting them to kill him. He thought Epi was on a baddie team. So he had to be baiting the baddie team that he thought Epi was NOT on. If it was the Night 2 team, the baiting would be pointless.
I just never heard anyone say anything like that, I guess.

Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Day 2)
@SVS - Multiple ideas are on the table with me at once.
I think epi could be neutral or bad, but I didn't think he was civ.
I also didn't think there was much chance of us ending up on the same team.
What I said is out there and I can see why it seems messed up. But I don't have a team right now, so it seems to me that taking out someone who I don't think will end up on my team is a smart move (I know, it's not certain, but I was trying to set up this move long before rey started pointing out to me that I was wrong to think it wasn't certain).

Not necessarily. I might have baited them into doing something night 2.S~V~S wrote:Yes, although the story sounds like baddies killed Epi. But he said he was baiting them to kill him. What exactly do you think is smart about being so openly anti-cooperative and ruthless?Golden wrote:@SVS - Multiple ideas are on the table with me at once.

Just want to throw this out there Golden. I think there is an ever so slight chance you and I could end up on a team together. I don't know how it would happen, but I just wanted to let you know before you went and started trying to get me lynched or nightkilled or something.

The answer: all of them, if you are a marmot.
