Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Day 10)
Welp. Cya again Rico. I legit hope you were unrecruited as you claimed, and sorry if you were. Seems a ton of people wanted you dead. I'll probably join you in a bit lol.
Other things of note that I've been stewing on:
***
***DH's artful dodging:
Day 6 lynch, position 5: failed
Night 6 kill attempt by Ubz, position 5: failed
Night 8 kill attempt by the Immortal, position 1: failed
Night 9 kill attempt by Ahriman, position 4: failed
3 different positions, by 4 different sources. lol What in the fuck are you? Jesus?
So let's look at the Immortal for a sec. He has been recruited. We knew that Day 2. This means he can't be killed until he is the last of his group.
IF DH is The Immortal, it would be insane, and I mean INSANE odds that of the randomly chosen players to either protect, kill or block, that he was chosen as his own target.
@HOSTS: Can the Immortal target himself for a kill? Can you answer that, or is that secret?
Nah, even then, I think it's pretty obvious what role he is. Ahriman. Come on mate, coulda used that shot better.
***
Position 4: Seemer
Just sayin..Ubz may be dead. I hate the advent of seemers, but isn't it possible...?
***Ahriman shot twice today. That's....interesting....

Slight error there that would be obvious when one reads the Night Post. It was the Rogue Mercenary and Azura that killed Ricochet, not Ahriman.Scotty wrote:Other things of note that I've been stewing on:

Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Day 10)
Looked over the roles and this is what I came up with:
Warden, which TH mentioned. My question is regarding the way this role works, absorbs a power? What does this mean? He has different position that steals a power, so they are obviously two different things.
Other thoughts:
Jilted lover in position 4 has a coupler effect with ?
Highborn assassin has a NK immunity in position 4, but that doesn't explain why there were two kill attempts by Ahriman, only might explain why some of these people may have survived.
The Immortal in position 4 chooses three people that nothing can happened at night. Again explains why some of these kills failed, but not some of the other weirdness.

So I suggest everyone playing the neutral game to channel their inner civvie
I'm currently involved in setting up wedding stuff for my aunt, with events all over this week. Tis why I am not around as much
looking at Wilgy and Synonym interactions and voting patterns might be a good way to start weeding through who might be bad. Especially considering Wilgy's pattern. On phone right now, but he mentioned in one of his last posts to "lynch SVS, llama, possibly Tranq and bea"
To "lynch" someone as opposed to just "suspect" someone is a strong choice of words. He had to have gotten info from his role for at least one or some of those players.
When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather;
not screaming like the people in his car

Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Day 10)
People who I am suspicious of:
Boomslang: His last post 5(!) days ago pinged me and it seems I am not alone in that, seeing as Ahriman tried to kill him.
llama: SD made an interesting case on him here. Since then Wilgy has mentioned him in one of his last posts as someone to look into.
Roxy: She sounded frustrated at DH. At this point in the game I expect that the baddies will be a bit annoyed with his knack of survival so I wonder if that was the cause.
People who largely have been missing lately:
Bass
Boomslang
Tranq
Come out and play

Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Day 10)
Interesting point. I wonder what would happen if a team would get no applicants. I guess someone would be drafted against their will. Since the deadline was last night I assume the recruits will take place some time during this day. But yeah I expect the hosts will notify the thread when the recruitments actually take place.Scotty wrote:Do you think the hosts would notify us if the baddie teams in fact recruited? Because based on BR's last post, it sure seemed like no one was biting.aapje wrote:Since the last recruitment opportunity for the baddies is out of the way all unrecruited player will either stay that way or they will be recruited by one of the baddie teams.
