Actually, I have some stuff to take care of, but this afternoon I'm going to do some actual work in this game, and go back and re-read MM.

so no one is going to look back on Elo? She has been so different this game it is unreal that I am the only one to notice - it is also why I think Epi was taken out early in a lycnh prob led by her teamies and since no one cba'ed to find their own suspicions ya'll are just playing follow the leader.

Re: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - Day 4
What a day. First of all its been raining here for days and days. But today, the power went out while I was baking two birthday cakes and a wedding cake (yes, my oven fit it all). I also had a diswasher full of dishes, laundry in the washer and laundry in the dryer. This is my life
I had to hand mix the last batch of batter and then transfer all my cakes to a couple ovens at Epi's place of work. Thank goodness we live in po-dunk Hoke and they see no problem with Mrs. Brown and her three chillin's in tow walk up into the school with pans full of half baked cake ready to use the culinary classroom while school is in session
All is well now though, the power came back on a little bit ago and the cakes are ready to be frosted and decorated tomorrow.
I can't believe greybonez. Did he even really fight for himself? I hate to see that. Also, Roxy, I am not bad. I have acted a bit different this game, yes. I am trying to change up my game here and there so I am less readable. Too bad it just makes players think I am bad. You, however, have acted differently imo and you STILL have yet to give any evidence as to WHY you think I am bad except that I am "acting differently". Where are the quotes, man, where are the quotes?

I wibble wobbled on her all game. I found her suspicious for an early ping, then gave her the botd, then found her suspicious again but she was insanified so no one wanted to lynch her, then we came back around to greybonez. I'd say I'm still suspicious of her but other things keep coming up to lead me away.Roxy wrote:so no one is going to look back on Elo? Night 4 - Bye Bye Birdie
BWT walked into the ballroom. A bear jumped out and ate him.
BWT has been killed by Monty. It is now Day 5. You have 24 hours to lynch someone.

RIP BWT
I do think that Dom and Sorsha are the most trustworthy here, however I hope that mafia wouldn't kill one of their own to fuck with me.
Sorsha, do you see Llama as more likely Monty?
Llama, are you voting Elo?
Splints, any ideas? You've been fairly absent, and your main contribution was agreeing with me about my points with greyboneZ.
Going through BWT's posts to see if I can get a read on any info he may have gleaned.
And I guess TH too, since he wants a rezz and may have some info.

Re: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - Day 5
Pssssshaaa as an addendum to my last post, I assume that one of Dom/Sorsha/Llama is Monty. But which one is it? I mean, mafia wouldn't attack Monty at night just to prove a point, would they?
Also, if the show is any indication, Phoebe Dysquith could be someone that could be a Benedict Arnold. She is one of his love interests in a triangle of sorts, after all.
---
You know what else is actually really bothering me? Golden has only 35 posts this game, and it's Day 5. Granted, it's not like there's a bevy of posts thus far, but it seems out of character.
Can anyone tell me a game in which Golden has had so few votes? Can anyone vouch for his activity when he is a baddie?

Cute.Golden wrote:Nope, are you?thellama73 wrote:Hey Golden, are you bad?
TH was all over Golden's ass before succumbing to death. Golden's suspects have been varied, for sure.
He voted Llama on Day 1.
He voted TH on Day 2. DH died that night. Expressed relief that Sorsha had lived, since he "already felt good about [her]".
Quite a change from his Day 1 ping and vote for Llama. Why the switch? No discernible reason or explanation as far as I can tell.Golden wrote:I do plan to vote and I do not plan to vote for you, llama.
I suspect Eloh, but find it a bit rough to lynch her while insanified. Especially when, as Dom said, it can't be a baddie tactic that she is insanified.
I am currently considering a vote for daisy, because:
1) When I was on her baddie team in guess who, she was similarly very quiet in the thread; and
2) I'd rather lynch people who I think are bad, rather than lynch people because it's 'less boring', and I'm not sure what motivated her to say that.
He voted GreyBonez both day 3 and 4. Quite the followthrough. Of course I look worse for wear for leading that charge, but we know that greyboneZ was NOT bad, so that vote is a safe place to hide.
Golden wrote:It may. Sorsha was willing to vote that way. Daisy couldn't call it boring...thellama73 wrote:Unfortunately, that doesn't help me.Golden wrote:Another driveby for greybonez. That does it. I'll give Daisy a chance to respond, I'm voting greybonez.
(If Grey is bad, I think you could be his teammate anyway, so saving you was not my first priority).
Golden wrote:Llama could also be asquith sr.
Ah, on the flip side it could vindicate Llama if grey flipped good..it would be a good set up.Golden wrote:Greybonez/MM/Eloh would make sense to me as a team. Scotty is bothering me, though, in that his views just changed a lot from being llama to now being greybonez/eloh team. I almost wonder if it could be Greybonez/Scotty/MM and if scotty is setting up the lynch of one of his own so that he can turn it on to Eloh tomorrow. Also, from day one greybonez/llama still makes a decent amount of sense.
Anyway, putting that all together I think a greybonez vote is the way to go, I'm on board.
From my telescope observatory up in the clouds, I see a distinct possibility that Golden is bad, and is defending Llama.
bullsuit.Golden wrote:Llama is one of a pool of people I haven't ruled out as a possible baddie, but him being bad would be more circumstantial - I haven't had any baddie vibes from him, and for me the worst strike against llama is greybonez day one drive by vote.
Golden wrote: Llama's vote pinged me.
Now the thing that's giving me a hard time to see him on the same team as Llama here is that he tied the vote- 2 for llama, 2 for Epi. It wasn't until greybonez sniped Epi that llama pulled ahead.Golden wrote:Because after originally bringing up lacey as an absentee, when he voted it he said he was doing it to 'piss off roxy', and that felt like a way of pre-empting any possible suspicion he could take from roxy so he could paint it as a reaction to him saying he wanted to piss her off, to me.
Golden has kept a safe distance from llama after day 1, and only uses the "llama could be bad" as dependent on greyboneZ' flipping bad. Which he would know was not the case, if he were mafia.

Gah, I just lost my post.
Long story short.
What is a benedict arnold?
Dom can't be monty. Sorsha could, I guess, but I've felt good about her all game. Llama would be my pick.
Yes, I've posted less. Welcome to a game in which I haven't had to constantly defend myself. My post counts are traditionally high because of how much effort I put in to trying to demonstrate to people why I am not bad.
Despite only having 35, I'm right up there eh?

Re: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - Day 5
Scotty, I've read your case and...
It's a good one. I can see why you find it convincing, and I might too.
But you are wrong. I'm not on a team with llama. And if you want to know what my baddie game meta is, its to not defend my teammates and leave clear trails back to them.
Take that how you will. I think there is a good chance llama is bad, but I am not.
If it was Llama and Eloh, who are viable third possibilities? MM, scotty, fingersplints. I think it is three out of that 5 in any event.
I don't think Roxy or Sorsha or Dom.
linki - because dom was revealed as being phoebe?

I'd pull that move for sure, it's definitely one that is in the bag of tricks. I think there are others who would too (like MM, llama - possibly you!). I just go on the fact that Sorsha is the person I think is least likely to be bad based on the thread. I get good vibes from her.Scotty wrote:And I wouldn't put it past a smart mafia team to put out a kill attempt on Monty. Gives dat street cred, especially if a mafia member has a green mushroom.

Actually, @Sorsha: what is your opinion of Golden? You two haven't interacted all game.
linki- well aside from her survival on night 2 (3?) what preempted your good vibes on her Golden?

Possibly the fact she seems to have been seeing the game the same way I have lol. I don't know, I just feel like she has made sense and looked good, to me. I haven't seen anything that I feel like could be deliberate manipulation (eg, like Eloh using strong adjectives to rile up Roxy). Gut feels.Scotty wrote:Actually, @Sorsha: what is your opinion of Golden? You two haven't interacted all game.

I mean, you did vote for him on Day 1. It takes some extraction to read between the lines here.

So I'm gonna vote for either Llama or Golden today.
Golden, how likely are you of voting Llama today, seeing as you now think there is a "good chance" he is bad?
linki- MM...Golden said that. I was asking him where he learned that piece of info.

Well, you didn't it appears. You just said Phoebe could be a Benedict.Scotty wrote:Pssssshaaa as an addendum to my last post, I assume that one of Dom/Sorsha/Llama is Monty.
Linki: I'd already voted llama.

Yeah, I read back too, Dom's role isn't revealed.
I just misread scotty's post, where he was talking about dom, sorsha, monty, phoebe, and got confused. I was trying to point out to Scotty his own logic. I think that thought process would have been clearer if I hadn't lost that big post.

Yeah, I would imagine Dom would have a smaller chance of being Monty due to the host not realizing he was alive. Monty's built-in extra life would make it harder to miss, I would think.
Anyway, I need to be up in 4 hours, so I'm voting Golden. I won't be around much tomorrow, so I need to vote now in case I don't make it.

Re: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - Day 5
@scotty - I would prefer a vote on eloh.
And given dom is in the mix for being monty, that reduces the chance for llama being monty too. I hadn't thought about monty being one of the NKed people before, but I guess it can be dom.
I think more likely is Dom was protected by the reverend...
Also scotty, you've pointed out my vote for llama on day one tying the vote. It was legit, and very early to bus a teammate like that... although I guess if llama is monty that would be less meaningful.
Anyway, I would consider my vote possibilities for today
1) eloh
2) llama
Noone else.

Re: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - Day 5
Even if my case on Golden/Llama isn't right, I think there is still a connection to Sorsha as well. That's something I intend to monitor.
Also, llama's still got me in his back pocket, and it smells like an alpaca petting zoo around here.
Your logic gate is flapping limply in the wind tonight, my man.

Golden, that was what I led with today- Dom, Sorsha, and llama are the candidates for Monty here. AND if the reverend saved Dom, then of COURSE he's not Monty. Monty would live through that either way.Golden wrote:@scotty - I would prefer a vote on eloh.

Re: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - Day 5
Oh, me trying to explain why I'm not llama's teammate.
Well, I mean... I know I'm not. I didn't think that the whole way through, because it seemed logical when I began the sentence. It was less logical when I thought about the fact that the argument is that he is Monty.
All I know, Scotty, is that I'm not bad. You've voted for me now, so I can't change that. I'm not trying to protect llama and I don't have much I can say in the way of defence there. It probably doesn't help that its Friday night and I'm not at my sharpest, I'm having my Friday night unwind blob.
I'll be more engaged tomorrow
linki - Umm... that seems like your logic fail. I would say someone could still be monty even if saved by the reverend?
But all I'm saying is, from the position of someone who has hosted a bit... it's more likely you forget that someone has been targetted, rather than forget a part of their role. In my experience. I have just been assuming Dom was protected by the rev all game, clearly I shouldn't be assuming though.

Out of the three of us that have survived death, yes I do. I'm biased on this opinion but- I don't think the mafia team would burn Monty's one extra life to try to make a player look like he/she isn't Monty. I think I know why Dom and I both survived.Scotty wrote:RIP BWT![]()
I do think that Dom and Sorsha are the most trustworthy here, however I hope that mafia wouldn't kill one of their own to fuck with me.
Sorsha, do you see Llama as more likely Monty?
I'm just not sure why you were saying it's more likely that llama is Asquith Sr. Like... You jumped in there pretty quick to point out that it was more likely that he was Asquith vs Monty. If you know who Monty really is I could understand that certainty.
