This is why I said that. I think Roxy is bad. I think you could be bad. But my thinking Roxy is bad has nothing to do with my thinking of you being bad and vise-versa. And anyway, Roxy has been defending you since you came into the game. So keeping hushed is not an option :P. Llama was not always on my side according to his posts. He has just recently thought to defend me. So, I am saying that if he was actually helping me this whole time b/c we are both bad and on a team together, then why would he all of a sudden openly defend me. Wouldn't he just keep quiet about saving me as you think is happening? Anyway. I am not bad and I don't think llama is either.fingersplints wrote:So it's weird for Rox to defend me, but not for llama to defend you? By your own logic, why wouldn't Rox keep hushed about that sort of thing if we were bad?

Re: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - Day 5
Why would keeping hushed not be an option? She could have just not said anything. That seems like a pretty viable option to me, especially considering I had barely any mentions she wouldn't need to openly defend me. You on the other hand have a lot of suspicion, and would gain some from having someone defend you.
The way it looks to me is: llama says he is suspicious of you. Once the suspicion of you picks up he suddenly switched to defending you, making the earlier suspicion look fake. If you were teammates he could then say he mentioned suspicion of you early. Do you see now why this is suspicious to me?

I only meant that the word keep implies she is already hushing. She cant KEEP being hushed about you being her teammate if she is already defending you. That is all I meant

No, no, no. I meant you are already not hushing b/c you have defended her form the get go. You can't KEEP doing something that you weren't doing in the first place. Anyway, this has quickly turned into a very silly and unproductive conversation.Roxy wrote:Um how am I already hushing when just earlier today I said I thought she was civ?

It also wouldn't surprise me if Roxy or splints were bad. If MM is good, I'm gunning for llama 146% tomorrow. But I think at this point I don't feel bad voting for MM

Day 6 - Poor Monty
The family converged on the roof, facing down MM angrily. He backed away to the precipice, but they continued to advance on him.
"You don't know what you're doing!" MM implored. "I'm not the killer!"
"Oh yeah? I know you tried to kill me twice!" declared Sorsha.
"And I never liked you to begin with!" said Llama.
"Fine, it was me. And I have no doubt the rest of you will fall after my demise. One way or another, the D'Ysquith fami-"
They pushed him mid-rant, and MM fell into a thicket far below. As he extricated himself, the mob pushed a gargoyle off the roof and crushed him. Monty Navarro had been thwarted at last.
MM has been lynched. He was Monty Navarro. It is now Night 6. You have 24 hours to send your PMs in, although I'm going to see the Hobbit tomorrow, so I'm not making any promises about the time the night phase ends.

Also woohoo! I'm now behind llama. I still think Golden was bad. Which, to me, leaves just 1 more (or Phoebe, if my assumption that she has been searching for Monty and found him is correct.)
If we can find that last mafia tomorrow, and we still don't win, I'm certain that Phoebe is the last one to search for. But I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Elo pushed the MM vote ahead, which IMO looks a lot better than Roxy. She's on the top of my board tomorrow. What's everyone else think?

Night 6 - In Which Several Interesting Events Occur
Elohcin was resting easy by the fire in her bedroom. Now that Monty had been defeated, the family could finally stop worrying about killers on the loose. Unfortunately, she didn't take into account the killers on the loose.
Sibella Holland crept quietly into Elohcin's quarters and pulled the pink ribbon from her hair. "This is for dear Monty!" she shrieked, pulling the ribbon tight around Elohcin and choking the life out of her. Sibella's love would be avenged!
*************************************************************************
Chauncey was on the warpath, blindly charging about Highhurst to find the villains. He burst into the kitchen, where Scotty and Sorsha were having tea and crumpets (in the middle of the night for some reason). Chauncey picked up a meat cleaver and hurled it at Scotty, who deflected it with a convenient butcher knife. It went sailing into Sorsha's chest and she hit the floor. Luckily for her, she was wearing a very thick wool coat which softened the blow. It was a really thick coat. Scotty and Sorsha fled before Chauncey had a chance to finish them off.
Elohcin has been killed. It is now Day 7. You have 24 hours to lynch someone.

RIP Elo.
I don't know why mafia felt the need to go after Elo tonight. I mean, on one hand it would appear that Roxy looks bad here. On the other hand, I don't want to think that it would be that easy.
But since Chauncey doesn't trust me, that's never a good sign. I'll defend if need be, but I can assure you, Chauncey, that I am the wrong target.

Like, this seems pretty desperate with the MM lynch looming yesterday. I think Roxy is probably bad, but I will not rule out splints.Roxy wrote:I wish you all would lynch Elo.
Do you not wonder why she is voted for but never quite reaches a lynch total?
And now you follow llama who said he would help me lynch Elo and when he could have voted her and actually lynched her - he did not. He gave some razzle dazzle and voted for MM. Seems he is really trying to protect Elo. Why?
Ithink they are on a team together and feel they can wifom their way out of anyone putting them together bc their team of 3 are still alive.
WE are losing only civs this lynch is important please lets not waste it by following someone who lies aka llama.

Re: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - Day 7
What makes me nervous is that Roxy calls splints civ and splints defends Roxy. I'm still operating under the assumption that Golden was bad. If that's the case, then one of Roxy/splints is putting too much emphasis on the 'I trust the other because I know her' card.
My summary of Splints' reads this game since subbing in:
-can someone catch me up?
-greyboneZ looks bad (he did, tbh)
-Elo is inconsistent, has a double standard saying Roxy is buddying up with splints while simultaneously buddying up with llama.
Math time!
So there's 6 of us left.
If we mislynch today, and Chauncey takes another shitty shot tonight, worst case scenario where Golden is civ, leaving 4 players, essentially losing civs the game in lylo.
If we mislynch today, there are still 2 mafia, and Chauncey takes a good shot tonight, we're left with 2 civs and 1 mafia.
IF there are still 2 mafia left, and we lynch mafia today, we have 4 civs left and 1 mafia going into the night, and can still win with a shitty Chauncey kill and a mafia lynch the next day.
Mafia have tried and failed to kill: llama, Sorsha and Dom. Barring the most unbelievable sacrifice by mafia and idiotically coincidental protection from the doc, I see almost no chance they are bad.
Which leaves me, Splints and Roxy as candidates.

I just got a good thought based on that math. Let me know what you all think.
If we lynch one of Roxy/splints today, and Chauncey takes a shot at either me or splints/Roxy tonite
Night, civs will win the next day anyway with a lynch of the remaining of us (though if I survive both we'll win de facto anyway)
If my math or logic is wrong, let me know.

Re: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - Day 0
Here are a couple of posts from Fingersplints I think are worth noting:
Recall that Splints replaces Lipsticklacey, and then read this:
fingersplints wrote:Actually I don't want to miss another vote so I am going to vote Elo right now. I trust Roxy and I think she is right. It does seem like Elo has been being saved by llama. Iirc he is the one who first commented to me about greybonez and then when he was lynched he was like "you all should have listened to me about MM". seems sketchy
Very unsubtle defending of Roxy, and notably the only time she mentioned MM.fingersplints wrote:I asked for a summary and literally the only thing I got was about greybonez. I don't think it's fair to say it's jumping on bandwagon considering I just entered the game so how was I supposed to express suspicion before then? Also while greybonez ended up being civvie I really think defending himself some would have gone a long way.
I'm not sure how you know what's going on in my life to judge how much time I should have or have not had to catch up, but I'm pretty sure everyone here except you who is not playing (has played, or is cohosting with me) the game I am hosting, so does not know that some pretty bad shit happened there and I have been preoccupied with that. I'm keeping up with what is being said now, but I literally haven't had a chance to read prior. (Minus greybonez - who I did read all host posts before voting)
I'm going to try to reread Elo first when I get a chance. I'm pretty good at reading Roxy, and I feel from her posts that she is a civvie. She seems pretty insistent, so I wonder if there is something there.
Recall that Splints replaces Lipsticklacey, and then read this:
I think a Roxy/Splints team looks probable. I would probably be more comfortable with a SPlints lynch than Roxy though, since the Eloh NK could be a setup.Roxy wrote:I want to vote llama for saying to lynch Lips.
And we all know how I feel about noobs amirite?
Epignosis wrote:If llama is good, it means we exist in a universe in which multitasking llama can call out the first of two mafia while simultaneously calling out two civilians.
I don't want to live in that universe.

Also I'm confused by your syntax: which kill attempt do you find most interesting? Mine by a civ or Elo's by mafia? Considering you have been gunning for her all game.Roxy wrote:Hmm interesting kill attempt wonder why/how Scotty survived?

I'd like to hear what Roxy and splints have to say about one another.

What exactly do you want to "hear" Sorsha? I said all I feel about splints more than once this game. Do you want me to tell you she likes peanut butter almost as much as I do? Do you want me to list her fave led zep song? Maybe tell you I love her dog chico too much?

George Washington Carver invented peanut butter, and I'm partial to Achilles' Last StandRoxy wrote:What exactly do you want to "hear" Sorsha? I said all I feel about splints more than once this game. Achilles' Last Stand is a good song, but not my favorite. I've actually been lynched in a mafia game, twice, for posting my favorite Led Zeppelin video.
I still can't see this as being Roxy's baddie game tbh, maybe she is fooling me but I honestly don't see it. Wrong does not equal bad.

And also if you still feel like she's civvie, knowing that we're getting down to one, possibly two bad guys left.

Re: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - Day 7
I will put my vote wherever, as long as it is on either Roxy/splints/me if need be. I'm under the assumption that someone's vote will be forced, so let's make sure we can at least tie it with the one mafia picks. and let's hope that vote isn't worth 2.
If you are having your vote forced, you should probably do so soon so we know what we're up against.
Maybe that mafia role is dead. Who knows.

I'm in the same boat Scotty. I'm leaning more towards Roxy myself.

Splints... do you think its Roxy that's bad? Or someone else?
Dom was the mafias night one target. In your opinion is that someone that Roxy would want out of the game early?
