This is what I see, an observant Epi. Not a bad or SK Epi.
All that said, I am voting Mac. His reaction to all this SK stuff reads to me like a child who got caught stealing candy from the pantry and he's blaming it on his brother.
Maternal mafia instincts engage!

Why aren't I in your Mafia list?
Who are you?
The person who notices that you only list 5 Mafia to "round it out" when supposedly listing the entire remaining Mafia. A team of 7, one being killed, should make 6. But you, for some inexplicable reason, think that there are 5 Mafia remaining.

Mac, I know you're having fun but now you're distracting from the hunt. Players who don't know you are going to be forced to judge you, and I doubt that will end well.

Oh, I didn't see the other arrow until I opened the full image.
That tab also says "View Topic", meaning he is reading one of the many forum topics on this site, possibly even another page in this thread. But also note he has a mysterious second window open.

A few of us have been talking about making espers and/or Diiny dead for a while now, and both of them have remained essentially silent on the matter (I see no reason to assume a silencer is in play). Pressure votes please if you haven't already joined a bandwagon.

Epignosis wrote:I must say I am increasingly suspicious of Black Rock, and I'll tell you why.
Her husband got lynched and was bad, yet she's missing votes and coming in here talking about Roxy being the serial killer. She lives with LC. She has heard him speak in real life all the time, knows his tone, has witnessed his ruses, and should have a solidi(ish) view of what he would do or would not. I'm just seeing no effort on that front, and if Black Rock is civilian, then I think her involvement would be more valuable than it is.
Huh? I missed one vote. I'm still suffering the consequence because I screwed up my punishment, not because I missed voteS. I subbed in near the end of LC's lynch and I had no idea what was going on the game. He's dead. What would you like me to, tell you if he sounded bad before he was lynched? He's bad, he was lynched and we were told so. I don't really understand this at all.

I have been paying attention to my own things and don't know either well. I could put a pressure vote on but it wouldn't be real. I don't have any real opinion of them.
I deserve to die because being pretty does not distract the hosts from not performing well on punishments.
Also a post got eaten. I agree that drawing the immediate conclusion of "that extra tab increases the likelihood that he is Mafia" is illogical. I have a tab on the first page of any game I'm actively posting in. At the moment I also have two open for the sock game that recently concluded as well. Tab count, similar to post count, does not a Mafia make.
Motel, he already did. He was penalized for non-participation, and in the rules it states that players in that category can't win the game.
I PM'd the hosts about it, and the benevolent sockfaces said that since it was unavoidable and I gave prior warning to my absence, my non-participation will not be counted as such.

So if my alignment wins, I will still win.
Righty-o.
That kinda brings up a cultural diff I've noticed. Over here you guys pile all kinds of info into your posts so they're these massive walls that fire reads and replies everywhere, where as (not always though) in RYM i feel like if someone puts two separate cases or points in a single post I'm suspicious of them because I feel like they're trying to slip a fake one through with a good one or that there's some kind of misdirection going down. Give a real thought its due and give it its own space to breathe.

I don't know how the RYM forum handles nested quotes, but a lot of the "wall of text" syndrome that's been going on this game has been from people continually quoting each other without properly snipping the quotes. To be fair, sometimes the relevant posts are far back in the quote chain, but it gets ridiculous, especially on mobile.
Hey, I'm not going to be able to post here for the next 36-48 hours, as I'm travelling somewhere for a couple of days. Please forgive me (blame my parents).

Correct.
How is that in any way the same case? The BTSC gain was a "new action" and the cast vote continuation is an exception from the rule that dead players don't get to vote anymore. It doesn't prove any rule that it must be specified that dead players cannot vote anymore. That's just logical.
In fact, the example only that roles normally don't have to specify if the player needs to be alive for an action to be completed. It's just logical that, should the player die, the action won't be completed anymore. Any specification is an exception. Lack of any specification means no exceptions are made.
"Nah, that takes me back to "dead is dead". Dead can't decide for the living anymore, unless they could decide before dying."
Unless I'm misunderstanding you, you're saying dead can't influence a game. You of all people should know that's not the case.
And even if that's not what you are saying, others have said it explicitly.
Yes, but you pointed an exception. Based on another player's active abilities.
You also pointed at activity priviledges (such as voting), not night powers.

Matt F wrote:Before anyone else mentions it, yes, I've voted to lynch a civvie four days in a row now.
Sorry town
It's not so much that you've voted for 4 civvies in 4 days that bothers me, personally. I don't really love that everyone you've voted for is dead, but it is still only 2 people so it's not totally damning yet.
I think your Mac theory is completely cockamamie, and I HATE cockamamie theories, as Syndicate players know. However, I think a baddie you would be foolish to pursue it so forcefully and for so long (over 5 pages). I finished reading that exchange and found myself leaning more civ on you than before.
Also, for the record, I don't know Roxy the best, but all her posts have read absolutely classic Roxy to me. The devil-may-care, I-play-my-game-and-no-one-can-stop-me attitude, the tunneling on Matt F, and just general tone seem normal to me.
I suppose I get fingersplints defending her, but as far as I can recall, defending her is literally the only thing fingers has done all game. That looks increasingly shady to me as interesting things happen in thread.
this is as much investment you are going to get out of me. I joined into the game late and in an impossible to catch up spot but was positive. Very nice of me. Then I was largely ignored. No one welcomed me. No one even tried to give me a summary I asked for. No one answered my question if there was a silencer. sorry if you guys wanted more out of me should have interacted with me sooner.
If you read through my posts I defended her and then people questioned my defense of her. It's not me who only wants to bring up Rox but if you are all going to keep questioning it then I'm forced to respond to it
I deserve to die because I missed a vote
JaggedJimmyJay wrote:Y'all should take a side in the Roxy/Black Rock/fingersplints combat. I find fingersplints the most suspicious, due in part but not entirely to the content from llama that preceded her.
If you all side towards me being bad you can remember when I am lynched and revealed as a civvie how jay several times tried to push the attention away from BR towards me.
Just an FYI; for the rest of today, neither Matt F nor Roxy may say each others name, quote each other, allude to each other or in any way shape or form refer to each other. I will cry if they do so, and I can cry longer, harder & louder than anyone.

MacDougall wrote:I know that. Don't you find it weird that he would just have two browser tabs open on the home page of the site? Like, who does that?
I have had on my computer for the syndicate about 8 tabs open for a month because I was hosting and I needed multiple areas at a time.
Epi is not suspicious to me for it, since it's plausible he keeps one open for moderator reasons or some shit. Or maybe he wanted to keep open TSM to see he won.
plus he also seems to find BR suspicious. So he is ok in my book!

Can you explain it with simple words? Your theory is completely unprovable tbh. There are two roles we have no idea what they do marked with question marks. I think it has do with these unknown roles and not by a townie role.
If by "his theory" you mean Girlfriend/Place theory, why is it "completely unprovable"? So far we've found out the only thing that would make it unlikely is if the SK was blocked from killing - which he obviously wasn't.
Plus, he's also right that, double-targetting aside (meaning the SK can't target the same player again on N5), the SK could take advantage of his role.
Why is your "something must be happening behind the [Secrets] roles" more "provable" than Mac's theory?
Well for once it says "power" usually in mafiascum cannon law "power" and "kill" is two different words. Unless by "power" here you mean "powers and kills" which again this is a complete different planet and I still try to get my head around some of your stuff.
Mr Modman is "kill" another "power" ?
A kill counts as a "power" or ability, just like any other role mechanic.
For example, for Girlfriend Is Better, it is irrelevant whether the role is targeted with a role check, a kill, or any other power; they all fall under the chance for duplication if not blocked.
