Re: [DAY 7] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
I looked through your posts and your big mega reason for isolating these three names and apparently never considering anyone else seriously was from a vote wagon way back in the game. Why? Have your reads not changed based on further events since then? Is there a role (whether its yours or you want us to think it is) that would make you so narrow minded to only consider these names? Or are you just fixating on something to make you look interested enough to disinvolve you from current shit in the thread?seaside wrote:Diiny wrote:I don't think seaside, as bad as he looks, had a read on me that was dependant on the scumminess of espers or anything so I'm not understanding how we're divining from his comments an expectance of espers to flip town when he's nk'd. Am I misreading?Metalmarsh89 wrote:I understand players won't read my whole thing on seaside, but I would like responses on the bit with the eyes and the spoiled quote below it.
My theory is that at least 1 out of you three is scum.
It is possible 4 u both to be though.
I don't see the point in wasting a lynch on someone who was gonna die anyway.

I would like third parties to consider what context I am missing here, since seaside has thus far declined to provide one.Epignosis wrote:What is the context?seaside wrote:Nice job at taking things outta contextEpignosis wrote:Takeaway the third:Spoiler: show
seaside was the third vote for LC, and the second for Diiny. His reason for LC was "survival" (quotations appropriate). So with only two votes at the time (hours before the deadline), seaside puts his vote on LC. Earlier, he had voted rundontwalk, and also said this:
Yep, that all looks bad to me.seaside wrote:I must admit, i have a pretty strong town read on mac atm. despite me calling him a rogue earlier.
If I took it out of context, I would like to know so that I may make a more educated vote (and that will probably be 3J again).
If I didn't take it out of context, and seaside says I did, then he needs to be lynched.

Speed analysis of DrWilgy:
Quick review of DrWilgy:
- Mac middle of the pack in his points-based vote analysis
- Strong resistance to Mac's treatment of Sorsha
- Consistent opposer of Mac in the thread
- Mac accused Doc of tunneling him
- Prodded Mac for that "information" he promised from the Sorsha town flip
- Prodded by Mac publicly to talk more
- Includes Mac in scumlist on Day 5
- Questions Mac and others about their night targets, probably against rules to answer
Votes:
Dusk 0: BWT (11), MM (3)
Day 1: BWT (12)
Day 2: LC (18)
Day 3: Golden (28)
Day 4: Devin (31)
Day 5: bcornett (7)
Day 6: MacDougall (4)
~~~
If you're going to accuse Doc, then that means you're accusing him of bussing both confirmed mafia (and bussing Mac hard). That's not impossible, but you have to acknowledge that this is the truth of his content. I think he looks decent in his votes, and the strongest look in his posts is his treatment of Mac with regards to how he handled the Sorsha lynch.
I realize that's two interjections and that I've doubly failed your test, but I have no idea about TheFloyd73. He said some things that he, at this juncture, deserves to be lynched over (I still don't get the "in the thread you mean?" stuff). Re: [DAY 7] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
Speed analysis of Elohcin:
- Chummy with Mac early in the game, found him funny
- Voted with Mac on Day 1 because he made her laugh
- Voices a strong town read on Mac and others on Day 3
- Refuses to vote Mac on Day 4, reiterates her town read on him
- Suggests on Day 5 that Matt F made good points against Mac, no specifics stated
- Turns against Mac in general on Day 5 based on his reaction to SK accusations
- Mac directly asks Elo to move her vote, she says she will if he gives her a good reason (and then doesn't)
- Tells Mac he's being an asshat on Night 5
- Seems to be gaining conviction in a baddie read on Mac on Night 5
- Helps lynch Mac on Day 6
Elo's votes:
Dusk 0: none
Day 1: Diiny (24)
Day 2: Sorsha (33)
Day 3: Zebra (7)
Day 4: Sorsha (24)
Day 5: Mac (19)
Day 6: Mac (21)
~~~
One can suggest her early treatment of Mac is a bit suspicious. The chumminess doesn't mean much to me, but she was somewhat fierce about her town read on him. This read nosedived to baddiedom quickly though and she never relented until he was dead. My gut tells me that this reversal was based on his behavior when he went chaotic and not on a ploy as his team mate.

At least not in a way that is known to call someone scum, build a case and lynch someone. Mac acted in a very non Mac way with DrWilgy someone he should have bullied imo. I pointed that as potentially scum interaction yet it still never outdo all the times I saw and read Mac as town. When somebody looks town to you and does one scummy thing do you immediately lynch him? I always had him as a town read in all of my rainbow lists. Am I consistent or not? Floyd has only done scummy things and that's why he's my lynch candidate. doesn't that make sense? What does?Diiny wrote:Choutas, I showed you where you called mac a scum read. explain pls.
If you think I'm scum you should vote for me. Don't wait for a bandwagon to hop on make that bandwagon and suffer the consequences for it since I'm town all the way.
The only guy who has suspected me in a regular and respectful manner is Motel Room.
JJJ has activated the self-preservation mode apparently I don't blame him.

I think it's impossible to be thrilled about a Floyd lynch because there's just no way to draw a lynch-caliber case from his content. I think his voting behavior is pretty suspicious though. Assuming I get offed today I am not worried that he'd drift on by unfettered -- he has too many enemies in the thread.

I'm going to do an Epi analysis because I think it'd be a poor use of my time.
It wouldn't be ridiculous to suggest he and Mac could have been team mates involved in a coordinated bus considering Mac's treatment of LC and Epi's intuition about that very sort of coordination. The reason I don't think they're on the same team is Mac's insistence that Epi was the SK -- whether Mac really believed that or not, I don't see this as a beneficial move for Mac on any front if Epi is his team mate. He'd bus his team mate without enjoying any of the town credit it'd be meant to yield.

I have a reasonable doubt now, and seaside is getting my vote at this time.
I have thus changed my vote to seaside because of how he has responded to my assessment of him.
If Jay is civilian, do you think there would be more mafia jumping on board the Jay wagon or not?

Re: [DAY 7] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
I don't think what I post much. I'm not scum caught a lie but a townie struggling to contribute in a meaningful manner and I don't put much thought on how to word my posts. It might look scummy to you but I never voted for Mac ever. How do you read that? Either he's my scummate or I never thought he was scum, never. I mean I don't blame you for saying what you did but a post and that post in particular(since that's what we're talking about) is not damning of me cause if you read all of my posts you'd clearly see I called Mac a townie all the days up until today and never voted for him. The guys I've voted to lynch all game where players I called scum much more than I called town and without the context of my post history that is lost.Diiny wrote:Choutas wrote:At least not in a way that is known to call someone scum, build a case and lynch someone. Mac acted in a very non Mac way with DrWilgy someone he should have bullied imo. I pointed that as potentially scum interaction yet it still never outdo all the times I saw and read Mac as town. I always had him as a town read in all of my rainbow lists.Diiny wrote:Choutas, I showed you where you called mac a scum read. explain pls.Yeah nah if this isn't you calling him scum rather than pointing out something scummy about him I don't know WHAT is.Choutas wrote: "This is mafia interaction calling it. Mac and Wilgy are in this together"
Whoever has played with me knows how I play. I don't blame most guys for not knowing me and what I do but again without a general feel of someone's playstyle and overall reads throughout the game most stuff is scummy even mine.
Again do what you must by all means. I just hope that the ninety times I called Mac town could somehow exonerate me from the 2-3 times I called town scum. If that makese sense to you of course.

Re: [DAY 7] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
Speed analysis of thellama73 / fingersplints:
- On Day 1 llama suggests Mac's aggressiveness warrants a closer look but does not commit to calling it suspicious. This was llama's only Mac-relevant content.
- Mac gripes about llama's vague assertion.
- Mac votes llama during the lynch of LC when those two along with bcornett were all close in the tally
- Mac's read on llama reverses to a town read after LC flips scum, he doubted "both wagons would be mafia" due to numerical improbability
- Mac is critical of llama's voting pattern while still calling him a town read
- splints's only Mac-relevant content was to talk to him about how many tabs she uses during TS mafia games
- Mac suggests that if splints is scum, the LC lynch was likely a "bus job"
Their votes:
Dusk 0: MM (12), BWT (13)
Day 1: Diiny (6)
Day 2: Diiny (24)
Day 3: Russ (20)
Day 4: none
Day 5: Black Rock (17)
Day 6: Russ (9)
~~~
There are some pings here. Mac's suggestion that llama was a big scum read before changing that to a town read based solely on mathematical probability isn't a great look. Both of these players were also very limited in their Mac-relevant content. The votes aren't great: during both mafia lynches they were on inconsequential wagons. It should be noted though that they were both very early votes.
Grade: D+
Having his sight locked on bcornett has worked for him distancing himself from every lynch and keep his ass safe up until now. He has never considered most lynch bandwagons if I recall correctly. I agree with this conclusion, this looks bad for seaside. Is there some context that you have overlooked?Epignosis wrote:I would like third parties to consider what context I am missing here, since seaside has thus far declined to provide one.Epignosis wrote:What is the context?seaside wrote:Nice job at taking things outta contextEpignosis wrote:Takeaway the third:Spoiler: show
seaside was the third vote for LC, and the second for Diiny. His reason for LC was "survival" (quotations appropriate). So with only two votes at the time (hours before the deadline), seaside puts his vote on LC. Earlier, he had voted rundontwalk, and also said this:
Yep, that all looks bad to me.seaside wrote:I must admit, i have a pretty strong town read on mac atm. despite me calling him a rogue earlier.
If I took it out of context, I would like to know so that I may make a more educated vote (and that will probably be 3J again).
If I didn't take it out of context, and seaside says I did, then he needs to be lynched.
@ Seaside - What context? Please explain.
JJJ I give you the permission to build a lynch around me and bump me off. It will give me time to work on other things and you will finally see what I am. You've been having me as townie and baddie I must have confused you right?
Re: [DAY 7] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
Hey all, sorry I have been AWOL. Worked until after ten last night and immediately went to bed, and had another huge day today. I'll be back to my usual self by the weekend.
I don't know how to feel about TheFloyd, but I still find it hard to believe JJJ would have bussed LC the way he did and then been so supatown all this time. I can definitely see why people are voting there, but I won't join. I'm gonna read through Floyd now and see if I get anything from him one way or another, to decide whether to put a vote there.
