I'm having a difficult time deciding whether you are just misunderstanding every single point I have to make, or whether you are doing so on purpose to form a narrative. I would also like to hear Sig's response to this change of opinion regarding Mac. I tend to believe baddies go over their posts more than civvies, but he's changed his mind very fast, which is just weird. In addition, Sig, Epi said we can talk about the night 0 (or is it 1) items. Since BR said she voted for you because of that item, can you honestly say you have no idea why she would do that? Why didn't you question her during the night before she died?


Regarding Floyd, if he is bad, he's playing an awful game (no offence). My only question is, how many "slips" can someone make as a baddie, knowing this is his second baddie game in a row. I would have thought that if he's bad, he'd be more careful this time. So I'm still thinking about this.

Well my item won't work anymore, I had the ability to take a players item during any night phase. That doesn't seem like an item worth voting me over but she did. I am taking into consideration the mafia killed her based around her item they were unaware of what it was and could have thought it had some sort of killing ability. With her killed night 1 and if I'm lynched today nobody would posses these items. This could be a mafia move to get these items out of play especially if as some thought these had to do with killing.

Basically, the case against me comes down to 'golden is displying civilian behaviour, because he is not going to tunnel zebra forever.' Thats insane. I'm trying not to be the golden who goes blindly on tunneling all game. I'd like to be a good citizen of the town.

By the way, my normal civilian meta would support me tunneling zebra and never letting up. No-one would think twice about it. They'd just say 'thats golden'. I'll say what I said to SVS in recruitment mafia... take the blinkers off that you think you have a good theory, and actually think about what is a good civilian thing to do from my perspective, and ask yourself 'why, if golden is mafia, would he put himself out like that'. There was literally no purpose for me to do it if I was bad. I explained why I was doing it very clearly.

I'm always getting lynched as civilian for being honest and saying what my plan is to do. And yet, I'm always civilian when I do this. If I'm bad, I'm not going to be so honest. I'll set up my vote, and I'll just stick with it.

Player B replaces back into the game. Player B says "I think Player A is bad but I will not pursue their lynch for the sake of the town." (technically, I believe that's what she was saying, but I've YET to get a straight answer)

Yes. you are out of your mind.

But....you could be on to something. I don't know yet. I'm not ready to jump down the rabbit hole with you so to speak, but it could be a possibility. Or they both could see how their D1 argument lead to a civ lynch and they could both still be civ and reading each other that way. Or one of them could be bad and one of them could be good. I doubt anyone's taking their eyes off zebra and golden anytime soon.

@Matt - I try not to do it because I want to find balance in that aspect of my game. It's not fun for people when I tunnel too hard. I don't like raining on other people's fun. On the other hand, I recognise it can be effective. I have to find a balance.

I don't think the civilian cause is aided by me ramming the same point down people's throats over and over again. I try to trust that they already have the point. That's where the balance lies for me.

And sometimes I just can't contain myself, and for all I know if zebra didn't die and kept coming hard at me, I would have kept coming hard at her. But I wanted people to KNOW my plan... so that they would know that if I backed off it wasn't because I wasn't suspicious of zebra, but just that I didn't want to keep harping on about it. If I didn't say it, I felt people would think I'd just dropped the suspicion. It's not even to say I would not have voted zebra. I just would have dropped the intensity and the attempt to convince people to follow me into the lynch.

I knew something about that sig post bothered me. I thought he'd listed golden as a slight suspish and floyed as a stronger suspish but ordered them backwards in the inital post and I quoted it to point it out, but I was wrong. He did list floyd first. I'm glad the post caught my eye as well even if it was intitally for the wrong reason.

FTR, I did read the beginning parts of the argument. But when I shut you out, I shut golden out too. I answered someone with the above already but I will answer yours as well. I would say it has the potential to be beneficial from what people in game has hinted about the spice it doesn't sound very helpful so it all depends on what item you choose to take. I don't quite understand the second question. I'd assume BK got to use her item but it didn't help her since she was NK'd, thus she didn't actually have time to use her new item she just got one. If that was your question if not I'm not understanding it.

What do youthink about my theory of the mafia trying to get ride of us since they suspected our items could kill and were worried about one of us shooting them? They would have Nk'd Bk first since she is more skilled then me. This is just guesswork on my part. I personal think the BK kill was done since there is no way to trace it back to the killers, but my other theory could play into it. I would say it all depends how serious the mafia team takes the items and how much the items affects the game.

I see okay so her item did the same as mine, but our outcome could vary since we could take any item. I would assume she took someones item as well. I'm not sure how that would work since she was NK but from the way it seems to me if she put in the action to take an item then yeah she got one before she was NK'd and when I say an item I mean one from the warehouse.

So she didn't know the outcome but she new the ability perhaps she tried to lynch me since she wanted to be the only one with the item and didn't want me to mention it. Or perhaps she honestly thought it was best for nobody else to have it. While the item was neat I find it strange she voted for me based on it since it doesn't seem that powerful.

Since you know I tunnel like a mofo (and aren't half the grandmasta you are at catchin' baddies), I sincerely hope you find your balance and make yourself a better player. It's definitely something I have trouble with. I've been trying hard not to push so much this game, but in the case of Zebra, it's been really hard since I haven't gotten a straight answer out of her. But as you said, and as I've guessed, she does think you're bad. I just don't know why she couldn't say it. It really seemed like she blew her top, as well, because I was simply asking her what her stance was on you.

This would be the post I civ lean on MAc this is the same post were early in it I said Mac seemed scummy. The main reason I changed my opinion on Mac is based around a tone read and that he said I was one of the ones he found suspicious. He wasn't attempting to get me lynched just mentioned his thoughts on me as well as others. He remained consistent with his opinion of Draconus.
It is mostly based around the fact how he mentioned he was suspicious of me, know if he starts picking apart my posts and bandwagons me my opinion will no doubt change, but from his post of four suspects and his tone right know I have him as a civ lean.

I originally put him as scumish since he voted for matt and then zebra defended him. When Zebra gained some votes and closer to the end of the day Mac said he liked Golden's case and would vote for zebra but he didn't as he already voted. This seemed to me like a scums way of trying to distance himself from a teammate with zebra flipping civ this was proven false. Which also helped with civ lean of him.

What is everyone thoughts on Draconus this game? His fly by vote on me seems strange but that partly seems strange since it was on me. With only getting me to two it didn't save a teammate, so I find it very weird.

So - now it comes down to, as far as the prize of the lazgun goes, believing sig or not if the stealing items thing was what he got. That's cool. I can dig that. I can also see why BR would consider that as a civ.

I can completely see why given that prize she would be suspish of sig. A smart mafia team would split their day 0 vote to maximize the number of prizes they could potential win to benifit their team. There were only 2 lasguns and she knew she was a civ. I'm guessing her working theory was something along the lines of what I just said.

Much like I know I'm a civ, it's gonna make me be careful with Matt. Because there were only 2 of our item too if I recall correctly and I know I'm civ.

But, fwiw, I don't currently think Matt is bad. Maybe we got lucky and both of us are civ? Maybe sig and BR were both civ and the mafia didn't have enough time/involvement to coordinate enough to split their vote.

I'm not sure about Dracdev right now. He's a hard read for me. He and bullz are similiar in that I find them scummy when they aren't around and then they post and I'm all "oh, ok that makes sense." I've miss read him more times than I can count. My hubby on the other hand, adores him. I believe "Devin is my mafia soul mate" was spoke by him at one point. True story. (that said I'm sure that mostly about "sticking it to the man." - which at the time was sockadillydandy. lol.)

He is BigDamnHero on this site. He used to mafia back in the day but hasn't for a really long time. I dragged him out of retirment a couple years ago for Daisy's homestar runner game. He won that for our baddie team - and then played the first years championship game. Hasn't played since. I've resolved never to ask him to play another mafia game. We have a place holder on the Parks and Rec mafia as co-hosts as that is something we might have fun doing, but honestly we have little time for planning it. It's our pet dream mafia project. He's mosty found in the Fantasy Football thread tbh. That's his real love.

Turnip, I believe we've already gone over this (though it could've been in the other game), but again...

Day 1, I was taken aback by Mac's Policy Lynch idea, felt rather embarrassed really, and didn't feel like contributing much. As it were, after getting scolded by Epig in TH, I've also been more hesitant to go balls to the wall against all of my pings. It's his game so I've been trying my damnedest to try and stay focused, work one "case" at a time. Sorry I had to admit to that, but I keep gettin' questioned on why I'm "quieter" in this game then the other, so there you go.

HOWEVER, I know Golden and Zebra aren't the only ones I've mentioned in this day phase...

also - if you can steal items why would I tell you if mine was useful or not? I mean, I honestly don't effing know because like I said, I don't understand the closed set up rules enough to know what's going on, but really - that's a silly question to ask regardless when you said you can steal my potentially good or useless thing.

THAT said, yea - knowing zebra is the other person changes things a bit. Again, we still could have been lucky the mafia could not have been that coordinated we both still could be civ.

I know you asked TH and not me but I'm drfunk enough to chime in anyway: re: zebra. Look, I'm not going back an rereading. At this moment, I think she feels a scum read on golden as residual from her 1.0 self. I know. I've been there. I replaced in as a lynched civ *into another civ role* and it was really really hard to shake those feelings about those who lynhed me. I think that regardless of allignment we should maybe quit pestering her this cycle and let her develop her own reads? Maybe when she said she still thinks golden is scummy but she won't persue it - she was - trying to put the town ahead of her own thoughs? I'm again - willing to give her time and space to branch out.

I don't think she can do that if she thinks she's got to be in super defense mode. You may be on to something - you might not. Matt, just hang a bit on it and watch them and see what shakes out.

Out side of them - who are you looking at? Quit tunneling and widen your scope? what stands out to you this day that's NOT zebra and golden?
