:ponder:

Something is happening here...

But I will elaborate.

There are several factions to the game.

House Atreides - I believe these to be the civilians, so the only kill they get as a faction is through lynches.

Team Harkonnen - They killed Night 1. They killed Night 2. Obv this is Mafia.

The Fremen - It looks to be another group, and there has already been discussion in this very thread about the possibility of multiple mafia groups

Team Emperor = See what I said about the Fremen

The Smuggler - Looks like an indy

It was interesting to me that on Night 1 and 2, only team Harkonnen killed. So that means, either they will be the only ones killing the rest of the game, or each of the other factions may have a kill or two whenever they want to use it (ie "as of yet" in my previous statement)

Honestly here, I was stating what was the obvious, just to get it out there, and suddenly Golden, Mac (who to my knowledge also voted SIG right away, wtf) and Eloh are all up in arms about it!

If you are town and the scum kill you we have your thoughts. The scum killing a town version of you seems unlikely to me since you have a bit of suspicion on you.

I don't get it?
If the baddies kill me, I'm blaming you Mac :p

This is what I had written to share.....

I know you guys think I am crazy for my initial thoughts on Zebra's "overreaction". I had dropped the whole thing b/c she said she was joking and all. (i.e. my "you should have used sarcastic orange" comment.) I know some of you still harped on it, but for no good reason as I didn't suspect her any longer and did not vote for her (as I said). BUT!!!! Look at her vote in the poll. 5th overall, right after MM got two votes. I think she could be bad and felt like she needed to get eyes looking at another lynch possibility. I also think TH and FZ are possible baddies. I am not sure about Sig. If Zebra is bad, then I bet sig is civ and vise-versa. Also, I think Bea may be bad as well but that's just a hunch.
First of all, I can't look away from your avatar. Did you make that too? It's killing me

Now to the content itself, what does the first part have to do with Zebra 2?
Second, I have considered zebra working with MM, because as a baddie, I've always went for leading a lynch and not bandwagoning on one. You always look better. So it's an option. The thing is, she felt genuine to me. I guess I'll have to reread her.
Forgive me. It took me a minute to remember that this is Zebra 2. I've been battling a mighty cold, perhaps the flu, and I am struggling physically and mentally because of it. I am FINALLY on the mend as of today, I believe. It's been plaguing me for over a week now. That said, my suspicion of Zebra 2 is all the same. I cannot remember, who did Zebra 2 replace? I want to reread whoever it was. I will look back if I get no immediate answer form someone already in the thread at the moment, but if I don't have to look, I won't.

Reading on...
See this just re-affirms my conclusions of my previous post. I'm fine with civs who have maddeningly over-confident reads (I'm one of them), and I'm fine with civs who gloss over a lot of information for whatever RL reason. But you should not be so confident to try and get someone lynched when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. That is not civ-like behavior.

Matt makes some pretty wild assumptions about the game. His constant Day 0 speculation for example. It's a bit bizarre to me, but it's not out-of-character for him to assume that another faction will start killing. It might be a scumslip but I'm not nearly as dead set on it as you and Golden, Mac.

linki - I'm not dismissing it, and you are right that his reaction is a bit paranoid, but if he's honestly baffled as to what exactly he's being accused of, then it would make sense. I'd like to hear more from him first before biting down on a conclusion to this.

Any of those three could be independent. But I think it most likely that the intent behind your statement was to make your own faction appear more town-aligned and less of a threat (whether or not this is actually true or not. With you, I believe you would do it if town-aligned, I just don't know if you would also lie about it).

It doesn't help that your question to SVS yesterday kind of reeked of 'SVS, I tried to kill you. Why didn't you die?'

Who is your top lynch suspect today Eloh? Zebra?
Yes.

You're bad. There's civ tunneling and then there's baddie tunneling. This is the latter. Civs who tunnel at least look at other candidates and consider the different possibilities of what's going on. This is just ridiculous.
Um...I have looked at other candidates. And I underlined it above. Also, you are zebra 2, so going after you is not the same as going after zebra 1. Therefore, I have been looking at you for about, oh, a few hours, that is all. I have suspected at least 5 others along with you, Zebra 1, Niju, TH, FZ, and Bea. I am not tunneling.

Also, regarding your other post, I know what I am doing. I suspected Zebra 1 and retracted. Now I am suspecting Zebra 2.

I see Elohcin know on the poll I'll review her but as I said I'm reading Blooper as much more scummy. Blooper isn't available to lynch today though, and I've yet to do my ISO on Elohcin.

Know I'm interested in who did this to me, I'm thinking if not the mafia then the Empire, notice this all happened when I mentioned two mafia teams? Might be acting alittle paranoid but it is worth discussing imo.
I am interested as well. Stupid redirection role.

Who do you think would have done this?

Golden - Straight up, did you think that the other factions may have kills at their disposal? And if so, then why are you accusing me of not being town aligned if you also had those thoughts? That is wack, c'mon now.
Golden wrote:It doesn't help that your question to SVS yesterday kind of reeked of 'SVS, I tried to kill you. Why didn't you die?'
I assume if someone tried to kill SVS, the Night Post would've shown a kill not happening.

I mean, really Golden, you're better then this.

Is no one else as intrigued as I am on all these Sig votes. Did I miss an explanation? Were you forced? Can you tell me if you were? Why you specifically? Why Sig specifically? I think we need to be talking about this.

I don't know, straight up, whether they have kills or not.

What I do know is, I expected that Harkonnen would have the kill both nights, but it seemed to be less of a sure thing to you. That suggests to me that you have a different win condition to me. Not necessarily an anti-town one, just a different one.

@Eloh - feel free to talk about it. What do you think is the most likely explanation?

This is a weak defense at best. You say that going after Zebra 2 isn't the same as going after Zebra 1, but in the post I responded to here, you didn't even know that I was Zebra 2 at that point. And you didn't care. Just because you claim to suspect other candidates doesn't mean you're not tunneling. Tunneling is when you only focus on one. And yes, before someone chimes in, I do it all the time. But like I said, there is a difference between civ and baddie tunneling. Could I at least get some reasons for your imaginary suspicion of "Zebra 2", since, as you said yourself, it's not the same as Zebra 1, even though you thought it was and now that you know better you have still yet to provide any reason to suspect me, let alone lynch me? And you seem quite interested in the sig votes, which were obviously forced. Are you not interested in niju not being on the poll today, while you are?

Like you say, there was no evidence there was any kill attempt on SVS.

But, it was an oddly specific question. Do you have a reason to believe SVS would have survived that day, if she was targetted for a kill?

Matt - I'm interested in lynching Harkonnens, which I do not currently think you are. You seem remarkably defensive, but my intent in this line of questioning has been to figure out what is going on with you, which I think is kind of important.

I think you're right. I think Matt is from another faction that has kills that have failed.

I am defensive. I stated what was obvious to everyone and suddenly you and Mac are all over it like I slipped.

Seems to me if you are going to say that you did not think it was possible the other factions had kills, well frankly that seems unrealistic. In fact, I was anticipating tonight's night post to see who would make the kill, and when Harkonnen made it again, I decided to point that out. Suddenly you and Mac are claiming I slipped! I'm seriously in "wtf" mode right now.

Golden - What do you think of sig? Do the three votes on him today make you feel better or worse about him? I'm supposing they're meant to make us feel better, but then I'm wondering if this is the ultimate test in reverse psychology, tbh.

Linki - Lol @ Mac. If there have been kills that have failed, then why aren't those attempted kills shown in the night post?

To anyone who has played an Epi hosted game, does he include failed NK's in the night post?
