I voted for Mac because I don't think the game will progress until either Mac or Golden are dead because of their total derailment of the thread.sig wrote:I'm not sure if Dom swings that wayMacDougall wrote: Eat a dick.
What I don't understadn though is both Mac and Golden made a huge fuss how players should vote for one of them then they think that when someone does vote for one of them they are scum>![]()
I'm saying this today we can't have another day phase of golden/mac it has slowed down some since the start, but if it continues then we are providing perfect cover for the scum to not post. I think we will find a scum or two voting for Roxy regardless of how she flips.
I'll read over Dom and see what I see.
@Dom why do you think MP is scum, also why did you vote for Mac?
I think Mac is more likely to be bad of the two.

This is my second game with Mac. I would have no idea what his genuine civ game is. This is a load of bull.a2thezebra wrote:I agree about Dom. Also you don't have to know someone's genuine civilian game to civ read them on merit. You're reading all my play as disruptive, draining, etc. The inference is that you think I'm a civilian but you voted for me.
That you voted for me at the request of Golden's 1 v 1 is a reasonable explanation.

It's not at the request of Golden. That's a false narrative you are pushing. Golden is the one that said I voted for him to "back up a friend". I don't particularly like that he said that.MacDougall wrote:Also you don't have to know someone's genuine civilian game to civ read them on merit. Re: STAR WARS Mafia [Day 6]
Lol what's the point of claiming scum in the thread? Ultimately you are asking to be lynched. A civilian who wanted to ragequit the game would say they are scum. A scum who wanted to be lynched would say they are scum. She's basically just asked to be lynched and given us no option but to lynch her. If she's a civilian that is beyond fucked. Hence why she should be mod-killed.Golden wrote:Well, just because she says she is scum doesn't mean its true.a2thezebra wrote:But scum are supposed to conceal they are scum. So...I'm going to read/skim what I can and be back with a vote. My apologies for being so MIA this past week; I'll try to do better now that I'm truly in recovery mode.

I know tensions are running high in this game right now. If you feel it starting to get personal, take a step back. I'm confident that y'all can accuse each other of being liars and killers without resorting to personal attacks.
If you feel someone is personally attacking you, please contact me instead of discussing it in the thread. That tends to only make it worse unfortunately.

Re: STAR WARS Mafia [Day 6]
Hmm, that was...an intense thread to skim...
Errr, well, I did have some suspicion of Roxy in the first place for having what appeared to be less contribution, more...what's the word? Not having as strong, backed up opinions of players in the thread that I'm used to? More just arguing with other players. I feel bad since she's not had a good time playing this game, but she essentially baddie-outed herself, so I'll go ahead and vote there since, to be honest, that's easy for me today.
MP scares me, and he's scaring me more now because I'm leaning civ on him and he tricks me. I'm also wary of people who say they read me as civ, because in the last couple of games where the baddies kicked my civ butt, they've buddied up to me in this manner (I'm thinking Angry Birds in particular). However, MP wasn't playing any of those. I said I was feeling wary of him much earlier, and because I feel good about him now, I think I should definitely look at him more closely like I promised before, if that makes sense :P
Spacedaisy replaced Glorfindel, right? I got that from the last five pages or so reading, so it seems I need to look back and see what went on there. I know Glorfindel was after me for voting him a few cycles back, apparently because I came in "out of nowhere" and voted him, but I had suspicion of him on the previous day when I voted bcornett; I just didn't explain it eloquently, at all. I'd like to look back more closely and see if my opinion remains the same, but last I checked and felt, I thought he (and now she) was a baddie.
Dom is being odd in this game, but his lack of participation/focus (?) perhaps can be attributed at least partially to a rather intense A World Reborn game. Still, from what I've read and what MP pulled out for him, it doesn't read like the civ Dom I'm used to. Again, more intense study needed.
Okay, stopping now because my groceries have been sitting on the counter for over an hour, and placing my vote. I may actually be around tonight (with beer, yay!) for real-time playing
also cookie baking because cookies

I'd like to go into more detail later on (gosh, I keep saying that and almost never producing, but I'm going to try), but I'll at least share my current gut thoughts from this last skim and what I intensely read last (which was ages ago, but better than nothing).sig wrote:When you get the chance I'd like to hear your thoughts on MP, Space, and Dom please.nijuukyugou wrote:I planned to allot more time today to catch up and whatnot (I finally started feeling better yesterday, woo hoo!), but I've only just returned from shopping today and...there are literally at least 20 pages for me to read since last I readSo...I'm going to read/skim what I can and be back with a vote. It's such a different dynamic here to RYM. RYM is almost exclusively hipster scum that treat each other like shit for fun. Here there are regular folk and mums and dads and stuff. So if I'm coming off like a jackass it's because I'm totally used to playing Mafia with people who treat each other like shit literally for fun.

Re: STAR WARS Mafia [Day 6]
Episode XII: Something Wicket This Way Comes
Lando Calrissian giving the Rebellion the cold shoulder did not go over well for certain factions within the Alliance. In particular, the Ewoks took great offense to the scoundrel siding with the Empire after the executions. Mon Mothma and the other Rebel leaders urged the Ewoks not to take any drastic actions, but Wicket and her followers were determined not to let the Empire bully them any longer. And so they gathered up their sticks and stones and marched on Lando's private estate, which had been converted into an imperial intelligence office, and the seat of their occupation of Cloud City.As was to be expected, poor Wicket and her many Ewok soldiers were massively outgunned, and without the advantages of their homeworld, were no match for the Empire and their Troopers. The poor souls barely made it up the entryway before they were shot dead. As it turns out, and in perhapss the films most interesting twist to date, the Ewok assault was a mere smokescreen to conceal the departure of the rebel forces with valuable intelligence and much needed supplies pilfered from Cloud City. Brave Wicket had given up her life to ensure that her allies escaped the planet with the supplies they would need to mount their next offensive against the Empire.
===
Roxy, having for some reason just now become aware of her son's fate. got up from her seat in a tizzy and stormed out of the room, leaving behind the party. As she left, she bumped into the second Bass and gave him a bewildered look, devoid of any recognition. The second Bass didn't even notice, his eys transfixed on the excellent film. Roxy continued on her way down to the parking lot, but was intercepted by yet another man. This time, DharmaHelper revealed himself from behind a dumpster. He'd apparently been sleeping there for some time, as his stench pervaded the area.
"Hello Roxy! Or should I say.....Wicket."
Roxy looked over her friend, confused not only at his current state but also his words. He was rambling, surely mad! "What do you mean Wicket? Is that because the little furry bear from the movie kind of looks like me?"
But DharmaHelper did not respond. His eyes glowed red as he stared deep into Roxy's very being. Finally, he spoke, each word driving Roxy further and further into a transfixed stupor. "Dorizi ki diâ doru mis waria zami ri inamsi wo. Ri nayasa kakdtira nayir nindz tuti zûtatarwamsi ai ritas."
Roxy has been lynched
She was Wicket

Re: STAR WARS Mafia [Night 6]
Okay I should reveal now that on night 4 someone apparently paid a large price to have me ensure Roxy was dead before night 7. But I refused to do anything about it because it seemed bad. I don't have a killing role so I couldn't do anything about it but Roxy did it herself so I guess I'm rich now.
