A team kill is not the same as a role ability.

I don't agree. The roles are quite specific regarding the mechanics. It isn't a "team kill." It's a kill that affects other aspects of the Mafia's roles.

It makes sense if Simon is the Phisbat and the team was allowed to have anyone send in their kill and specify who is carrying it out. In that case Simon would not have used his particular ability but could have still had his boss character carry out the kill.

Question is, and you two know MP better, say a player is not playing, would he feel bad for the baddies and let them carry on instead of him? Maybe that's the reason why he said Simon won't be able to win with his faction. Or maybe it's not related. My head hurts.

Typically, all role-related PMs, including kills, must be sent in by the player that has that role. However, in Simon's case and because of the holidays, I may have been willing to make exceptions.

I knew he was Charlie since I was gathered by him and when he died I was no longer in a party. I also knew Wilgy was Olimar and that one of DDL K4J or Glorf was Brittney the same sort of way. I was in each of their parties at one point or another.

We knew at that point that Glorf was a Protaginist thanks to our own info-gathering. We were considering nightkilling him, but luckily the civs did it for us.

I have no idea why he listed me so highly on his civ list though.
