Counter-claiming isn't going to happen when there are obviously fake role cards, otherwise the setup wouldn't allow claiming in the first place.

There's also the very obvious Sawyer roleclaim. I think that Golden did indeed give the baddies fake roles to claim, making roleclaims completely useless, and Sawyer is the perfect role for Epi to claim since he fits that role naturally (minus the being a hunk ofcourse). I could see Epi acting like Sawyer in a Lost game regardless of if he had that role or not, but now he went over the top, enjoying it just a bit too much for me to think he is doing this as a civ.

I wish we were just because of how brilliant that would make yesterday's result. Two major lynch candidates for most of the day and all of a sudden a player who had ZERO votes for most of the day ends up lynched. A little risky don't you think?

Are you saying the bad team couldpotentially be people on the plane? I would find that easier to believe than Golden giving the baddies a list of roles that were NOT civvies. I find that hard to swallow.

I interpreted what Typh said as not all the roles from the show made it into the game and Golden told the others what roles are not in the game i.e. Safe to fake claim.

The cop just can't get a break in these heist games.

So now, Typh, that our most important civ has been lynched for whatever reason, claiming is fine in my book, because as far as I'm concerned we're back to square 1. Looking at votes. And I hope to do another vote analysis at some point, but I'm on a plane to Alaska tomorrow and- barring some electromagnetic shits don't down the plane- will be afk. Not ideal, but work has been grabbin at my balls this week. Next week will be even more involved. And I apologize ahead of time.

Right now, Sorsha's implication that she saved Typh is the best info we have. This does not directly mean that either Sorsha or Typh are cleared, but I trust Sorsha and Typh in that order. Everyone else is fair game as far as I'm concerned.
There is still one power role. This could be any myriad of different roles. That person should NOT claim yet, unless it directly helps the town toward winning.

Seeing as the doctor and the cop are accounted for and there is a third power role out there I don't understand zebras insistence that him role claiming would be so detrimental to the civvie cause. I could see a couple of the roles already claimed fitting with a power so I'm not inclined to trust his claim.

In other games like this it often is the Godfather iirc, can't die until his other teammates do. But anything is possible.

I have not played many of these on other forums. But I have never heard of baddies being given fake roles to claim, but what do i know?

Just FYI, I will not be around a lot for Day 3. Dunno how much I will be able to post.

Top suspect is still Epi. If Mafia got fake roles to claim, I would think that they would be more likely to hint from the beginning. As everybody has hinted or claimed a different role, I am quite confident this is actually the case.
Scotty is also on my list.
If I had to guess the third baddie, LC/Wilgy/Matt? Something like that.
