I never meant to imply that a civ bullzeye would *prove* you were bad, just that a baddie bullz would exonerate you.

I don't mind suspicion. It's a healthy thing in mafia. But look at the timings of mine and viper's posts. Exactly the same minute. How would any baddy team plan that or even want that? The very idea is silly. But feel free to vote for me tomorrow if you have any doubt about my honesty. I told a five year old child I wasn't bad. How could I lie to a five year old?

It's hard because this is very tricky.

Krissy has not talked a lot.

And Lizzy looks like a little bad dinosaur.

But silence can be for many reasons, maybe she is also new to mafia and doesn't know what to say, or maybe she is very busy (I doubt it if she is a teacher.....yeah...she's bad). And looks can be deceptive. I'm sure Liz isn't as bad as she looks. (unless she is of course). Difficult isn't it?

It is now Day 4. You have 24 hours to decommission an engine.

So last night I decided to look at Snow and Viper because I thought the timing of their votes for me was odd. I noticed a weird thing about Snow.
Snow Dog wrote:Llama's plan was ill timed being in a game with a high level of newbies. But one person who voted for him simply wouldn't accept my point that if Llama was bad he wouldn't act like that. That was Bullzeye. I am voting for him. I am as sure as can be that he is bad.

Votes Bullzeye.
Here he implies that he always knew Llama was acting in a civvie-like manner and his tone suggests he had spent a while arguing against lynching him. This is not the case however:
Snow Dog wrote:
Bullzeye wrote:I don't see any reason to keep waiting, it doesn't look like my opinion is going to change. I'm voting Llama - I think he's acting strangely and I'm not buying the whole 'sacrifice' thing he claims to be doing...
Isn't he acting too strange to be bad?
That was the only post of his that suggests he has any sort of doubt about Llama's intentions being bad, prior to this he sang a different tune:
Snow Dog wrote:
Hedgeowl wrote:

Hedgeowl wrote:I am currently suspicious of those who didn't vote. Especially those like Lizzy and A Person who were waiting so last minute that they missed the vote. First day voting for noobs could be an excuse for some, but doesn't work for everyone. Not sure on Nev currently, but he's not my inclination for the next vote.
I'm terrible at making decisions, so waiting until the last minute is the only way I get things done :(
This could be said about so many of us in this game :D However, Snow Dog I am curious if you will be voting for A Person again and do you have any further thoughts?
I doubt I'll vote him again. I quite fancy a vote for you or Llama if this pig idea keeps going. feels like a baddie move to me.
The previous night, he 'quite fancied' a Llama vote based on how he was acting at the time. So I really don't see where this whole idea that I or anyone else 'simply wouldn't accept' a point of his. He made this point once and with little enthusiasm or elaboration. Another thing caught my eye which could be nothing but bears mentioning regardless in my opinion.
Snow Dog wrote:
Bullzeye wrote:
Hedgeowl wrote:So many questions. Since DH has clearly been biff'd, is DH now free from suspicion or can baddies target one of their own to throw us off?
Baddies do it a lot, I don't see why it'd be any different in this game.
It could very well be different. This is kind of an easier game.
Here he suggests that baddies might not be able to use their own powers on their teammates, rendering anyone who they did use them on guaranteed civvie, based on the idea this is an easier game than most. It was later confirmed that of course baddies can target their own teammates as usual. This struck me as possibly a sort of preemptive defense of a team mate who might be targeted by a baddie power in future. On the other hand it could be nothing. But I'm quite curious about Snow in general.

What I want to know is: what is with the NKs?
Birds hadn't posted in three days, and wasn't particularly targeting anyone except llama.
If there's some method here, I'm not seeing it at all. Is random-NK a normal thing for baddies to do?

It obviously didn't work.
Too many new people, and the logic about splitting the good from bad was incredibly shaky.
And two of the llama-voters were pretty clearly not diesels, which means that even if all three of the others were, he only did a little better than guessing.

And language, sir, I don't speak French!

Does anyone have thoughts on the reasons behind such random-seeming kills?
I'm especially curious if you have any thought Bullz..
Why especially me? I have no great insight to share. In my experience kills rarely have much of a pattern because patterns can lead to players, so random-seeming would be the way to go. Perhaps the diesels don't have any particular agenda or perhaps they have one that's not so obvious.

As you know perfectly well, *this* is the response I'm talking about.
Do you think you can make a page-long post go away by ignoring it?

Especially considering who posted the argument.. if you don't have anything to say about it,
I'm pretty sure where my vote's going.
I haven't ignored it. I quoted my post for you where I tell Simon I'm not bad.
Oh and of course you'd definitely have confessed if you were a baddie ;)

But decommissioning steamers that are basically absent seems like poor play to me.
I mean, it's possible they've gathered information in various ways, but they don't have access to a lot of info via powers..

It's making me think that there aren't any experienced players on the diesel team.
Or would be, if I weren't becoming so confident that *you* are.

Because I have a strong reason to believe you're a civ (which ought to be obvious, though I don't think I'm allowed to explain, since it indicates a specific role).
Perhaps the diesels don't have any particular agenda or perhaps they have one that's not so obvious.
That doesn't make sense. Of course they have an agenda - they're trying to *win*.

I follow your reasoning about patterns though; I guess without knowing specifically who is being protected, it'd be a bit fruitless to try
to analyze who is being carefully not scrapped.. but I'm going to try anyway. Wish me luck.

Well if you are dropping role hints Nev and confirming he is is Civ I will be sure to not vote him this time.

So if I can trust you Nev and you are sure on Bullz that is good. That's three of us I can at least trust.

Oh come on, that's not a role hint.
Everyone that's paying attention knows exactly who he is, and I certainly didn't indicate any particular role myself.

I think I see your game here, and it's pretty clever, I have to admit.
We'll see how it turns out for you though; I don't see how you can buy more than a couple of turns this way.
