Your answer about knowing there was thread-based baddie chat was "I dunno. I guess?" So... that makes it a bit hard to believe that the "slip" idea was part of your original joke. If you knew the baddies were chatting in forum threads, then making the joke be a funny pretend 'oops wrong thread!' slip is possible, but you're equivocating about that, so

Regarding the lynch result. either Scotty is one of those Indy roles or the lynch was stopped. If the lynch was stopped then the people who voted for Scotty are probably not the civ lynch stopper.

I doubt Scotty is that role either. I can't see the civ lynch stopper playing it the way Scotty did. In fact as I write this I think most likely that Scotty is the Indy role and wanted us to know it to make himself less appealing for NKs and future lynches...

Eh, I think suspecting him for not recognizing your meta (which, as he pointed out, you can deliberately change) wasn't very convincing, although you did cite more reason than the other LC voters. And Boulders straight up saying he wanted to join the LC bandwagon made it look even weirder to me.

This doesn't really work. For this to be true we would have to believe Scotty's message was straight up a joke (because there's only two on that team so SVS couldn't be involved) and that Nutella, knowing this was a joke, headed the persecution of this joke which imo sounds very very unlikely on a day one where no other accusations/arguments had been made yet.

You can get lynched for farting in the wrong direction on a day one. Why risk that?
