I really want to apologize for missing the last lynch vote and otherwise being not around recently. The college life is busy but I'll hopefully be around more often from here on. Now on to playing catch up and replying to things:

Ok first of all, why do people insist on voting for me for seeming civ? This is like the third time I've had someone do that to me in this past year. Weird to me.

Sorry about that, I didn't know that's happened to you so often but like I said, I really don't think you're bad, and going with the "vote who you trust the most" thing possibly works. I feel bad that it was you that I voted for, but you seriously seemed so genuine and good in the beginning of the game. And I still think you are, especially after you were almost lynched yesterday. I agree, that whole thing seemed super fishy.

I definitely agree with this. It seemed like a weird, very opportunistic vote. Though I'm not sure if it's enough to go on to say that he's definitely bad.

I never get overly engaged in being a civ unless I have identifiable civ teammates, like I did in LOST. So it will suck for my civ team if I die, but I would rather die & prove you wrong than have to deal with this constant poking.

That's a little concerning and also sad I mean, yeah, being a civ and being suspected sucks but I don't think that means you should turn yourself into a martyr because in the end it just hurts the goal you're working towards.

Two reasons baddie teams have no reason to kill each other, and he survived a lynch which I doubt is a baddia power, so I'm assuming he wasn't. Yes I know mafia can wagon on someone who isn't lynched but there is little reason to do that and vote without reason day 1 if you are mafia.

I do not really understand this post much. There is plenty of reason for baddie teams to kill each other, since they have to kill everyone else but themselves to win, and they know who they themselves are, right? So anyone not on their own team is a perfectly good target for them. Maybe I didn't get the context of this conversation that well but I'm not sure, this post just didn't seem to make much sense to me.

I'm sick of driving people away here for having an aggressive play style.

I wanted to comment on your play style but I wasn't sure how, and I guess aggressive is the best term for it. On the one hand, I really really really don't believe that a baddie would be consistently bringing so much attention to themselves like this, but on the other hand, I also don't really know you at all or how you normally play so maybe this is just normal for you, and if you are bad then you would continue to play the same way as normal to avoid suspicion. But I guess for now I would say that I don't really think you are bad. Which is bad for my whoever-you-don't-think-is-bad-is-actually-bad mindset. Mafia is hard.


On the Boulders/skyguy/ekeknat thing, it was all very entertaining (I guess), and reminded me of Made's interesting posting style back when we first started playing here (good times). For transparency, as far as I know, none of the three know each other IRL (though I might be wrong about that) and what ekeknat has said about IRC was correct. Boulders saying that someone with skyguy's exact username was never on the IRC is technically correct but they do still know each other by a different name. I am pretty sure all this stuff about a bar and stalking was completely made up. Though I guess it doesn't matter too much now, but I just thought I should add what I know about the situation.


Also, about the insanified thing, can I have some information on how exactly it works? Is each post run through some sort of insanity translator or something similar that we could return it back through? Is there any way for us to possibly decode what MM is saying, or is it just all hopelessly random and we just have to try not pay too much attention to it?

Regarding sig's comment Dana, in this particular game the mechanics are a bit different. Each baddie team only has to kill their respective civilian counterparts to win. Regarding my play style, I play this vocally and this aggressively both as good and bad.

I mean "won't post... today" is maybe telling us that they won't post anymore today? And the reason I asked about being able to decode it was from the "decipher" because it could mean either "hey try to decipher me" or "you won't be able to decipher me." So maybe if we know about the mechanics of it, then we could figure out if it's even possible or worth it to try and figure out.

Are you told when you are insanified or does it just surprise you when you try to post? I don't think I posted during day 2 at all, so if you're not sent a message or anything, then the roles could have been active without anyone knowing or seeing the results.
